We used Bubble for both hourly childcare and to source a permanent nanny for our children. The app is easy to use and payment is safe and easy. The permanent sourcing service is excellent - vetting great candidates so we didn't have to interview loads and really taking the time to understand what we are looking for. Great experience!

My first time using Bubble after being recommended by several friends and I must say I was super impressed.
The app is easy to use and it’s so great that you can see friends sitters as well so it doesn’t feel like you’re using randoms.
We needed a last minute sitter and got instant requests and a fantastic sitter.

The worst app and not reliable. The sitter cancelled two hours before the sit so I needed to cancel my work for the whole day. I have been in touch with the customer support but they did nothing and just kept protecting the sitter. This was not the first time someone said they had a stomachache so wanted to cancel last minute. If you do not mind taking the risk that someone will cancel two hours before the sit then please use them. The other app is much better and more reliable. Oh and they gave me a £15 “goodwill” credit to make up for it haha what a joke.

Used bubble a couple times already and so far I have only ever had one bad experience which wasn’t bubble’s fault by the way, hence why I put 5 stars. I’d recommend booking with the babysitter who already have a couple good reviews and repeat families to ensure a good experience and for peace of mind especially when you are an anxious parent like me.
Bubble’s customer support is very good too, I was listened and offered options when I sent them my complaint regarding a booking so overall very good experience !

Tianna the sitter was excellent

I really enjoy this app, its really useful when looking for childcare and pet care. You quite simply submitt a request then sitters apply, you can also select sitters that you like to respond. I like that the sitters have a vetting process too and are DBS cleared. The only thing I'd recommend for the app design team is that we are able to expand out notes without having the need to edit them to see what we had originally put.

BUBBLE app remains painfully slow and keeps freezing on me, which is really off-putting. I complained to the Help team through the app on severaloccasions, explaining the impact it has on me as a parent user, and it has never been resolved. The lady reply I received from the team was: "noone else has raised it before" which isn't hugely helpful, just leaves in me in growing frustration, and I'm not going to change my phone because of this!
