Scam!!!!!
Was given a gift from my Temu order of a bottle of whisky and beer, all I needed to do was pay for postage. NOT THE CASE.
To get to the payment you have to go through all the terms and conditions and unaware to me SUBSCRIBE!!
So by paying for postage Wisky 52 now has me in a contract that send me unwanted whisky and beer!! I do not drink!!! I gave the gift away to a friend.
I informed the company I was unaware of subscription and requested to return the unwanted whisky and beers.
To my astonishment they do not accept returns even though the boxes have not been opened and securely boxed.
I requested my issue be escalated to management however same response of no return.
I informed that £70.00 came out my account and was aside for my electricity bill!! I am retired and do not have £70.00 per month to spend is alcohol of which I do not want.
No food for me this month.
Very unhelpful employees.

As part of your becoming a member of this exclusive club, the information detailing the subscription element was provided to you at each stage during sign-up. We also sent you our "Welcome to the Club" email immediately after completing your purchase. This email was sent to your registered email address and detailed your next billing date and cost. Additionally, your billing information and renewal date are always accessible at any time through the ‘Manage My Subscription’ section of your online account.
You must cancel your subscription before your billing date. You can contact us by phone on 0131 285 2684, via Facebook Messenger or via our helpdesk https://www.beer52.com/helpCentre/home. If this was not done then at that stage we cannot offer a refund as the order has already been processed to our warehouse.

No option to cancel your subscription without calling them. This will be illegal from 2027. They might want to get on that and get with the times.

We are aware of upcoming changes to the DMCC Act that may come into effect later in 2026, and, as always, we'll ensure towedhere is compliant with all that is required. We do ask customers to give us a quick call if they want to cancel, not to make it difficult, but to make sure they haven’t missed anything special included in their first box, what's coming next, or that there isn’t an easier option for them. Often it’s just a matter of timing or frequency, and a quick chat can sort it out. And if it’s still not right for them, we’re always happy to cancel.

Really great and efficient customer…
Really great and efficient customer service received when I called to cancel my subscription and close my account. I was only on the call for a total of 4 minutes and the waiting time to speak to an actual person was very short.

Having subscribed to other drinks clubs…
Having subscribed to other drinks clubs i didn't feel that this was good value for money , other clubs have supplied full 75cl bottles but this is a half bottle , other clubs also included additional associated goodies .
It was not easy to cancel superscription i had to ring to to organise this , the chap i spoke to was very helpfull once i got through .
The whisky itself was good

Our products are of the highest quality and we offer many products that aren't available elsewhere, we produce a monthly magazine that customers enjoy reading, Our magazines for our products are included in every box and give our customers a wealth of knowledge on how we source our products, how our producers make their products as well as wonderful stories about the region they are produced in the stories behind their breweries, vineyards and distilleries.
Our boxes not only include our beers, wines, whiskies or coffee, but we also offer a quick postal service and our product magazine in every box of whisky as well as amazing offers to use and share with family & friends. Our subscriptions are discovery clubs where our customers can choose to enjoy new and wonderful products every month, bi, or tri-monthly and of course, can cancel at any time should they wish to. We are sorry our prices may not be within budget for everyone all of the time but we of course try our best to balance our cost and supply prices as best we can.

Great products, Great Service
The clear communication from the team when I called to cancel was really appreciated, not only that, but they convinced me to stay on for another month to try the next product which they were very knowledgable about and enthusiastic in their belief it would be worth continuing the subscription (it was) and were still very considerate when I called to cancel after the following product had been enjoyed. Theres is a booklet within the subscription which provides incredible insight into the distilleries and processes the products undergo while highlighting other compatible items from the same distillery. The service and products are fantastic with a manageable price point, very much worth it.

Horrendous company
Horrendous company. I was a member for three months. The firs tmonth was fine. Month two the bottle arrived without a lid, a soaked box and magazine. Month three the package was left outside and stolen. Whisky52 were not willing to resolve the issue until I advised that I'd be contacting my bank to get a refund. For £35 per month I could easily buy a reasonable whisky myself rather than living with the hope that it arrives in one piece.
EDIT ON THE BACK OF THE RESPONSE:
Prompt replacements were not sent. The first problem delivery you said you'd need to carry out an investigation which you. Found extremely offensive as it felt like you were accusing me of lying, despite photographic evidence, and the second problem delivery no replacement was offered until I said I was going to get my bank to claw back the payment. I gave yous three options, send a replacement and give feedback to I post, send me a refund or if gety bank to refund it. My email was ignored so I initiated the bank refund since I hadn't received my product and yous then closed my axpxunt, which is fine by me as long as I get my refund as I AM NOT willing to be robbed by yourselves.

love these guys, awesome deals. as someone who condemns AI and the taking of jobs, i love the fact i have to call up to cancel and get to talk to an actual person. just chatted w Glenn, sound guy. AI is taking over, it’s so easy to train AI over actually paying people to work on the calls, but 52 are doing it!!! oh yeaaaa i love to see it.

I like the idea, but I'm a bit picky about my whiskeys. After receiving the first one I cancelled via the phone number, which was actually one of the nicest customer service experience I've ever had.
