What a welcoming place……
I recently attended a morning visit with residents. What an amazing place Homestead Place is. Pleasant gardens and ample parking. The staff were so helpful with any questions we had on the day and were very accommodating. The Manager Sam was an absolute delight with a very friendly manner whilst being professional. The residents clearly felt at ease with her and it was clear to see that she had a very hands on approach.

Gyle Court, Edinburgh 10/10
I am in Gyle Court, Edinburgh moving in when still a fit 84 year old who was not enjoying her big old family home, isolated , friends dying and family inevitably busy with their own careers. Gyle Court for me, is excellent. I am warm, safe, comfortable, have everything I need to hand, helpful friendly staff, lots of activities on site and the company of fellow residents when wanted. Essential shops across the road, very nice gardens, walks in all directions, buses at the door, car park in the grounds. The decor in the public areas is spacious , attractive and comfortable, like a smart hotel. In our own apartments, we are completely independent, quiet and well insulated from noise. Right move, right time for me. 10/10. Thank you.

A wonderful move to Glenhills Court!
Moving can be incredibly stressful, but my experience transitioning both my Dad and Aunt to McCarthy Stone's Glenhills Court was an absolute breeze. From start to finish, it has been an incredibly easy and seamless process.
The apartments themselves are beautiful—bright, modern, thoughtfully designed, and instantly felt like home.
What truly sets this place apart, however, is the incredible team. The staff here regularly go above and beyond to help out with anything you need. A special mention must go to the manager, Rugi, whose dedication and warmth ensure that everyone is well looked after. The entire team delivers a fantastic, friendly service every single day.
I couldn't have asked for a better experience and highly recommend Glenhills Court to anyone considering the move!

Everything You Could Want!
I recently stayed in the guest room at the McCarthy and Stone complex, Whitaker Grange, Osset. What can I say, other than it was utter perfection. Julie Ford, the duty manager on the night I was there - And Dawn Hines was the Care Support Worker. I made a special effort to get their names as they need to be singled out for how they went over and above their duty to ensure that I had the most comfortable and relaxing stay. I cannot thank them and recommend them enough. All round, a truly terrific experience.

Caesers Place Godalming in Surrey
Caesers Place Godalming in Surrey is located close to the town railway station and on a good bus route. It is comparatively small compared to other McCarthy Stone sites with 31 apartments. It is well maintained and serviced under the supervision of the excellent House Manager. The residents arrange coffee mornings normally once a week and other social events are arranged a few times a month. Joining in with these events is entirely optional - there is always a good friendly atmosphere. In all a good place to retire.

Benefits available
I went to a McCarthy & Stone development presentation and part of the talks given was by the Entitlements officer (Aleks Clayton). Aleks outlined a benefit I was completely unaware of called Attendance Allowance. A brief chat after the talks suggested that my limited mobility issues might qualify and Aleks committed to send me the 30 plus page DWP form. I had a go at completing it and sent it to Aleks for review and she helped me to put it into the type of descriptive language DWP understood. Long story short the application was successful and I am now in receipt of this benefit that just a few weeks ago I didn't know even existed.
I really can't praise Aleks enough and McCarthy & Stone for having the foresight to offer this service within their more obvious sales and rentals.

I bought my apartment in Edenbridge…
I bought my apartment at Eadhelm Court, Edenbridge last year. The paperwork was difficult but once moved in, the ease of living for dissabled is very good. Everything is thought of and made accessible. The manager is there for any queries and is very helpful. The maintenance fee is reasonable for what is included. I would recommend this area as near all local facilities.
