Bought a Epson printer from Curry’s Update Received my e50 from Epson today. Thanks to everyone who helped 🙏

Bought a Epson printer from Curry’s
Send Epson website all they asked for to get my as offered e50 cash back.
Think they are trying to put every obstacle in place for me to get tired and give up.
Eg looking for extra information ect.
Buyer beware.

Initially I would have given a much…

Initially I would have given a much lower rating but since I contacted Epson asking for assistance, I could not have asked for a better response. The Customer Care team have been brilliant and made sure that a member of the technical team contacted me by telephone.
The icing on the cake is that my printer is again working. Thank you to all of the Epson Team a "job well done"

Really disappointed with your support…

Really disappointed with your support and service. You confused/lied to me and I feel scammed. I have paid; I have not received any service yet, only confusing and poor clarifications, and my subscription will end soon...

Hopefully I will receive the ink you said you sent soon, and I'll be able to print something before ending my subscription.

very hard to contact support team

very hard to contact, I have very small problem with my printer, but I gave up to get any support now, I will not again buy Epson Printer, I going to buy a new other brand cheep printer now til I find the best post Purchace customer support.

My new epson printer black ink needed…

My new epson printer black ink needed replacing. So when I tried to replace 1 black cartridge it didn't work. So I replaced all 4 ink cartridges and it worked. I don't think it will work if you replace cartridges that aren't the same. You must make sure all 4 ink cartridges are the same design and not the design the of the cartridges when you purchased the printer. I hope that makes sense.

Never again

Never again . Printer will not accept Epson cartridge and it’s just out of warranty . They want £130.00 to repair it . No logic as printer worth £50. Please do not buy Epson .

XP 900 printer

XP 900 printer: This is such an awful printer, apart from terrible print quality with blurred print and inconsistent colour you have to enter everything on a digital keypad (passwords take forever) instead of a touch display which should be standard on a machine like this. I would say that the fact that it takes A3 paper is the only good point, but as the print is so awful I can't use that facility. Going in the bin.

A terrible company with bad products

An awful company with bad products. Making users need their awful app so they control everything. Printers used to be easy to install, but these lot make installation only possible with their awful application. Epsom exemplifies everything that is wrong with the tech sector. A printer sitting at home that I am unable to install due to a technical error that only exists due to their unnecessary overreaching technology.

Avaricious and dishonest are the best…

Avaricious and dishonest are the best two polite words I can think of at this moment to describe what is left of this once good company. They'll sell you a rpoduct promising all sorts of options and then you find the software does not support those options. This is dishonest. They sell you a cartridge which of course you assume is full of ink but in fact it is not, it's only 30% filled with ink, this is dishonest. The printer then tells you to replace inks when there is still ink left in the cartridge so that you have to spend more of your money with them. This is downright dishonest and avaricious. Greedy, misrepresentation seems to be the core of this business. I am still awaiting a response from their 'customer services' what a joke that is, they should not be allowed to call it that, they offer no customer service at all. This company deserve to go out of business and fast. Take my advice, don't touch their products with a bargepole.

Don’t make my mistake!

If only potential customers could read the hundreds of horrendous reviews below. I genuinely cannot believe Epson are still trading. Bought a printer from John Lewis at the full retail price and the delightful sales assistant suggested I sign up to an Epson ink subscription as it “would save me money”. Eighteen months and lots of money later I have only received 1 black cartridge! Despite many attempts for the most basic of support I have received extraordinary dumb
response from the sales team, with comments such as: “thank you for choosing Epson. We hope you are enjoying our products”. Well the time has come to cut my losses. I’m binning the printer and have already cancelled my fruitless Epson subscription. I understand there is a class action against this company for this dishonest and misleading practice and I’m going to find out how I sign up. Don’t make my mistake - read the product reviews before buying from this wretched company. Mike S

Customer service

Recently spoke to a Lovely young lady called Jean.She is a Customer service Specialist for Epson.
I had been having prolonged issues with Epson not paying the cashback they had promised.
It has taken seven months to resolve.
And it has only been resolved because Jean got involved for me.
She has been Fantastic.
A credit to the company and example of how to treat a customer with care and empathy.
I would imagine she is rare commodity in the Epson company.
The sooner she is promoted to CEO the better.

