Treat delivery dates with considerable skepticism
The delivery dates and estimated arrival times advertised on Insulation Superstores website, product pages, and post purchase confirmations have consistently proven inaccurate. In my experience, all orders placed have arrived late compared to both the stated estimates and the confirmed delivery dates, or in some cases, failed to arrive altogether. This has caused significant disruption to my schedule, loss of productivity, and negative impacts on my construction program and budget.
Resolving these issues has required repeated and time consuming communication with customer services. On several occasions, I felt I had to personally manage the process rather than rely on the Insulation Superstore itself. Despite requesting to escalate matters to management in hopes of a quicker resolution, I was promised multiple call backs that never materialise; even more than 10 days after finally receiving the delayed items.
Based on these experiences, I would caution others to treat the supplier’s estimated and confirmed delivery dates with considerable skepticism. In practice, they bear little resemblance to the actual delivery timeline.

They clearly advertise delivery 2-3…
They clearly advertise delivery 2-3 days, on this basis, I placed an order allowing a contingency of two further days for a team of builders to concrete a new sub floor. My order did not arrive. Upon follow up, I was informed of a delay and given a further estimated delivery, again I rearranged the crew allowing more time. Again no delivery. When the order eventually arrived, it was via another insulation company who I might say were excellent. Although this unfortunate and costly episode was my fault as I did not read that the company cannot guarentee delivery, needless to say, I think it would be far more appropriate to advertise a realistic delivery schedule. I will order my materials direct from the suppliers in future.

I cannot see that we were made aware initially of any delays as we would have informed you of this when the order was placed, however I can see there was a delivery date change from the 4th to the 5th which we haven't been advised the reason as to why this happened.
We are working hard with our suppliers to try and get accurate lead times on our website so we can make our customers aware of stock issues as much as possible.
