Exemplary Customer Service over the phone, with the product to back it up. Unique wine selections each month with an informative zine. Been subscribed on and off due to travel commitments but the team has always been great overseeing the subscription. Including the fantastic Sammy who helped me most recently! When I'm back in the UK they'll be sending to me again 🙌🍾

A lovely chap on the end of the phone really understanding and listen to everything I had to say. Built a great relationship with me from me off I would highly recommend this company.

This organisation is worth avoiding. After signing up for a free case of wine on a voucher I received from another organisation I received 3 indifferent bottles of wines with fancy labels. I was not impressed with the quality or value for money, even though I'd only paid £9 postage!
So I looked at their confirmation email which stated "... if you wish to opt out, we won't make it difficult. You can unsubscribe here."
The font used is very small, and I misread this as unsubscribing from the service, but, of course, it was only from their emails. Thinking about it, the phrase "we won't make it difficult" seemed to suggest that this was more than a simple email unsubscribe. Legally defensible, of course, but a tiny bit tricky.
Subsequently I have now unexpectedly received another 3 bottles and been charged accordingly. I have accepted this.
Returning to their website, however, I found that it was extremely convoluted to try and leave the service, with no less that 7 screens offering me inducements to stay. This ultimately ended up in a screen telling me that, to cancel, I needed to phone an Edinburgh number. On phoning this number, and waiting for a protracted period on hold I gave up and opted to send a formally worded email cancelling by subscription, and putting a block on further payments with my bank. Incidentally my bank mentioned that mine was not the first case of a customer wishing to block this organisation's payment requests. What does that tell us?
Subsequently I did get through on the phone, and after a further long wait I succeeded in cancelling. The agent I spoke to even admited that their cancellation process is very convoluted. So the whole experience has left bad taste. I suggest avoiding this outfit.

Spoke with Lewis made everything easy and straightforward. Down to earth and will most likely return due to my customer experience. A credit to the company

WARNING: unethical Business stealing you money even after cancelling your subscription.

I cancelled my subscription end of Feb. This month it went off again so i call them, Furious, at 9:52 Friday (27 March). I was told order was already processed and can it cant be atop nor can i be refunded. I did not order this and yet Wine52/Beer52 unethically stealing my money forcing me to pay so something i did not want not ordered!

21:11 Friday night i received notification that the order is being dispatched. You REALLY wanna tell me the order could not be cancelled!!!! I have proof of everything.

I will warn people every day till i get my refund!

I initially wanted to cancel because I barely could fit the time in to finish my previous deliveries. I called in and was given an option that was not actually visible on the website. Amy managed to explain everything and advised me of the options that I could have which was to pause my account for some time and then get back into the goodies with my £10 voucher applied to my next box.
