I wanted to buy a new dress and I have always found Hobbs very trans friendly. I asked the sales assistant if the shop had several dresses I wanted to try on in my size and to my delight the dresses I selected were available. I tried them on and they were a perfect fit. I bought both dresses that I tried on. The staff were amazing and extremely helpful. I am delighted with my purchases and I have no doubts whatsoever that I will be visiting Hobbs Covent Garden again in the near future as I just love the styles and above all else the non-judgemental attitude of the sales team. Beautiful dresses and excellent customer care. An absolutely fantastic experience.

Appalling. I ordered a dress online on Saturday 11th July. Paid for next day delivery and it stated Monday arrival. No tracking info till late yesterday. Out for delivery today and now tracking says it’s in the Leeds depot of delivery company! I wanted this for a wedding tomorrow but it’s not going to arrive. Totally fuming. How can you charge premium prices for clothing and have such awful customer service? I will never shop with Hobbs again. Now I have to start trying to get a refund!

Excellent customer service, all members of staff at Hobbs, in the Clarks Village were amazing and very helpfull, and the clothes were well priced and value for money. Amazing experience as allways.

Ordered suits online for a family funeral in June as our local Hobbs store is now closed. All items were returned on the 19th of June as they were either unsuitable or arrived too late. Hobbs received all items on the 21/22 & 24th of June but I am still awaiting a refund!! I've contacted Hobbs by email and Whatsapp over the past week but no one is interested in getting back to me. All tracking numbers have been provided to Hobbs but still no refund. The Hobbs customer service telephone number is also closed no matter what time of day you try. Hugely disappointed with this as I've used Hobbs for years and always been happy with the service but this is unbelievably bad and I now just want my money back!!

I'm genuinely appalled by the level of customer service I've received from Hobbs.

I placed my order before 2 p.m. on 8 July and paid extra for next-day delivery, with an expected delivery date of 9 July. Today is 14 July. The dress has still not arrived, Evri's tracking has not been updated beyond saying they have the parcel, and the occasion I purchased it for has now passed.

The lack of customer service has been even more disappointing than the delayed delivery. For several days I've tried contacting Hobbs via live chat and WhatsApp, despite their customer service being advertised as available seven days a week. Not only have I received no response, but there hasn't even been a simple acknowledgement that my complaint has been received or that someone is looking into it. No apology, no update, no estimate of when I might hear back—just complete silence. It's as though neither I nor my complaint exists.

At this point, I genuinely don't know what else I'm supposed to do. If I continue to receive no response, I may have no option but to pursue a formal complaint and explore recovering the payment through my bank, as Hobbs has provided no information, no support, and no indication that anyone is investigating the issue.

It's astonishing that a premium retailer entrusts high-value orders to Evri, given their well-known reputation for delivery issues. Unfortunately, Hobbs' own handling of this situation has been just as disappointing.

I won't be ordering directly from Hobbs again. If I buy Hobbs in future, it will only be through a retailer such as John Lewis, where both delivery and customer service are demonstrably more reliable.

Chrissie at the Cardiff branch is a real asset. I was unsure of what dress to buy for my daughter’s graduation. For my shape she helped me find the perfect one and was very helpful with suggestions and trying a few on.

Wonderful service in store. However the garments do not last unfortunately. I’ve worn the dress from Hobbs 3-4 times, the side seam has split and several of the buttons have come off. Quite disappointing for the price point, it seems the focus is to use fabrics that feel heavy and higher quality but to cut corners when putting it together. Such as shame as the clothes are well designed and beautiful.

Shop is always very nicely presented. Found a lovely (autumn/winter) dress in the sales. Nice colour, stretchy and generous size 8! So I'm keeping it. It was way too hot to try on - and the staff were very accommodating saying I'd have 28 days to return or exchange if it didn't fit or suit me.
