An amazing experience as I shopped as a first time customer in Hobbs at the Ashford Outlet Centre. From the point of arriving and throughout my search for a special outfit, I was supported and helped in finding what I needed. Safia was interested in my task and helped by pointing stock out which might be suitable and in locating stock she didn’t have in my size from other Hobbs Outlet sources in three different parts of the country. She did everything possible to meet my needs in a totally non-pressured way. I can’t recommend this store and the assistant enough. A great experience!
Appalling customer service
Appalling customer service. I ordered an item online to ‘click and collect’, then tried it on in store in early March. It did not suit me, so I returned it and received a receipt. I subsequently received an email to say that my refund was being processed, but it has never been credited to my account. Several email later, I have just received an email offering me a gift voucher instead. I have sent them a copy of the original online order and of the email confirming that the return had been processed. The date given below is that of the original purchase.

Awful customer service from Hobbs
Ordered and paid for a coat on 18th Dec to be delivered to Hobbs store. It has still not be delivered and not status is forthcoming. I had a few emails promising delivery but still nothing. I hung on the customer service phone line multiple times and was cut off, my emails now going unanswered and chat bot is says they are too busy to help. Truly awful service from a brand that used to be great. My only option now is to report the charge as fraud on my card in order to try and get the money refunded.
Evri are awful
I never write reviews on here but I am so frustrated with my experience. I ordered a substantial order on the 27th August with next day delivery. After many days of Evri saying they are trying to deliver and the cancelling the delivery before the expected time, I got an email saying they have lost the package. I follow this on to Hobbs who insist that Evri are just unable to deliver and do not take accountability for the package being lost. They end up cancelling my order after I had specifically told them I don't want to. They gave me a £20 voucher and 'to make things even easier next time' free next day delivery. I used this and guess what! Two days after delivery I am getting the exact same emails from evri, and the chat assistant for Hobbs has suggested that maybe the delivery truck broke down. I'm sitting here over 3 weeks after the first order with nothing to show for it.

If I could give this Company 0 stars I would. My promised refund was NEVER received. I returned my dresses from America as directed for a full refund. (The store associate at St Pancras left them on as she was very distracted on a personal cell phone call). Now HOBBS has over $300 of my money and the dresses. Awful. Do not buy here.

Poor customer services
I order a coat and a gift box to fit it in. They sent me the coat and a box to fit a shirt! The worst was that they refund me the money for the box rather than sending a replacement. I guess it was cheaper for them though they will..look into the error..!!

But I'm writing to mention (like some other recent reviewers) the excellent service on the chat from Emily. I'm not honestly sure whether Emily is human or an AI but if it's the latter she passes the Turing Test and also gets the job done with great politeness and efficiency. My package return disappeared without trace a couple of months ago but I should now be getting the requested refund. Thanks Emily!
