Braidburn Court strides forward
I cannot speak to highly enough of Imelda our terrific House Manager. She has brought new life to our community organising musical events, cheese and wine parties, carpet bowling, a cream tea for Wimbledon. Imelda established a fresh Events Committee, Easter Bonnet competition, Valentine’s display and Quiz nights. With her help the Events Committee are planning a get together at Christmas and we hope to have many repeat events encouraged by our Events Committee and positive input from Imelda.
Imelda has transitioned exceptionally well with the transition from our previously House Manager, although some Home Owners have been a bit difficult. Imelda quietly refuses to be beaten !!!

Sarah, Uplands place.
Sarah, the manager at Uplands place in Cambourne is just amazing! The apartments are lovely and all the communal spaces are lovely and kept in beautiful condition. There is a lovely sense of community and everyone is very friendly. Sarah is so kind and very helpful, nothing is too much trouble and she really cares about everyone and wants to make sure residents have the best experience possible. I highly recommend!

Reported an issue with my front door earlier in the week and on Wednesday Ian, the maintenance man, arrived to fix it. Prompt, efficient and friendly service. Nothing more that one could one ask for.
I have been at Eastry Place for over six months now and would say similar things about all the staff here. Always go out of their way to be friendly and helpful.

Twelve Acres Place, Chichester.
I moved into Twelve Acres Place, Chichester, last October and I can honestly say that it’s the best decision I’ve made in my later years. My apartment is beautiful, excellently appointed, and the public space is similarly set up to encourage people to join in and make friends in comfort.
But it’s the people that make this place special!
ALL the staff are amazing; nothing is too much trouble for them and their team spirit enables the whole atmosphere to be so positive.
I must also thank my fellow “ inmates “ for their contribution in making this such a wonderful place to live.
I didn’t think that I could be this happy and content at this stage of my life.
As my children live away they are delighted that I’m happy, safe, independent and living my best life.

Healing Hooves Therapy Ponies Visit
We had such a wonderful time visiting the residents and staff at Homestead Place & Staithe Gardens with our Healing Hooves ponies. From the moment we arrived, everyone made us feel so welcome. They were all incredibly friendly, and it was heartwarming to see their faces light up as they met and spent time with the ponies.
The smiles, laughter, and genuine joy on so many faces made it clear that the ponies had brightened their day. Watching the residents stroke, cuddle, fuss and chat to the ponies was such a special experience, and it reminded us why these visits mean so much. It was impossible not to leave with full hearts after seeing how much happiness those precious moments brought.
A special thank you to Sam Grimbleby and her fantastic team, who had even prepared carrot treats for the ponies – they absolutely loved them! It was such a thoughtful gesture and one that our Healing Hooves certainly enjoyed!
The ponies thoroughly enjoyed all the attention, fuss, and cuddles, and it was a real pleasure to be invited to spend the day with everyone. We left with lots of happy memories and can't wait to come back for another visit, to create even more memories together.

McCarthy and Stone in Whitley Bay is a…
McCarthy and Stone in Whitley Bay is a joy to visit. It’s so close to seafront and shops but tucked away safely with a well tended garden and ample parking.
I visit my friend every year ( I live in Brighton) and she is very content and safe in her self contained flat. Over the years I have met a few of the other residents and they bring additional support and laughter to her life!
The guest room is very comfortable with en suite facilities at an exceptionally low price per night. Thank you

Dawson Grange McCarthy & Stone development Ripon
We have stayed at ‘Dawson Grange’ McCarthy and Stone development in Ripon many times. Always made welcome from the House Manager, Janet who is very helpful and the residents. The guest room is small but has everything you need, including a small fridge. It is conveniently situated , five minute walk into Ripon city. There are ample visitor parking spaces which sometimes other developments don’t have. Altogether another enjoyable visit and will return soon.

The Hailes, Haddington Guest Suite
The Hailes, Haddington has the most relaxing guest suite. Comfy beds, the fluffiest of towels and some lovely added extras for that extra special touch. The House Manager Sarah has done an excellent job of making it feel like a 5 star hotel and this shows throughout the whole development. I can see why the guest suite here is very popular and it is a credit to McCarthy and Stone. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay a short distance from Edinburgh city centre.

On driving past The Fairways I noticed a for sale notice and thought I would take a chance by dropping in, I'm glad I did. What a warm reception from the house manager Liz who very kindly let me view the flat showed me around the complex and patiently answered all my many questions and explained about the fees, all without have an appointment!
