I've used this branch for 4 or 5 years now with a good service. On Monday, 17th Aug, I took car in for MOT & service. Failed MOT on washer jet alignment, 2 indicator light bulbs wrong colour & 1 rear fog lamp light not working (plus advisory on 1 tyre) so I authorised to go ahead with the washer jets & the 3 light bulbs but to leave the Advisory tyre just now. I then got another call to say problem with rear fog lamp as the entire light cluster needed replacement as wiring had gone. He said not cheap - at least £600+ for the unit alone plus labour. It didn't sound right to me so I said to leave that lamp work & I'd collect car, maybe sell or scrap. When I got there, they tried again to convince me to have it done by then it was '£900 worth it to keep me on the road' (I am a disabled female) but I still declined. Very upset, angry & disappointed that I felt like they were scamming me. Then I took car to Halfords Marsh Mills, where a (female) mechanic fitted a new bulb, checked the unit & tested it. Works perfectly £10:49 cost & took less than 15 minutes! Next morning I took car to Halfords again to re-do MOT. Passed with flying colours! So the moral of this is: Don't assume what the garage tell you is true - get 2 or 3 quotes from different places! By getting a 2nd opinion, I've just saved myself from a £600+ rip off! As against £10:49 (2nd MOT was free!) Shame on you, HiQ. So very disappointed.

I needed someone to look at a problem with my car. After having a look at the problem, a man called Hayden came to reception took me to my car and explained to me what he would need to do to fix it. He explained it very clearly and in a friendly manner. After a very short wait, he had fixed it and I was very happy with the charge for the labour. I have been to HiQ in Lancaster before and have always been more than pleased with the friendly efficient service they provide.

I was really surprised at the level of service I received from this company in Peterborough.
From the moment I entered the office and was greeted by Geoff, I could not believe the the way I was professionally treated. I had to screws in my rear 911 tyres and they were removed with great care by the staff.
In fact I had to revisit 10 days later as I had another screw in a rear tyre and this time greeted by Mark who was also very caring. I will return as this was a great experience. I must say the staff were extremely excellent too. at one point 4 guys were working on my car. Thank You

With the flash flood I had hit a pothole in a puddle and gotten stranded with a flat tyre. Breakdown cover I had would of charged a lot more and estimated to arrive in 6 hours. I rang HiQ and they helped instantly! I explained the situation and that I had a baby in the car with me. Hayden rushed out and got me back on the road not even 30 mins later. The lady who arranged it was amazing and Hayden who fixed it was fantastic. Thank you so much for saving this mum in distress! You've found yourself a loyal customer now.

Very knowledgable and helpful staff arranged appointments for me quickly and the work was carried to a high standard and for a fair price. Glad I found them and I will definitely use them again in the future.

I had to have 2 new tyres fitted to both mine and my wife’s cars recently. We
Chose HiQ because it was close and we wanted to keep our business local. The price for the tyres was also comparable and in one case lower than any other tyre company close by.
Unfortunately whilst fitting a front tyre to my car my alloy wheel was damaged by the workshop. I noticed the damage and immediately brought it to the attention of the manager at HiQ. Unfortunately because of a breakdown in communication I had to chase it up.
I was contacted by a manager at HiQ and promised full that it would be sorted…and now it is.
Not only did they repair my alloy they lent me a car for the time it took to repair. In my opinion they really were committed to restoring my confidence and trust in HiQ. They also fitted 4 new TPMS sensors that were also not functioning properly.
All in all I would highly recommend HiQ and will be using them again in the near future.

Customer service was respectable down to earth . The Pricing is reasonable. I've been here twice it is my new go to garage you can sit and wait or pop in to town whilst waiting for your car to be fixed.They keep you informed when it's ready.

They explained what the fault was that they had found at the MOT test and what needed to be done.
They then did the job and I then became the happy recipient of an MOT certificate for my vehicle.

Having spoken with the office in Colchester I found the young man on the phone very helpful. I booked the tyres online and he later confirmed everything on an email and gave me a call too.
I had an opportunity to arrive a day early and spoke with them again and they were extremely accommodating.
Great service and very cot effective.
