Avoid this company at all costs. Absolutely awful.
I have been a customer of Simply Be for a long time and never had any major issues until recently. I placed an order on April 29th only to be notified days later that it had been cancelled without any reason. I then noticed my credit limit had been removed without explanation. I contacted their customer service on chat and they were useless. I waited another week for someone to send me an email but it was just a load of nonsense about credit scores which doesn’t relate to me because my score is good. I was assured that my credit score had been restored and I could place the order again with 10% off. However, the very same day the order was cancelled again and my credit score disappeared again.
I contacted them and even put in a formal complaint, but they have given me the runaround for nearly a week. The email I received today was the final straw going on about credit scores and checking people out when they place an order, but not actually offering me any help. So, I have now requested my account to be closed and I advise anyone thinking of signing up with this company not to bother unless you want to go through the same hassle.

I collected a dress at selected shop on 3rd April and returned it as was not suitable on 6th April email from shop also from Evri say they have the parcel and are returning it back to simply b as I have not received refund I have phone customer service 6 times also sent them copies of emails and telling me I need a tracking number which I gave them and they are saying the number wrong as it was the one when I received it and need another that I just cannot get so goodbye £54 my last time I shop with them
Order cancelled after full payment with no clear explanation
I placed an order with Simply Be and paid in full, only to receive an email shortly afterwards saying my order had been cancelled because it “didn't meet our internal requirements”. There was no clear explanation of what this actually means or what the issue was.
Overall, the lack of transparency around why the order was cancelled, has left me with a poor impression of Simply Be’s ordering and payment process.

monthly payment never goes down when interest rates fall. They won't accept a payment on a certain day of the month like a credit card. They are hard to talk to via email. I would never recommend this company to anyone even their sister company JDWilliams is just as bad

Absolute joke ordered a suitcase for daughter birthday on 7 th May should have been delivered on Friday 15th. No sign of this and upon calling them today I’ve been told that they have escalated to their support team who will respond within 3 working days. Sent a *letter* a week late saying order was out of stock
I ordered an occasion dress, that was definitely in stock according to the product page, on Monday. I didn’t get any correspondence for the whole week from Simplybe following my initial order. Then yesterday (Saturday), they sent me a *letter* informing me the dress I ordered was out of stock. What company in this day and age sends a bloody letter to inform you that your order was cancelled? I could’ve been informed of this via email of text far quicker but instead they sent me a letter nearly a week later. I was assuming I’d have the dress after waiting nearly a week for it so now I’ve lost out and am scrambling around last minute.
This is genuinely shocking customer service and I won’t be risking spending any money with them ever again. I still can’t get over the fact they sent a letter in the post nearly a week after I ordered! All their 1 star reviews are totally justified and I encourage customers to think before ordering from Simplybe, take your money elsewhere to a company that’s trustworthy and reliable.
Don’t expect anything from Simply Be
This company has no heart. I have been very badly treated by them. Ordered a dress next day delivery for my son’s wedding party. It didn’t arrive for over a week and was too late. The package had been damaged in transit, so I didn’t open it in case it was damaged. I explained and sent photos. I explained I no longer wanted it. They wanted me to return it at my own cost and IF they felt it was damaged they would replace it although I no longer wanted it. The only thing they did was refund the £1 extra I paid for next day delivery. Heartless company.

Ordered 3 pieces of furniture from the same range. Built the bookcase and it was so wobbly and the cupboard doors were basically in separate postcodes. On that basis I did not want to keep the bookcase or the other 2 items so arranged to send them back. It's been 4 weeks and counting and I am still waiting for the final item to be collected to be returned. I have been trying to liaise with Simply Be but their returns team don't speak to anyone by phone, only email so I have to wait days inbetween each correspondence only to be asked 'have they been collected?' Honestly the most exhausting and frustrating experience. Given the time it's taking to actually get items collected I am now well out of the returns period but being told by email that I need to use the returns portal...which I cannot do because the order is out of the returns period. When I finally am given a date for Evri to collect the parcel it's not collected. I am now on collection date 2 and quelle surprise....it's not been collected. This is the 4th time I've taken it out of the shed to leave out to get home from work to find it hasn't been collected and put it back in the shed. I honestly do not know what to do. Absolute shambles. Customer service is awful and unhelpful
Incorrect order and NO customer service
After receiving the incorrect order (I was ordering a wedding guest dress) and received completely the wrong order. They wanted me to reorder pay postage for a second time, not honouring the discount I received the first time because their system would not permit it. Instead they wanted me to over pay the second time to refund postage and the discount after I'd received the dress. Showing me they took no accountability for their error not care about me and my custom. I feel so strongly about this that I will never use them again!!!!!

I like the products but customer service is appalling and they haven't given me my money back. I purchased some trousers under the impression they were 32r, they were in fact 32 r. I am size 14. I asked for a refund. You said i could return to asda. I took it to asda. I could not return it via asda because it was a ‘for you’ parcel. I asked for an alternative method of return. Your staff could not find my request despite an order number, item number, address, name, account number and are still refusing to help. I asked for my issue to be escalated. It was not. I asked it to be logged as a complaint it was not. I still haven't recieved my refund. Customer service has been rude and is breach of the law.

Shocking customer service! Simply Be seriously need to improve the competence of their advisors. I've just spent an hour trying to discuss a problem with a discount. I was promised it by an advisor once the order had been dispatched. On contacting them again a couple of days later, the advisor told me I could not have the discount! When the advisor read the notes, after I asked to speak to a manager, she suddenly decided that it did say on the notes that the discount should be applied. The discount came through the post, saying we've missed you! But there was NO EXPIRY DATE! This is sharp practice! All of this began because the website was so glitchy that it wouldn't let me put in my address, never mind the discount code! Seriously, Simply Be? Sort out your website! Make chat quicker nearly an hour is not acceptable. And sort out your advisors too! Tell them to read the notes already on the file!

Awful customer service
Unfortunately their customer service is awful. Can't call with out being charged and if you go on live chat you need at least an hour spare to actually get any sort of action from them. First time ordering from here and it will be the last. Awful company. Oh and I haven't received my item as the courier has lost it and the fight I had to put up to get a refund was a joke!

Would have given zero stars if allowed. Customer service is diabolical. 3 parcel have gone missing in transit after paying next day delivery for all? When calling they have said it will take 5 days to investigate and a further 5 days to refund. When refunded no delivery charge back even though no parcels received? Quick enough to take money from my account but not refund at the same speed.
Spend your money elsewhere!
And it gets worse. They have now charged me twice and the first refund for a lost parcel is still pending. Avoid at all costs. Customer service is appalling.
Shocking service
Very hard to gain a resolution to my questions. I made complaints - email was responded to and I was informed it would be resolved in 8 weeks!! I have a zero balance on my account but I can’t use the account. I have never experienced the total lack of customer care before!
