Frustrating wait for refund

Like all the other 1-star reviews, I would heartily recommended you don’t buy anything from Phase Eight if there is a remote possibility that you might want to return it. I returned my item (a fascinator clearly marked £69 for which I was charged £119) on 16th May, the day after I received it. They received it on 18th May - it’s all tracked and I have all the ‘communications’ such as they are. It is now 13th June and on Monday I was promised it would be 3-5 working days now that I had complained. It still hasn’t been refunded. This happens every time I return something to this company - I am given the runaround, nobody is manning the non-existent phone lines, and nobody bothers to reply to emails. Regardless of the quality of the products, the dreadful ‘customer service’ means you will be incredibly frustrated waiting for your money back.

I visited the Kingston store and managed to find a dress which I had been looking for some time. The staff were very helpful, friendly and very efficient. The changing rooms were impeccable which made for a very pleasant experience. Thank you all.

The Gretna Store is excellent

I visited the store at Gretna trying to find a dress. Sally had been recommended by a friend and so I asked if she could help me. She was absolutely brilliant! Can not rate her highly enough. I was struggling to find what style would suit my shape as it had changed a lot after menopause. She knows exactly what suits….she picked out all sorts of styles and colours I would never have looked at….not only did I find a dress, but I found three and now I know what styles to look for when shopping for clothes. I will definitely be back there again.

My visit to your store in Bristol

my sales lady was called Sandra. I visited the store in the Mall, Bristol. She said she was from Columbia,
i cannot praise her enough. Sandra was so helpful, not pushy and suggested just the right things for me. Because she was so so good i bought my whole outfit for my daughters wedding. Sandra is a complete asset to your company and deserves to be recognised for her attitude and genuine interest in my needs and fashion needs. You need to award her highly

Sent item back on 14th May by post

Sent item back on 14th May by post. Have sent copies of receipt and proof of postal to Clare on 5th June. It’s now 12th June, no reply from 5th or since. Have tried the ‘dead’ phone numbers and customer service is next to none. Have now passed on complaint to my bank to get my refund bank. Awful service.

Excellent live chat option for customer service. I had a return query which was dealt with super speedily and efficiently by Makayla. Excellent and polite customer service and issue resolved immediately. Highly recommend shopping with Phase Eight and for their after care.

Had not the best experience ordered two…

Had not the best experience ordered two dresses and paid for the quick delivery (Evri) dresses did not turn up way after the selected date. Contacted Evri no help contacted Phase eight Zainab helped me tracked my order which appears to be missing arranged a refund and I’ve ordered again on a next day delivery supposed to be 13/6/26 fingers crossed these will arrive.
My only thought please do not use Evri this isn’t my first problem with them I’d happily pay extra for them not to be the chosen delivery method we just want a delivery service who delivers when they say they will. My dressed from my original order could be anywhere and it’s a lot of money to lay out for refund and reorders this little kit has cost nearly £500 and I’ve not got a dress yet

Really bad experience

Really bad experience.

Ordered a dress Next Day delivery and have not received it. Evri have delivered it to the wrong address.
Despite several emails, several attempts on live chat and several attempts via phone , no one has responded.
I will now be raising this as a dispute through my bank to get my money back due to lack of response.

I have been going to the Phase Eight…

I have been going to the Phase Eight store at The Furlong in Ringwood for many years and cannot rate it highly enough. Every member of staff is so helpful and nothing is too much trouble. It always cheers me up to find something new to buy there - which is very often! I would also like to mention that the store is always kept immaculately clean and tidy. I needed help with a hat for ascot and…

I needed help with a hat for ascot and the lady assistant quickly selected a dress almost identical to the dress I have (at home) and boots so I could see the hat in situ. It was a stroke of genius as I could see how great the hats looked.. they looked so great I bought the two! Really appreciated the assistants help and dedication to my needs. Amazing staff and wide selection

My husband and I visited the Edinburgh store on Saturday 6th of June and the two staff members on duty were very helpful and accommodating.
