Hi, I'm not going to lie, I've found it very hard work and stressful to try and complete all the reference tasks, no fault of yourselves but because I've never had to do anything like that and I'm not any good with emails and uploading/downloading etc. legalforlandords are very professional in making sure you are the right candidate to take on the property, and are aware of options for things like home insurance, utility services and broadband options. I spoke with Eva who was very polite and very clear on making sure I understood my options, she was also very understanding of my decision to choose to wait until I'm moved and settled into the property before I think about maybe changing things or taking out home insurance, she is helpful and easy to talk to. Thank you Eva.

Absolutly wonderful, over the past few days I have been adjusting to being a first time renter and even though I have called non stop with questions and querys. Each one has been answered and even with a small issue of me putting the wrong previous address it got sorting in seconds by Lorraine Lawlor over the phone and replied and worked with me in a very kind and professional manner.

Billy was very helpful and patient with all of my silly questions as a first time tenant, i cannot fault him or his customer service at all!

Disappointing way to treat a long-standing customer.

I’ve been a LegalforLandlords customer for a number of years and recently received my renewal for Rent Guarantee and Legal Expenses cover at £339 a year.

I found broadly comparable cover elsewhere for £250 a year and contacted LegalforLandlords to ask whether there was any flexibility on the renewal price. I wasn’t expecting anything unreasonable, but given that I’d been a customer for years and the difference was only £89 a year, I thought they might at least make some effort to retain the business.

Unfortunately, Molly Kerfoot simply confirmed there was no flexibility on the £339 premium. I then replied again and received no response at all.

What makes it particularly disappointing is that the alternative policy I’ve now arranged provides very similar core cover for £89 less per year. In other words, LegalforLandlords have lost a long-standing customer over the equivalent of roughly £7.40 a month, without any apparent attempt to retain me.

Companies are obviously entitled to set whatever prices they want, but the complete lack of interest in retaining an existing customer, combined with the poor follow-up communication, left a bad impression.

I’ve now moved my cover elsewhere.

Despite it being my first time renting an apartment billy made it so easy for me to understand when helping me out with my insurance and other things during our conversation. He was kind and his understanding and service was deeply appreciated.

Billy made setting up my broadband and house insurance so easy and gave me the best deals.
