all straightforward ,with no complications, increase in price for someone with a previous years no call outs or use was a bit "" salty"" otherwise no other complaint

Tres mauvais service

Tombé en panne moteur a 1 heure de chez moi en Novembre dernier.Appel au service assistance, réponse rapide d'une personne qui apparemment n'est pas en France, la preuve arrivera après.
Apres avoir donné l'adresse du lieu ou est la voiture la personne me dit qu'elle me rappelle rapidement.
Il est environ 5 heure et il fait froid.J'attends et la personne me dit qu'elle ne trouve pas de dépanneuse...Mais que je vais avoir un taxi...
Mon souhait était une dépanneuse qui ramène la voiture dans mon village...Apres un certain temps d'attente , je cherche de mon coté dans les villages autour et j'appelle des amis au secours..
Je trouve une dépanneuse qui arrivera dans 30 minutes (des dépanneuses il y en a partout dans mon coin)
Un ami m'amene car le garage est loin de chez moi et pas moyen de trouver un taxi... La personne de l'assistance me rappelle en me disant qu'ils ont trouvé une dépanneuse pour le lendemain belle blague, je lui dis d'annuler, je me suis débrouillé tout seul mais je tiens à ce qu'il me rembourse la dépanneuse. Il me dit maintenant qu'il va me trouver une voiture de remplacement pour le lendemain je dis d'accord.
Le lendemain matin n'ayant pas de nouvelles, je cherche une voiture dans mon secteur, j'en trouve une en location à 10 km. Un peu plus tard, l'assistance me rappelle en me disant qu'ils ont trouvé une voiture de location dans un garage près de l'endroit où je suis tombé en panne à 60 km. Apparemment ils n'ont pas bien compris que j'avais déjà ramené la voiture chez moi. Du moins dans mon garage. Je lui dis que c'est pas la peine, j'ai trouvé à côté de chez moi car je n'arrive pas à trouver un taxi pour aller chercher la voiture à 60 km, ce qui est ridicule, j'étais plutôt en train de chercher un taxi pour faire les 10 km. Impossible de trouver un taxi qui sont tous pris pour promener des malades. Finalement, j'ai encore fait appel à des amis de mon village pour m'emmener au village d'à côté récupérer la voiture. J'ai trouvé tout cela scandaleux car je ne peux même pas imaginer si ça m'était arrivé au milieu de nulle part dans les Cévennes par exemple. Si il est prouvé que l'assistance se fait à partir d'une plate-forme à l'étranger, c'est franchement une plaisanterie car la personne au bout du film ne connaissait pas du tout ni la région, ni n'avait aucune idée. Comment trouver une dépanneuse en dehors peut-être de leur fichier je sais pas bref très mauvaise expérience avec AXA ASSISTANCE, en plus ils ne m'ont pas remboursé complètement la location de voiture, ni indemniser pour les Taxis que je n'ai pas eu, mais surtout il était dit, j'ai vu plus tard qu'on me donnait 30 € d'indemnités si la dépanneuse n'était pas arrivé en une heure. Que dire d'une dépanneuse qui est arrivé le lendemain.

Excellent customer when I telephoned to change my address on my breakdown policy only to find it lapsed last year. Although we didn’t get to the bottom of how that occurred a new policy was set up without delay and the operator was most professional throughout and most helpful. Thank you!

Quick and fast process but far too many email notifications!

Quick and fast process however my inbox has been inundated with emails about offering password resets, following up on a quote even after I purchased the policy and duplicate emails one after another saying the exact same things! I must have received about x15 emails over the process of setting things up tonight. There’s definitely something wrong with your IT/Email notifications.

I found it hard to understand the…

I found it very hard to understand the operator, she may have found my Scottish accent difficult as well!
Anyway, I went on-line and used the Discount code, amended the number of drivers to one as my wife doesn't drive now and was satifisfied with the outcome.

You think you have breakdown cover but…

You think you have breakdown cover but you don't! All of you who have breakdown cover with AXA go back and read what it covers!!! I have been paying breakdown cover with AXA for years and I have never called them because I drive relatively new cars. I have been away and got stuck in Australia by the time I got back my battery was down. I just called them and they informed me that am only covered if the car is 1 mile away from my home!!! I hate to think what would happen if I broke down 3 or 5 miles away. I bought this cover as part of my insurance as I always do, this is day light robbery!!!

Really, really bad service when they are needed

Havde helt normal rejse med min kollega og bestilte basis axa forsikring til afbestilling. Jeg blev syg og måtte aflyse. Fik betalt lægeerklæring og indsendte til axa gik der nærmest 2 måneder før jeg så fik langt kringlet dokument som skulle udfyldes. Nærmest en udmattelseslmanøvre fra AXA. De havde jo alt. Billet. Lægeerklæring og vores betalingsoplysninger osv. først nu. To en halv måned senere har axa ENDELIG indsat penge fra fra flybilletten. Decideret håbløst og umulig kundeservice. Virker seriøst mere som moneymaking firma der ikke har brugervenlighed eller kunderne i fokus. Hold dig fra dem medmindre du ha tre timer til at kæmpe for at få dine penge igen. !

Not Impressed

Called AXA when car broke down, was put on hold for 5 mins then told their systems were down and could I call back later from the side of a busy road in the wind and rain. Im now in a holding queue to the complaints line, still no answer after 15mins......

Chaotic software results in wasteful phone call

Chaotic software resulting in nearly 1 hour on phone. AXA email sent ,e to web page, saying my direct debit details had changed 9they hadn't - AXA no longer accept bank direct debits!!). My account would be 'expired' (English?). Phone agent tried to take a credit card (via phone keyboard). Failed 3 times. Then tried to set up new account, was half way through, phone call cut off ... no call back. Decided to try again online (with same credit card). What a waste of everyone's time. Does not someone test this before putting into action? PS Agent pleasant, but just 'obeying orders' from his screen.

Excellent staff at customer centre (Diana I think) sorted out online renewal problem. She was clear, helpful and understanding of my frustration with my online account.

AXA: la trampa del seguro de viaje: te renuevan solos y te cobran hasta 2026

El 3 de octubre de 2024 contraté un seguro de viaje con axa, aprovechando un descuento por pagarlo en 12 cuotas. Sin embargo, en la letra chica figuraba una renovación automática, algo totalmente inapropiado para un servicio de duración limitada.
en diciembre de 2025 comenzaron a aparecer nuevas cuotas que no correspondían y, en enero, incluso se me cobraron tres cuotas juntas. Al reclamar, me informaron que, si no cancelaba el seguro en octubre, este se renovaba automáticamente por un año completo, lo cual constituye una práctica abusiva y engañosa, incompatible con la naturaleza de un seguro de viaje, que no debe renovarse como un seguro de auto o de hogar.
solicité la baja inmediata y la devolución del dinero por un servicio que no uso, no necesito y no autoricé. Sin embargo, la única respuesta que recibí por correo fue que la baja se aplicaría recién en octubre de 2026, lo que implica que pretenden seguir cobrando un servicio que expresamente rechacé.
mi reclamo es claro: exijo que se descontinúe esta práctica de renovación automática para seguros de viaje y que se me restituya el monto total debitado a la fecha, dado que los cargos fueron realizados sin mi consentimiento y en violación de los principios de información, transparencia y autorización previa establecidos por la ley de defensa del consumidor.
