The Club was formed in 1907 as ‘The Caravan Club’. 110 years later in 2017 we wanted to reflect our broadening membership and became the ‘Caravan and Motorhome Club’.
We are an inclusive club, representing the interests of over 1.1 million caravanners, motorhomers, campervanners and campers providing our members access to over 2,700 quality campsites across the UK and Europe.
As the No. 1 rated UK touring club, our purpose is to help our members get more from the great outdoors.

All the sites are very clean and tidy. They are located everywhere so is easy to find one which ever part of the country you’re in. The booking system is straightforward and they always sent good general emails out regarding caravan and Motorhome items

I’ve been disappointed with some sites as the upkeep would be rated as a 1 star but you charge for a 4 star ? . Why isn’t the one Clock system changed if you’ve already booked and paid for express entry, and you don’t need to enter the office to book in? .

Keeping prices acceptable whilst continually improving services. I tend to visits sites outside of the school holidays and I have used club sites twice this year and with the special offers available, the price for 5 nights as been on a par with private sites. I will continue to support Caravan and Motorhome club as long as they provide me with affordable and comfortable sites / pitches.

Good clean sites with friendly staff,
However the cost seems to have increased over recent years, consquentally most of the CAMC sites we visited this year have been in conjuction with 2 for 1 offers, which brings the cost broadly in line with what we would expect to pay when travelling in europe which is generally half the cost of a UK CAMC stay.
As we travel as a couple, the actual cost rises against the advertised price when the 2nd adult is added... for those with dogs and or children this rises further, and of course the annual club membership needs to be factored in too...
Overall good sites but pricey and more initiatives to increase the attraction to use CAMC sites out of high season would be appreciated.

I have been a member for several years…
I have been a member for several years with my campervan, prices have gone up in the past year by £10-£15 per night, in some cases doubled, ive not stayed on a site this year as the prices compared to private sites are so much more, even making it nearly as cheap to get a B and B or cheap hotel, such a shame as sites are generally kept well, not sure I will renew next year as I dont find it value for money anymore.
Thanks for your reply, I feel that dynamic pricing is just a way to get as much money out of us as possible , the Club is owned by the members, it should not be making excessive profits, it should be looking after the members who infact keep it running.

Everything is good except the insurance service, I've tried for 2 years now to react to the numerous emails I get from you guys about bringing my insurance over to you but the quote(s) aren't just high they are ludicrous in comparison.

Always first class. Wardens are always welcoming and professional. Ready to help if needed. The standard on the sites are the best.
The only downside is the rising cost of the site fees, but if you want the best (which imo is the caravan club site), then you can expect to pay for it.
Tried their closest competitive, and private sites, but always end up choosing CC.

A Waste of money!
Joined this when we bought our first motorhome a few months ago, the FREE night is only bookable on 'Club Sites' that have nothing on and most are in the middle of no where! You can't book accredited or certified sites, I find the sites they recommend very expensive and not "cheap" as the advertise. Won't renew next year 100% Don't waste your money!
