Excellent!
Delivery was fast and I couldn’t be more pleased with my new water, pitcher and carbon block filter. I think in the long run it’s going to be easier for sure and also cheaper than buying and hauling water. Very satisfied.

No instructions or pkgng
Having only received my second filter replacement I remembered there were some things I first needed to do but no instructions like the time before that were printed on the box the filter was enclosed in. This time it came in no sort of packing just thrown in a bag. First filter or item of any kind I can remember with no protective packing. I’m sure it’s reducing waste and so on but no instructions or packaging is overboard

Hi Doug, I'm sorry about the inconvenience! We print a QR code on those bags that links to video instructions. If you've already disposed of the bag, here are the steps:
1. Remove the old filter cartridge from the casing by holding the very top and bottom of the casing and twisting the bottom counterclockwise. Then, discard the old filter (or save it for our recycling program, where you can send back 5 used filters and receive a free replacement).
2. Rinse the new filter cartridge under cold water for 1 minute to flush it.
3. Press the new cartridge into the casing's top cap, then screw the casing back together. If you removed the entire filter casing, make sure the gasket at the top is still in place.
4. Reassemble the pitcher.
5. Discard the first full dispenser fill or the first 2 full pitcher fills of filtered water.
6. Press the timer on the top of the pitcher/dispenser for 8 seconds to reset the 90 day timer (3 seconds to turn the timer on/off).

Epic water filters have transformed our water
Epic water filters have made our drinking water taste good. I am very grateful! I have been using them for several years and the transformation is amazing. Previous water testing found the water safe to drink but the high iron content made the taste objectionable. The Epic Pure (now Pure XP) filters have solved the problem. I no longer have to buy water at the grocery store.

Hi Ronald, could you please expand on what happened here? For our pitchers, we recommend discarding the first 2 full pitcher fills of water. Flushing the filtration media can sometimes cause the water to appear slightly grayish. Is this possibly what you're referring to?
The only other possible explanation I can think of without further information is the pitcher being left full of water in a warm, sunny spot for an extended period of time. I don't want to make assumptions about what happened here, though, so I'd really appreciate some more information.
If something abnormal is happening with your water, please email support@epicwaterfilters.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and ideally a photo. Include "agent" in your message to get a speedy response.

The filters fail after a few weeks for some and others they may last a month and half .. most times the filters don't even last 2 weeks without becoming clogged. I've asked to speak with someone but the only way they will communicate is by email which is beyond frustrating. In the beginning the filters were awesome and dependable, but they changed something in the design and now they just fail one after the other. I really wanted to love this filter.

Hi Rudy, I'm sorry about the experience you've been having with our filters. From what I can see in your order history, we've sent you two free replacement filters and a spigot. Did you experience the same difficulties with both the Pure XP and Nano XP filters you received?
We did make changes when transitioning from our Classic Pure and Nano filters to the XP filters, but we haven't made any changes to the filtration media since then. I'm really sorry to hear that your filters have been clogging prematurely, especially after you had such a positive experience with them in the past.
