Poor customer service in Broadgate Circle store on 1 June.
I purchased a pair of trousers from Whistles' in Bath on 28 May, where the staff were excellent. Unfortunately, after wearing the trousers for the first time on Friday morning, I discovered that the back seam was unstitched, leaving a large hole. This was extremely disappointing given the £90 price point and the quality I expect from Whistles. It also caused significant inconvenience, as I was out for the day and had to detour to change.
I returned the trousers to the Broadgate Circle store with my receipt on 1 June, simply asking to exchange them for a pair without a fault. Despite clearly explaining the issue, I felt I was treated with suspicion and contempt. Staff discussed the issue loudly, including one staff member calling across the store that “this lady has a hole in her trousers” and shes seemed to have an issue that they were bought in Bath store.
I was then asked whether I had worn the trousers, which I confirmed—this being how I discovered the fault—an interaction aggressive. After further back-and-forth, I was asked whether I wanted the trousers “sent off to be fixed,” which I declined, as a new £90 garment should not have a defective seam. Eventually, the exchange was agreed.
While the staff member who completed the exchange was pleasant, the initial handling of the situation was poor and left me feeling uncomfortable and unfairly questioned. This was not the level of customer service I expect from Whistles, particularly when returning a clearly faulty item within days of purchase.
The service I received contrasted sharply with the excellent service I received in Bath and detracted from what should have been a straightforward resolution.

Very disappointing.
i ordered Alana ivory jumpsuit in petite but the item delivered was a normal size 12 and it swamped me .
it was also marked and the package had been torn open.
Such a shame as i loved it .

Great service in Reigate Whistles today - - whilst trying on new trousers I found a tiny unsewn part of a pocket - meaning it had a small hole - the manager quickly offered for this to be repaired - on the spot - which was perfectly done in only 10 mins. Thank you to all in store for a great shopping experience

I ordered the Lea linen jacket, and it arrived today Saturday but without the belt! It also had marked wrinkles on the sleeves, typical of a jacket that has been used.
I sent them an email, and the reply I got says that they will be in touch with me in 3-5 days - not good enough!
I tried phoning them, nothing. But this being a Saturday, there is no one in the office except for a virtual assistant called, Lucille, who on the chat kept apologising for the wait. It seems the business is run by AI on weekends!
Eventually, what appeared to be a human replied and told me to send pictures. I said I am not going to waste my precious time doing that (a picture of the non-existent belt and the wrinkly sleeves?). Then he/she said that I had to return the item and they would replace it. This means going to a Post Office, queing and so on. Time = Money
In any case, they cannot replace the jacket, as they are now out of stock!
Hence, I resorted to Trust Pilot…

I ordered a dress for a business meeting yesterday. I paid for next day delivery which meant it would arrive on Thursday but it arrived on Friday afternoon after I had gone to the meeting. Why do you offer next day delivery and then it just doesn’t happen. I trust my postage will be refunded you did not mention this

I ordered a jumpsuit for a party I was going to and paid for next day deliver to ensure I got it in time. (I had previously paid for next day delivery and they did not deliver next day).
When I opened the jumpsuit the belt was missing from it. I immediately contacted customer services but it was a weekend and they did not get back to me. I had no choice but to purchase a new belt (no way you could wear it without one). Customer services got back to me a few days later and asked me to return the jump suit. I asked if they could just send the belt but a few said passed again and said they didn’t have a belt but would offer me a 10% discount. I said that wasn’t really sufficient and that 20% would be appropriate. Another few days passed and they offered 15%. I reluctantly accepted and since then have heard nothing! I have sent a further 6/7 emails and they have not acknowledged nor responded and no refund. This really is unacceptable customer service. I feel inclined now not to accept the offer at all since they haven’t responded and just return the jumpsuit and get a full refund. But as they are not responding to me it’s just impossible. Such poor and rude service. I will not use again.
UPDATE- I STILL HAVENT HAD A RESPONSE FROM WHISTLES AND HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE REFUND. APPALLING.
**FURTHER UPDATE** I cannot reply so I’m updating my post. I was offered a refund of 15% which I reluctantly accepted. I haven’t received the refund nor any response to my emails. What is going on?
FURTHER FURTHER UPDATE - I have contacted the customer care team but they do not respond!!! Please can you get this sorted ASAP

I saw a dress I wanted but store didn’t have my size.
I called St Christopher Place store and they were so helpful.
Paid for the dress and they sent to to me the same day. It arrived 24 hours later, having been carefully packed.
The dress is perfect, the service I received was above and beyond.

I was served by Tracy in Farnham and she was absolutely fab!!
I am still finding my way after having a baby and Tracy was so helpful and supportive with finding me my size. I ended up purchasing a jumpsuit for my return to work after my maternity leave and I feel amazing in it. She also entertained our baby whilst I tried some other outfits on which helped me feel less pressured and I could take my time.
Amazing experience and I will be back soon hopefully!

I had a query about a return which was beyond the usual time allowance. The chat bot quickly moved me to a human assistant. Kay was really helpful and, after clarifying my issue she very quickly came back to me and resolved the problem.

Ordered a pair of Koki lace up white trainers in March. When they arrived they had a blue mark on them so I had to order another pair and send the faulty ones back. The new ones arrived and have another blue mark on them. You would think they would check stock before it’s sent out.
