Wish I’d read these reviews before buying!!! The florist knew it was for a bereavement, yet didn’t deliver same day - despite paying £7.99 same day delivery fee. I don’t believe their excuse for one second given the reviews on here. I will never buy from them again.

Update*** Flowers turned up in a variety of colours (I asked for white as bereavement) no refund yet for the same day delivery fee. No apology! Absolutely appalling service. Use this florist at your peril!

If I could give no stars then I would. I wish I'd looked on here for reviews first. Same day delivery simply does not exist and they don't care.

Ordered same day flowers, got email at 4.30pm to say due to florist having covid they would be delivered next day instead. I replied to ask for refund as the recipient would not be around the next day. (I had also paid for same day delivery) No reply until early hours, they then said they had already been dispatched so I couldn’t have a refund. The gesture of the flowers was not valid the day after so was a waste of money for me. Email responses were delayed and not helpful. Looking at reviews it seems they take money from people regularly for same day delivery but do not deliver until the following day. Would not use again. Terrible.

I ordered same day flowers for my friend's birthday, they didnt arrive. I emailed to let them know and said they would look into it. I had paid extra for same day delivery, but the response was we will deliver them tomorrow. The flowers were delivered but just left outside on full view, the delivery person did not knock the door or ring the bell... all I got was a 'sorry' - no compensation.... awful!

I do not recommend.
I ordered a bouquet of roses for same day delivery for my daughters birthday, specifically told the name I wanted on the card. Total close to fifty pounds.
What my daughter actually got was a small bouquet, with 3 roses and mainly wildflowers and leaves and they forgot to add the name onto it. I emailed and the person I spoke with was not willing to do anything for me, telling me they were right and I was wrong. BAD customer service, AVOID

I purchased flowers for my partners anniversary and when they arrived the majority of the flowers were bent or broken completely. We were both incredibly disappointed with the awful looking bouquet.

Melissa at Amelia's Florist is dealing with my complaint and I have spent a month asking for a refund for the flowers. I have been lied too when they said they would be dealing with my enquiry, and they have not responded to me when they said they would.

I have not once been apologised too during this ordeal, and felt that the manner of the replies from Messila have been rude and snarky.

Amelia's Florist at first offered an insulting £5 as compensation. As the bouquet costed £30.99, this was completely unacceptable. They have then tried to argue over the course of three weeks differing amounts, wasting my time as well as their own and causing significant distress and anger.
I did not buy the flowers individually and quite simply want a full refund as the bouquet was unacceptable.

I will never ever use this company again and will advice everyone to avoid them in future. If you are reading this, do NOT use this company as you will be disappointed.

I will now continue to seek a full refund as a matter of principle even if I have to take Amelia's Florists to a small claims court to settle this.

I ordered a wreath for a funeral. Delivered on time but after the service I came out to view our purchase ..
Well, I was taken back as it was mainly the usual flowers used but this had a few roses added that were brown around the edges. Ruined the whole effect, how could a florist put in spent flowers.
I was very upset due to it being s close family member service and my phone was switched off (I did not think to take a photo). I contacted them the next day and received a few apologies. That was it. A decent company would have given a total refund. I would never use this company again. Shalaine Aldis

Ordered flowers on 6th Saturday for delivery on 8th August which the website showed was available. Took my money but didn't say that the cut off had passed for any flower delivery on 8th even though it was obvious that the flowers were for a birthday. Appalling service. They then send me an email on Monday 8th August at after 4pm to tell me I had missed the cut off. Do Not use this company....

Firstly I'll admit the ordering system isn't great and you don't get updates, however these guys are florists not system experts. The lady I spoke to about my order managed to track it down and give me an update. The flowers arrived within the time slot and they were lovely, excellent quality. Anyone ordering please ring the number so a person/florist can give you updates.

This is a really bad company if you can call it that. I ordered flowers for same day delivery to be told at 4 30pm that the lady has suspected covid not confirmed case but has really bad cough. Got told that the flowers been upgraded and be delivered the next day which was no good to me and to late for me to order from a reliable company. I ask for a refund to be told it's been dispatched bearing in mind email was ignored for few hours before this response that been dispatched I said I would like a refund to get a to reply in the morning to say sorry out for delivery I then sent another email for it to be ignored and then I got a email with picture of them left on doorstep in a box but still has not responded to my email with regards to a refund. I'm not happy at all and will never use this place again.

Flowers arrived as ordered.
After reading the reviews I started panicking but the flowers arrived on time to the given address and were nice and worth the £40.
The only concern I had was no paper/ email trail, and no photo sent.

Ordered a funeral spray at cost of £50 absolutely terrible. Very few flowers & heads missing & wilting daisies. Absolutely disappointed & saddened on such a sad occasion too. Most Embarrassing. Could have got better from supermarket at quarter of the cost.

