Poor not interested . Mis sold care plan I was told if my appliance couldn’t be fixed after 3 times I would get a new one. No not true they try replacing the same part 3 times then work their way through various other parts looking for a fault so 3 times for each part they think might have a fault no dryer since 26th august

Have all my appliances insured with D & G. Dishwasher needs repair, go online which doesn’t recognise model number. TWO HOURS LATER, told it isn’t a whirlpool appliance, details taken from policy. Get through to D & G who listened then cut me off. Time to cancel I think.

This company has not moved with the times. Still expected to sit in all day waiting for an engineer. The phone line frequently drops when trying to get through. Hopeless.

Absolutely awful customer service! Kept hanging up on me during phonecalls. Left me for a week with no washing machine heavely pregnant and with two young children. Would not recomend.

I spoke to Mike Sadhasivan from South Africa and he had great customer service and was very respectful compared to other agents he helped us through the process of getting another engineer out.

Appalling service. Increased my cost of cover without notifying me. Agreed a new rate when I complained. Still waiting for the refund agreed 30 days later. Chased again today told could take 7 to 10 days. They told me that on 1/6 I won't hold my breath. Will not be renewing my cover again on expiry.

I'm really not surprised that most reviews for this company have been bad. D&G appointed AO to replace a faulty freezer in April 2022. The cowboys from AO who came didn't even know how to fit an integrated freezer. Not only did they damage my property whilst trying to fit a simple Freezer but they left the appliance unfitted and hanging and decided to walk out on the job, because they were incompetent cowboys! I have supplied all the proof to D&G with photos and full description of events. I even got an a personal email from their CEO Mr Crummack, but after 6 weeks D&G have done absolutely nothing. D&G have not even had the courtesy to apologise and make a call to me, this is how arrogant they are. Clearly when it comes to collecting premiums they are very efficient and know exactly how to collect money. I had also copied both CEO's of the business including AO's Mr Roberts but clearly, it seems that they have no authority to make their staff deal with these matters in a prompt and on time. It's been over 7 weeks now and neither have bothered to update me or deal with the damage, despite taking full responsibility. If senior board members of these billion pound companies have no respect for their customers, then how will the staff below the ladder respect customers! Even an email from the CEO Mr Crummack has been completely disregarded by the staff at D&G, absolutely NO credibility, even for the boss of the business, is indeed a shameful position to be in!

Don’t waste your time insuring your fridge freezer with D&G who represent Whirlpool, they are the biggest con artists around. I've been paying a insurance premium with then for 15 years and the current yearly sum is £309.00. Unfortunately, our FF stopped working and unfortunately it cannot be repaired because it’s using old non-compliant gas, fair enough. Sadly, what they wanted to replace our GREAT AMANA FF with was not even a Whirlpool product but we were given a choice of the cheapest manufacturers available. NOT the same quality or SPECIFICATIONS as per their terms and condition. So we wanted a cash settlement so that we could buy a better quality FF. So, for the yearly premium of £309.00 they would only give us £505.52 for a FF that would actually cost in the region of £3.5k.

So, I will be cancelling every other insurance policy I have with D&G and be putting the money in the bank towards anything that need replacing in the future. Thus, saving me the aggravation of having to talk to one of the most officious persons I have every come across working in CUSTOMER SERVICES!!!!!

A year ago I took out a policy to cover my washing machine. D&G recently decided that it couldn't be repaired so a similar replacement would be made. I had a choice of machines and decided to pay extra to get an upgrade. This machine was delivered on Monday and was very quick service but the machine delivered certainly was no where near similar to the old one. Very basic model. I contacted D&G earlier and their response was they don't match on functionality just colour and spin speed! I am now left with a machine that has a quick wash at 30 and all other programs take over 2 hours, not able to tell how long a wash will take and a timer delay that can only do 3,6 and 9 hours. Absolutely rubbish.

Reclamamos un robot CECOTEC comprado en mediamarkt de 228€ por no functionar bien por su seguro de 3 años (39€).

Después de devolverlo nos envían OTRO robot totalmente rayado y agujereado??? Según el plan "este funciona bastante bien, está rayado mas de lo normal pero a lo mejor no se dan cuenta"

Pues si ya que no es difícil ver que es OTRO robot.