Never Buy Epson!

After complaining SmartScan s/w is faulty they spend 2 wks asking questions, like "what version are you using?". That's after being told it was downloaded from the Epson website. If they don't know what version they're pushing, there's no hope! Never providing any answers. They ask so many questions clearly designed to frustrate customers into dropping the issue. It's Epson I'm dropping!
Edit: Now they want even more info!!! Check the numerous emails!! I'm wasting no more time with such an absolute shambles!

ReadyPrint is a scam

Their ReadyPrint contract is a complete scam. I've had to buy extra ink as they failed to send me replacement cartridges. I spoke to them and they blamed the delivery company and said they'd send some more. Again, they didn't arrive!

WF 2930 printer and the 'lnk experience'

WF 2930 printer, brand new ,I engaged an IT pro to install and set it up. He strongly advised to subscribe to the ink service which I did. Next day the thing stopped printing. Pro comes back and gets it going.
Two days on, an email from Epson 'your printer needs to be connected to the internet action required now' Printer stops working. ,internet is perfect ,test shows connection 'excellent'.
Two days on another email ,same as before, 'we cannot access your printer etc' followed by a delivery of ink (to the wrong address.) Neighbour brought it round.
Setup ink running out, Epson managed to send ink for a printer to which they cannot connect ! No manual for this thing only a pictogram on the tiny screen with NO information on how to get the ink cart into position to replace the ink. Over 250 page manual on the net with no indication of the button presses required to install the ink. Epson support is a cruel joke, wading through layers of carefully designed obstruction takes you back to the same 'contact us' useless dead end. 'Call us' does nothing. In all a stressful and expensive waste of money and time.
PS While trying to change the ink using the advised '? button' the tiny screen flashed up a message 'you are not registered for ready ink'. Yes Epson, you took my money instantly and gave me an accessible account , sent ink, but my printer is unregistered and useless now . How clever.

As a nice little stab in the back I found the warranty had been registered six weeks before I bought this thing. Probably a re-issued return from a fellow victim.

PS 2 A close friend well versed in the black arts of the net, worked out the secret button code interspersed with flashes from the screen. A sequence of 16 presses shifted the magic cart to the secret ink replacement location reserved for those sworn to the brotherhood. Trembling hands inserted the ink, gram for gram worth more than Gold. More secret presses on the magic buttons and the device sprang into action ,spat out some test stuff. Joy all round.
Then stopped printing.

Uncaring 'Customer Service'

I replaced my old Epson printer in mid-May with a more up-to-date model (XP-4200). The new printer from J Lewis worked fine initially until Epson issued a “Software Update” on 29 June which I installed, however that seemed to have completely upset the printer so it failed on almost all the issues listed under ’Troubleshooting’. I then wasted about one week exchanging emails with Epson “Customer Support team” who just kept ‘apologising’ and requesting irrelevant information and tests which I found particularly challenging and frustrating. I explained that I am 85 years of age, caring 24/7 for my incapacitated wife but still there was no commitment from Epson to provide any meaningful help.

Finally, having been requested to undertake more ‘tests’ a message appeared on the printer saying “Replace Black Ink Cartridge” - I had installed a new set of Epson cartridges a few days earlier (@£29.99) and most of my printing was to satisfy Epson’s demands for tests!!!! When I reported this, I was asked to provide “a photo of the ink”! Having already sent them a photo of the Epson cartridges installed in the printer a few days earlier it was obvious that Epson were just ‘fobbing me off’ and had no care whatsoever for customers of their products. I then contacted John Lewis who immediately understood my difficulties and arranged for return of the printer and a full refund!

Don't buy Epson printers

Very disappointed with the speed ink is consumed and it is impossible to contact Epson asking for any help and guidance, they simply do not respond. Would happily give the printer away but feel guilty passing the problem on to someone else. So off to the recycling centre it goes!

Diabolical

Printer was OK until I changed the ink cartridges official ones too
Contacted customer services numerous times, each time explaining the issue over and over again, got told an engineer would come out and guess what never happened
I will NEVER buy a epson product again, total waste of money and diabolical customer service
