Ordered 20m2 only covered 12
Ordered 20m2. First the website went wrong and wouldn’t accept payment then it accepted but seemed to charge me 3 times . Luckily this sorted itself out
Sent multiple emails asking about delivery date as had no shipping email . Zero replies . Was worried site but kit arrived , then had a shipping email after arrival but no replies
Luckily it arrived but 4 trims were broken , emailed but no response.
Poured the roof and the 20m2 kit did about 12m2 ( roof was 18) . Had to order more resin . Ordered from another company as didn’t trust them but no replies to any messages or emails .
Feel conned as the extra resin cost £99 plus £16 delivery

We are disappointed that you chose to leave such a damaging review before allowing us the opportunity to respond to your concerns.
We would like to clarify a number of points, as several aspects of the review do not accurately reflect what happened.
Firstly, the issue with the payment was not caused by Roofing Kits Direct. The transaction was affected by the purchaser’s bank verification process, which resulted in funds appearing as pending. As soon as you contacted us in a panic, we responded promptly to explain the situation and put your mind at ease. At no point were you charged three times by Roofing Kits Direct.
There did appear to be emails regarding delivery that had not been answered, and for this we sincerely apologise.
Regarding the alleged damage to the trims, we can find no email from you reporting this issue. Had we been contacted, we would have arranged replacement trims as quickly as possible. The actions of the courier once the goods leave our premises are outside of our direct control, but we always aim to resolve such issues promptly when they are reported to us.
With regard to the quantity of materials supplied, the 20m² kit purchased was calculated to be sufficient for the stated area, as it is for the vast majority of our customers purchasing the same kit.
Importantly, we had every intention of offering a gesture of goodwill and addressing your concerns constructively in the email we were preparing to send. Unfortunately, before we had that opportunity, this review was posted containing accusations that we had "conned" you along with an email accusing us of false advertising.
We strongly disagree with those allegations. Roofing Kits Direct is a family-run business that has been trading since 2018, and we have fulfilled thousands of orders for customers. We take our reputation and, more importantly, our customers seriously, and we pride ourselves on going above and beyond wherever an issue genuinely arises.
We are always willing to acknowledge mistakes when we make them and put things right. In this instance, however, we feel the review does not fairly represent the circumstances.
It is unfortunate that a little more time and communication may have allowed these issues to be resolved directly, rather than resulting in a public review that we believe contains several inaccurate or misleading statements.
Fantastic service!
Fantastic service from Roofingkitsdirect as always. I have been ordering from them for a while now and I am starting to get the impression that ordered products arrive faster than I manage to check the email with the order details! This makes a huge difference as I don't need to plan for everything in advance and can order extras as and when I need them. Delivery charges are also very reasonable so not a huge consideration when I place multiple orders! Thank you team!

It went on my shed easily enough
It went on my shed easily enough, thanks to the guide video. Ask me how good the product is once it has rained (last rain three months ago), or better still in 20 years time!

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us this review. I'm thrilled that your project went well.
No contact adhesive for securing the edges was supplied
There were a couple of problems with my order.
One was the bare minimum of deck adhesive was supplied which didn't actually cover the area of the shed, so I ended up having to buy more to finish the job.
The second problem was, despite this being sold as a "kit", the kit did not come with any contact adhesive which is needed for securing the edges of the job. When I questioned this fact, I received a very dismissive answer that "the roof deck adhesive had arrived", which wasn't what I asked.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us this review, as you can see we generally do not have these issues. After looking at this order, I believe it was an issue with the listing itself and kit contents. I can assure you we will take this feedback seriously and improve. Apologies again for the inconvenience.