Paid for 24 red roses I got every colour but!! Terrible service, Melissa was rude, didn’t listen to what I was saying & kept saying how lovely they were. Didn’t have the courtesy to call & say they wasn’t sending what I ordered they just delivered them. Melissa has offered me £30 a bouquet as a good will gesture but I think I’ll give it a miss, probably send me the wrong thing again. All they do is source flowers from local shops miss out this terrible middleman business & go straight to the shop yourself. ABSOLUTE SCAM!!!!!

Absolutely disgusted, wish i had read reviews first, scam, rip off, businesses like this should not be able to trade.

Absolutely horrendous service! Ordered same day flowers in the morning, way before the 2pm cut off - they agreed and took my money. They then emailed at 4:30pm to say the florist had symptoms of Covid (not a confirmed case) and could not send the flowers and would have to be delivered the next day. I immediately cancelled the order and requested a refund. They emailed the following day and said it was not possible as the flowers had been sent out the previous day - how is this possible if the florist was ill? Absolute lies.

They said they upgraded the flowers but this was also a lie and the flowers that were delivered looked sparse and nothing like the original picture, let alone the upgrade!

I am still pursuing a refund!

Avoid at all costs - worst company I have ever dealt with.

It’s not a reliable company for their service! The flowers got delayed and there is not possible to track your order! On their website doesn’t tell when your order will be delivered!
I wish I had “0 star” option and still able to write this as 1 it’s way too much!
Don’t get disappointed as I did!

POOR POOR POOR,
I placed with Amelia florists on the 6th of January 2022 because it was late in the evening it had to be next day delivery. The flowers never arrived so I contacted the company and they said because I’ve missed the cut-off it would now be on the Saturday that was fine however Saturday arrived and no flowers. I emailed once again they said that they tried to deliver at 5 pm but nobody was in.
Again I contacted the company and said the recipient and her husband were both in, the garage door was open so they could’ve put the flowers there, no calling card was left and they could have tried a neighbour. Mellissa the lady I have been emailing apologised on all occasions and tried to rectify the situation but very poorly. When you try to call the office always appears to be closed had I read the trust pilot reviews before I would never have use this company I am still waiting for my flowers or a refund.
AVOID AMELIA FLOWERS

Advertised SAME DAY SERVICE! Forget that! That is just to get your money and trust! So like an idiot you ‘buy in to their Services and Place an Order! Stating that IT MUST ONLY BE DELIVERED ON THIS DAY!!!

Sitting at home wondering if the flowers were okay but not wanting to ring the recipient who is desperately ill, you imagine that the Company couldn’t have got this wrong? After all this is what they do!
Next day Amelia’s flowers have the gall to say that they didn’t deliver as instructed, but would send out today!!!
I’m so upset as the person is seriously ill (terminally) and is unlikely to be at her home today!
After several emails during which this company now have the gall to offer me my £7.99 Delivery fee back!
They then say that they want the telephone number of the recipient so they can ring her and ask for the flowers back…WHEN THEY ARE DELIVERED!!!! You just couldn’t make it up! So I suggested to them that if they could put their brain into gear, perhaps they could have got in touch with the driver BEFORE HE DELIVERED!!!
No ANSWER…..OH I WISH ID READ THESE REVIEWS BEFORE I USED THESE SHYSTERS!

I have only given 1 star so I can write a review. They are not worthy of even 1 star. I ordered a funeral wreath online requesting it to be delivered by 10am as the funeral was at 11am. On the day of the funeral our flowers did not arrive with the coffin as expected. I called the florists and was told they would look into it and someone would email me. I still have not received an email. I called the funeral director to be told they were delivered at 11:30. Very unreliable on an emotional day and I would not recommend and will not be using this florists again.

I called the company to make sure that I could definitely have the flowers delivered in the morning of the next day, which the lady was very helpful with. With this being said, the flowers that I ordered and the flowers that were delivered were completely different. I ordered “Florist Choice Pastel” and there was an image of this arrangement advertised on their website that displayed gems in the roses. It did not specify in the description that the roses would come without the gems, the flowers would be changed and the colours would be completely different to what was advertised in the image. I emailed the company to explain my disappointment and I received an effortless reply basically advising that I had ordered “Florist Choice”, therefore the florist choses the flowers. I replied explaining that regardless of the flower arrangement being in different colours, there were no gems inside of the roses (which the image on their website clearly shows!). This was one of the main reasons why I ordered this particular arrangement, because of the gems inside the roses. They didn’t even have the courtesy to respond to my email, which is disgusting customer service. I will certainly never order from this company again.
