I don’t understand why they only have 3.2. Clothes are great. Easy returns. 28 days grace. Credit account. Reminders if you forget to pay. What more could you want?

For the first time disappointed
For the first time, I’m extremely disappointed with Simply Be/JD Williams. When my parcel arrived, the inside of the bag was covered in some sort of unknown substance. It had what I believe was a vanilla smell. Thankfully, all the items were in their protective packaging except for my pink Adidas hoodie, which was open. Fortunately, no liquid stains had gotten onto the hoodie. However, my Puma pants did have the liquid on them, so I put them in the wash.
Upon removing them from the washing machine, I realised they were the wrong pants that had been sent to me. I ordered wide-leg joggers with the Puma label at the top, but I received Puma leggings with the brand label at the bottom. I realised after washing them that it was too late to return them. I was indeed concerned about the substance so I cleaned up as fast as I could as I do have a dog and didn’t want him to ingest anything.
I’m not sure what the liquid substance was, but I was not impressed. I’m also unhappy about being sent the wrong item, which caused me to wash them in the first place, as I didn’t know whether Simply Be/JD Williams would accept a return or if I would be blamed. Now I have a pair of Puma leggings that I did not order, and I am still paying for them.
Wrong item delivered
I ordered a lovely dress (first time order with this company) When it arrived, a completely different item (shirt) was given to me. The shirt was placed in a bag clearly labelled with the barcode & name/description of the dress? How has that managed to bypass quality control if that's such a thing? Now I have the inconvenience of returning the incorrect garment otherwise I'll be charged for it.
To be fair, SimplyBe has arranged next-day delivery on a newly ordered dress. Hoping it arrives with what I ordered this time!
Awful customer service
Awful customer service. I sent a faulty item back, and they returned it to me as it was over 28 since I’d received it. This is despite already contacting them about the faulty item, and being advised to return it for a refund. This has been going on for months now, and I am still no closer to a resolution.

Contacted customer service who kept sending generic instructions for how to arrange a return which wouldn't work!

BAD beyond comprehension ! SCAMMERS !
Received a freezer from them on the 9th of January- called them to return it, 5 minutes after receiving it as it was a LOT SMALLER than advertised , NOT AS DESCRIBED ! Ever since then, today is 16th , i called them 4 times and filled in their RETURN FORM online 4 times as well ! NOTHING HAPPENS !!! Online sends anautomated email saying someone wil contact me- NOBODYDOES ! .. .and on the phone, they apollogise and say the same- someone will contact me- NOBODY DOES !!!
ALSO - they have NO COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE ! i think that is ILLEGAL in the UK ???
So... what now ???????????
They ignore me and do not collect this , back !!!PS- *** Reported them to Trading Standards today-16th of January but that won't refund my money !!!
UPDATE - 28th January -- STILL NOT COLLECTED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They keep me in a loop saying they will arrange collection within the next 2-3 days but nothing happens !!-----

Dreadful service when they get it wrong
Ordered a coat waited several days when the order arrived it was a pair of trousers that I hadn’t ordered NO coat. Included in the package was an invoice for my coat but it wasn’t included . Tried ringing to advise no answer after 15 mins . Sent 2 emails no answer . Left it a few days still nothing . So rang again and spoke to a very helpful person who sorted out a refund ( no coat though) and I’ll see if that materialises . I then had to print out a label to return the trousers I hadn’t even ordered and then wait for Evrie to collect . I was told if I did not return the trousers I would be charged for them. Ridiculous given they would not know what trousers were in the parcel to know how much to charge me .

I’ve used SimplyBe in the past however I will not be shopping with them again after my last order. Paid for my parcel to be shipped to my local post office for collection. They use EVRi as a courier. This is their biggest downfall. Placed order on 7/8 December 2025 and is expected to arrive within the week. However 3 weeks pass and EVRi track is giving no new updates since 10/12. EVRi stopped replying to my emails so I took the matter to Simply Be. Initially they were helpful and I recieved a full refund for lost in transit. My issues have arrived since. Apparently on 8 January 2026. 1 whole month after ordering my parcel arrived at the post office. I was informed if I receive my parcel that I will be recharged so I was aware. I went to go and collect it and shock it’s not there. The lad checked under my maiden name and my married name and once I explained the issues I had with the parcel he explained the delivery person must have logged it as here but not dropped it off. Slightly disappointed but knowing I wouldn’t be recharged for something I don’t have and with the refund already been issued it wasn’t a big deal. I left empty handed. Almost a week has passed and this morning I receive an email saying your parcel was delivered so we’re recharging. I’ve explained no I haven’t got my parcel. Shown proof it’s not been collected and stated what the guy at the post office suggested. Simply Be is not a cheap store so being charged large amounts of money for a parcel I have not recieved and cannot receive is just atrocious. The ridiculous long delay with no explanation, the fact it never actually came anyway and yet I’ve been recharged is disgusting. I will never ever ever shop at simply be again and will be advising my friends and colleagues that they do the same.

Terrible customer service!!! I have tried to contact Simple Be via Facebook messenger, then called in and they told me to email after being on hold for 20 minutes, I then emailed in and got no response. I then joined the online
Chat and was in the queue from 11.30am - 7pm and then they shut so was kicked off! Had to rejoin the next day and they did not help at all. I was told I could return the item and have the messages in writing confirming this but I am now (after 2 months of trying to contact them) being told I can’t return the item. Do not recommend this company and their terrible customer service. Have wasted so much of my time
And money on this.