Pero ahora viene lo mejor: Por supuesto lo devolvemos directamente de nuevo y ahora nos dicen que el seguro no cubre por mal uso...o os estáis riendo de la gente o como se puede entender esto?

Parece ser mas un fraude total ya que no solamente ofrecen seguros sino que su "red de servicios técnicos oficiales se extiende a lo largo de Europa, Reino Unido, y Australia" haha os reís en la cara de la gente sinvergüenzas.

No queda otra que denunciarles y meterles caña...

Nunca mas 39€ por un seguro que no sirve para nada, reclamaciones sin fin y 2 meses sin robot...!

A través de Mediamarkt al comprar una TV pagué una ampliación de garantia hasta los 5 años.Ahora he tenido un problema con la tv y llamo a la compañia. Me asignan un taller de reparación y que me llamarán. Se ponen en contacto conmigo y me dicen que su taller de reparación está en Malaga, a 1000km de donde yo vivo.
En fin, no voy a mandar la tv y nunca más comprar algo en Mediamarkt porque esto es un engaño

Big scam don't join this company they will take your money not fix or replace when your machine is out of order will push it to the point that all they want to do is rebook another engineer for an appliance they have had to try and fix over and over again to avoid the spending any money on you while trying to make you feel you are being taken care of but they are really taking care of the lb that they take from you and give you no service I have my machine here not working had so many call-out visit and it's still not working put me through to customer services only that they are on the other line trying to cut me off pressing buttons big bleep going through my ears so I'm shouting through the phone if you want me to hang up just say so this is disgusting the way they treat me I'm going to try and get my machine out of them and I am going to cancel all of my policies I've been saying it for a very long time because the service has not improved why give them all your money and they don't fix you up up fix cam they weren't so bad at least 5 years ago but now they are terrible the service is gone from bad to worse

Been with domestic and general for years always been happy until my American fridge freezer broke last week and ever since then they have had me running around in circles on hold for hours on end! They are rude and dishonest and have now taken £69 from my bank as an upgrade on a new product that has never been ordered and are refusing to help me in any way! Absolutely disgusting I will be cancelling all of my policies with them 🤬🤬

Been with DG over 10 years, they honour their contracts and their service is one of the best for reapirs and replacements, in fact we never insure with any one else, as long as you insure your product with the the Manufacturer warranty period they even cover it for future accidental damage and loss no matter what!

You dont have to insure everything but make sure if you have spent a lot of money, get it insured as products are no longer made as they were, especially if you are buying a cheaper brand, and make sure you have full cover by insuring within the expiry of the manufacturer warranty, they also replace and value replacements very fairly and will allow you to upgrade by making extra payments..

I have paid for years insurance on my washing machine so when it broke down wasn't particularly worried as felt certain domestic and general would get it fixed . Firstly I had to wait over a week for an engineer to come out . When he eventually came he said straight away needs a part it's expensive so d+g will have to decide whether to replace or repair . After phoning every day for 5days I was told it would be repaired but the company doing the work couldn't get the part . I tried every day to get through to d+g to sort this out but kept getting out on hold . I held on twice for over an hour and nobody answered . After over two weeks without a washing machine I am going to have to buy a new one myself and all those years of paying insurance was wasted money . Don't touch them with a barge poll. The customer service a times was appalling and couldn't get to speak to anyone else . I had 3other appliances insured with them but I have now cancelled them and so has my sister and friend after my experience which is still going on now

Seguro nefasto.
No lo recomiendo a nadie, no contrates este seguro por favor, no se puede ser más incompetente y el trato con el cliente es malo y desagradable pq te hacen llamar miles d veces para preguntar por tu electrodoméstico. Mi caso fue con un televisor, el cual puse en conocimiento el siniestro el 13 de agosto y estamos a 30 de septiembre y aún no me lo han devuelto. He llamado no se cuantas veces y siempre te dicen 72 horas y así llevo más de un mes sin q nadie me haga caso. Ya me siento quemada, por favor no contrateis el seguro, lo peor q vi nunca en compañías de seguro.
