Hope the pitcher is working..... I am not a scientist so I trust the company.
It is heavy when filled up with water -
The filter timer is quirky and you can't really see how long it has left before replacement
We use it for all our drinking water, coffee and some cooking - again hope it's doing the job

Hi! To turn the timer on/off (to see the day count), press the timer button for 3 seconds. Pressing it for 8 seconds resets the timer. Sorry for the confusion about its functionality! If you've had the product for a long time and the timer no longer turns on, contact support@epicwaterfilters.com, and they can send a replacement!

The pitcher arrived promptly and the water taste great after filtering. My only complaint is how slow the filtering is. It is very inconvenient to have it take so long.

Hi Michaela, I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the taste of the filtered water! Our filters are designed to take some time, as longer contact time with the filtration media helps with contaminant reduction. Initially, it normally takes around 15 minutes for the water to filter through. Is it taking significantly longer than that, like upward of 45 minutes?
Great value when using the subscription
The main thing I like about Epic water filters is that they take out 99.9% of all the bad stuff in my city water

Best water filter EVER!!
Best water filter I've ever used. Even my husband drinks water now. I tell everyone I know about Epic Filters. Even our dogs only get Epic filtered water!! Love this product and their customer service people are friendly and amazing!

I have submitted my dissatisfaction…
I have submitted my dissatisfaction with the lid of the pitcher…it leaks. When I pour water, I have to, tightly, hold the lid down to prevent water spilling out onto the counter and floor. This is awkward and unnecessary because of the size of the pitcher and how much water it holds. I’m considering investing in a different water purifier system because of this issue. To date, no one in the company has addressed this. Very disappointing.

I'm really sorry to hear about the trouble you've been having with your pitcher lid, especially since you've already reached out and haven't received the assistance you needed. I'm not saying this is necessarily the case, and regardless, I understand how inconvenient it is to have to hold the lid while pouring. Can I ask if you're pouring while there's still water in the upper reservoir, or if this is happening even after all the water has filtered through?
Our pitcher is designed to be poured from once the upper reservoir has emptied. However, the lid isn't designed to form an immovable seal, so we do recommend keeping a hand on it when tilting the pitcher significantly, as the weight of the water and wet filter can cause the lid to shift outward slightly.
If you're willing, please send us an email at support@epicwaterfilters.com with the word "agent" in your message. We'd appreciate the opportunity to look further into this issue and see about getting you a replacement lid if yours is particularly loose, even when pouring with an empty upper reservoir.

Poor Customerservice
Within a very short period of having the product a piece came off the lid. I wrote to them and they didn’t respond. I wrote again and they finally did. However, it took three email exchanges to recognize that I was corresponding with an AI generated system.
They didn’t offer a much help and of course, as we all know, it’s frustrating if you keep track of every single piece of information when you purchased something, although I sent them a photo of the product. It is not worth the money it takes a very long period of time for the water to filter and you get far less out of the filtration in terms of how long before the filter is clogged then they advertise
In addition, the pitcher one you don’t get much water for it so you’re spending a good part of the day refilling and waiting.
Lastly, and I think most importantly the customer service is terrible and I’m just going to leave it as a loss and move on from there.
What a disappointment because I generally take very good care of every product I have and have them for years

I totally understand you wanting to take this as a loss and move forward after how we handled this. I'd still like to make this right if we can, though. I'd like to get our customer service team back in touch with you and bring this to the attention of our head of customer service.
I'm going to request more information through this platform. Could you provide the email address you used and, if possible, your order number, if you haven't already provided it in your exchanges with our support team? We'd appreciate the opportunity to look into what happened with your lid and address your concerns about our support team and the filters.
Also, when I request this information, I know the email from Trustpilot says, "If we don’t hear from you, the company may not be able to recognize your review as genuine." I want to assure you that we do recognize your review as genuine. I just can't edit the wording of Trustpilot's request email.

Not as advertised
Read online literature. Planned trip to uzbekistan. Always filtered our drinking water. Last trip used ceramic filter. This time convinced Epic was better. After one week the filter stopped dripping. Rinsing flushing did not help. Was forced to purchase bottled water. The Epic pitcher became a very expensive water pitcher. Returned to USA and find returns limited to 30 days. Never again. Ceramic filter and bleach drops. Never Epic. Expensive junk.

Hi Mark, I'm so sorry you had a negative experience with our filters! Sadly, our filters don't handle high sediment levels well. Our filters are made to do well with the relatively low sediment levels typical of treated U.S. household water, rather than the higher sediment levels that can be more common in tap water in parts of Uzbekistan.
The often higher sediment levels in the water you were using are what most likely led to the filter stopping prematurely. I'm sorry we weren't better at communicating how high sediment can affect filter life, especially when using our filters while traveling.
Let me know if there is anything I can do to help from here, or you can reach out for further support at support@epicwaterfilters.com. I'm not 100% sure of the protocol for this, but our support team can be reasonable if you explain the situation and that you were out of the country for those 30 days. If you reach out, include "agent," your order number, and a description of the issue to speed up getting help from our team.
