Red Letter voucher purchased experience unavailable in UK!
Red Letter voucher purchased but when tried to use it all the dates where booked up. So the car experience was not available anywhere in the UK. We then transferred it to a pub voucher, and the day before the restuarant booking, they phoned and said they no longer accepted Red Letter Vouchers. The expiry date was 3 days later. So the large valued voucher was lost. Totally worthless. DONT BOTHER

I have had several difficulties in actually booking and using the red letter day website, however after speaking with agent Nokuthembela via live chat everything was resolved in a very timely manner and sorted out, helping me to go from feeling quite stressed (as i was booking a gift for someone else) to having everything done in a couple of minutes, leaving me a happy customer :-)

Whilst the person I dealt with was…too rushed
Whilst the person I dealt with was helpful, they rushed me too much, obviously they have deadlines, but I was really confused and they confused me more by not explaining fully what I should do, couldn't do, would be able to do... The end result was helpful, but I did have to ask them to slow down, which they eventually did.

Do not bother with Red Letter Days.
Do not bother with Red Letter Days.
I was given a voucher worth £144, then paid an extra £6 to upgrade it to a £150 Red Letter Days voucher for an overnight stay for two with dinner, bed and breakfast.
The reality is completely different. Once you receive the voucher, you are given a choice of hotels, but almost none of the decent hotels are actually covered by the voucher. You are then expected to pay a surcharge, often up to £200 extra, just to get a room — and in many cases this only includes breakfast, with dinner no longer included despite what the voucher suggests.
To make matters worse, when you check the hotel’s own website, the rooms are often cheaper than booking through Red Letter Days. So you are not getting a deal, a discount, or any added value.
If someone wants to buy you a Red Letter Days voucher, they would be far better off simply giving you the money towards a hotel booking. You will have more choice, pay less, and avoid the restrictions and extra charges.
I genuinely do not understand what benefit Red Letter Days provides. The experience feels misleading, poor value, and far more complicated than it needs to be. Save your money and book directly with the hotel instead.

The gift of a Red Letter Day made my Birthday special. The Gin and jive cruise from Poole Quay was fabulous, The weather was great((2nd September 2026) Everything went to plan,the staff were great and the live music was amazing. Boarding the vessel with a complimentary glass of Gin and mixer was a nice way to start our leisurely sightseeing trip around poole Harbour and the islands.

Reinstated voucher
Hi, I had misplaced a voucher I got as birthday present. It was expired over 2 years. I could not to extend it, but after I contacted customer service it was reinstated with deduction.
I am very happy with solution as I still can get something after far away from expiry date.
