Poor communication and delivery
The initial delivery was late, when it arrived the majority of the items were wrong. With the advice of the delivery driver it was all returned and delivered correctly the following day.
The 2nd part of the delivery arrived with missing items... the dispatch note said it was out of stock.....
Communication throughout the whole process has been poor.
I would not recommend using them unless you have no preferences to how much of your order will be delivered and when.
Local suppliers appear to be doing the work so I will be using them directly for future projects

First time with insulation superstore and very pleased.
They don’t let grass grow under their feet when it comes to getting an order out for delivery!! :-)
Expected delivery in about 4 days but to my amazement it came within a day or so.
Their customer service is on the ball when keeping you informed with progress of order.
Would definitely recommend and use again.
Felt safe dealing with them.

Avoid: Charge you for goods they don’t have and then don’t refund
I ordered nearly £1k of Kingspan insulation boards, got charged on my credit card the next day, received 2 promotional emails before getting an email to tell me the item was not in stock. Here I am nearly 2 weeks later, and they still haven’t refunded the amount.
I’m sure it’ll turn up eventually but this type of practise is dodgy as no reputable merchant charges you for items they don’t possess.
Edited to add: Your reply shows you didn’t read my review. You did not have the product in stock. You charged me for items you do not have! So I didn’t contact your customer service team to chase up my delivery because you cancelled it and kept my money for over a fortnight.

placed an order 11 days and nothing
placed an order 11 days and received zero email confirmation or updates.Getting through to customer service was a nightmare , and when finally spoke to someone ,I was given a wall of excuses about supplier price increases .
Now I'm being told to wait another 3-5days .
I'm only sticking with Insulation Superstore because canceling and ordering elsewhere would delay my project even longer .
Utterly disappointing customer service and complete lack of transparency .
Would not recommend

I ordered insulation and plywood and the order was accepted. But one week later I was advised they would not supply the plywood. So I lost a week on my project.

Watch out for delivery charges on items
Fast and efficient service, with a very helpful follow up from the team to check if I had any questions as I was loading my basket (over a couple of days). I would have given five stars if it wasn’t for the very strange delivery charge system - adding a roll of foil tape would have added best part of £10 to a delivery that already had a meaningful amount of items in it - very odd and one to keep an eye on…

All was delivered carefully. And fully intact and care taken.
Sadly no delivery date was confirmed, I was told I would be contacted to confirm it. When chased, it was already out for delivery and had to make arrangements.

Waited over 1 week for delivery that we…
Waited over 1 week for delivery that we paid £12.50 for - I had to then meet and find the driver about 15 minutes away as the wait for the delivery had already taken long enough, it delayed our job!!
So ultimately, if I never drove to the delivery driver 10 days later, we probably wouldn't have the order still.
