Needed to replace the felted flat roof…
Needed to replace the felted flat roof above my bay window. Found the instructional videos very helpful and the 2 kits I ordered had everything in I needed to do a professional looking job. I pleased with how it looks.
Couldn't fault my order. The fiberglass kit for 2.5 square metres has more than enough material to do the job. The essentials kit provided the essential consumables I needed.
The edge trims were as expected.
It all arrived well packaged in 3 parcels on the day given.

Ordered a roofing kit on Wednesday 3rd…
Ordered a roofing kit on Wednesday 3rd July 2019, before noon, for 'next day delivery' and finally gave up waiting for the goods on 13th July 2019, requesting a full re-fund. Despite giving full, correct address and contact details, I was told that they had attempted to deliver to a nearby adress, without attempting to contact me, twice?!!
I have wasted a day's holiday which was taken to carry out the installation and re-arranged my working days around the expected deliveries. Despite the Managing Director getting involved personally and helping as much as he could, this company was let down by the dire carrier that they use and I would not recommend using them, especially if you are in the midlands or the north.

RKD are always honest and upfront.
Mr Harraway is 100% correct in 90% of his review and this is the first and only bad review we’ve ever had
In human error the first line of delivery address was mistyped, so the courier tried to deliver to the incorrect address twice. had this not happened delivery would have been adequate
However the courier didn’t notify RKD of any issue and hence Andy’s order sat at their local depot for nearly a week, until he chased RKD when our MD took personal interest
When this error was discovered he resolved the delivery address issue quickly but the courier let us all down in getting the order to Mr Harraway asap - despite scheduling their van to deliver twice the driver just didn’t do so - again RKD were not informed and only through daily comms with Mr Harraway as we chased this problem with high priority kept us appraised of continued failure on the courier part
So yes two problems - 1 - a mistyped address and human error and 2 - courier did not perform either in delivery or reporting any problem
So we agree that performance here was very poor, and despite once leaving the warehouse an order is somewhat out of our control, we take service very seriously and have offered profuse apologies and of course a full refund
The only comment RKD would disagree with is the comment re delivery in the North and Midlands - our warehouses are in Leeds and Coventry only our HO and accounts is in Southampton and our service record to date is excellent
Mr Hardaway was completely right to be dissatisfied and extremely frustrated - so are we - The matter re courier performance has been raised at board level and process put in place re typing error prevention.
Kind regards Kimberley Harper Marketing Manager
