Very disappointed with service late delivery
Very disappointed with service. I ordered flowers at 9am and paid extra for same day service and the flowers were not delivered until 4pm the next day. While flowers were nice I had wanted them to be delivered as a surprise to wish the person good luck. Sent 3 emails and only got a response following day with just "sorry". Do not order flowers from this company.

Whoever "MARGARET" is, she answers emails using JOHN HEATH's email address.
Well Margaret, I have no hesitation in calling you a LIAR. ( I have emails from you to prove it )
The flowers, for a funeral, did not arrive on the day specified. We arrived back from the funeral the next day to find them on our doorstep. When we challenged you about this, your response was... and I quote you
"I have checked the system and it was attempted yesterday but no answer . It was then reattempted today at 1015 and left safe as you are aware kind regards Margaret"
THIS WAS A LIE AND YOU KNOW IT
We have twice requested the Post Office tracking number, and twice you have not supplied it. It's quite obvious why.
However, we did offer you the chance to change your story... and I quote.
"Would you like to change your narrative of events before we proceed further?"
And, oh boy, did you change it! ... probably as you knew that we were not going to be fobbed off with your paltry offer of a 50% refund, and were about to contact the Post Office ourselves.
However, I'm not too sure that Amelias Florist is even trading legally anyway. A quick check on the Companies House website states that Amelias Florist Ltd was liquidated on 10th April 2025.
There is a lot of information about Amelias Florist, and John Heath, on this web page..... and it is far from good.
No wonder you never respond to reviews on Trustpilot.
So Margaret, whoever you are, if you ever get to read this review I hope you are thoroughly ashamed of yourself.
Where do I start....
Where do I start..... flowers ordered for my Auntie's funeral. My mum ordered a pink wreath and asked for my Auntie's favourite flowers (peonies) but to be told they were not in season so cannot get them. (At the funeral there were other wreaths with peonies!) Mum ordered a wreath for £100 and when she got to the funeral she was so so upset with what she saw. Next to the other wreaths it looked awful. Hardly any flowers on the wreath. It was basically green. I have been trying to sort some compensation ever since (this happened in August) and have just been fobbed off over and over again. I was told it was florist choice! The compensation was going to charity. Do not use this company. Also I felt I was not treated with empathy as I was asked questions like, what's the name of the deceased and photo evidence of the flowers at the funeral. If I could put 0 stars I would.

I don't use the terms liars and thieves lightly, never have and never will and would only use those terms if I was 100% certain of their accuracy.
My sister in law contacted this company to deliver same day flowers to ourselves for a special event. The flowers were ordered with an extra payment for same day delivery. They portrayed themselves as a local company throughout.
The flowers didn't arrive and they stated we weren't in to accept delivery...LIE...
The SIL chased them up the following day to request a refund. This couldn't be given because the flowers were out for delivery. Albeit already a day late and the moment had passed.
The flowers were delivered by DPD on a "next day" paid format and left in our garage without our knowledge. This was at 1604 hrs the following day.
The SIL contacted the company again and was told they had been delivered the following day because we were unable to receive them on the first attempt.
...LIE...
The DPD delivery note clearly states next day and they didn't arrive at DPD Tyneside until 0515 hours the day after order. The company took extra money that our SIL could I'll afford to pay and then only provided next day delivery, this is a clear criminal deception, if you receive property by deception you are a...THIEF...
They are Liars and Thieves, do not use them.
Delivered a day late…
Ordered flowers on Sunday selected Monday as the delivery date, paid for selected order and didn’t arrive till Tuesday. Really disappointed as I shopped around for ages for a place that would deliver them Monday.
Receipt even said they’d be delivered Monday. I had to chase them 2 days later and then they told me next day delivery was an extra 7.99! Absolute joke. I should’ve read the trust pilot reviews before I ordered as now I see what a negative response they’ve had from every other customer.
Lovely flowers, website bit confusing
The recipient was very happy with the flowers. I had thought they would be delivered next day to coincide with recipients birthday, but I now think they were ordered too late for that and arrived day after. Recipient sent me a photo and they were lovely flowers. I give 5 for the flowers, and 4 for the slightly confusing website.
Arrived on time, and were as advertised.
The delivery of chosen bouquet arrived on time next day by Royal Mail, Flowers were close to the pictures advertised, flowers were fresh, and were very much appreciated by my relatives.
Do Not Trust
I almost never write reviews, but I feel like others should be warned. I placed an order for my wedding flowers way ahead of the actual date, expecting them to arrive as promissed. Sadly, they didn’t turn up until the next day, which obviously meant they were no longer needed.
I’ve tried to explain the situation to the company several times over the past few weeks, even while I was still on my honeymoon. Still, they’re refusing to give a refund. Their reasoning? Since I received the flowers, it counts as me accepting the delivery. That logic is ridiculus. What was I supposed to do, toss them out on the street?
This has been nothing but dissapointing and emotional. A wedding should be remembered for joy, not stress caused by a business that refuses to own its mistake.
If timing matters to you at all, look elsewhere. This company doesn’t seem to understand the meaning of reliability or accountability.

This company delivered a top class bouquet within 48 hours to Musselburgh Scotland.
1.8 rating belies the quality by miles.

I ordered a delivery of flowers for a one off special occasion to be delivered the following Monday, (on the day of my daughters opening of a new small independent business).The flowers were wrongly delivered on the Saturday and as the address was a business address she was not there so then had to drive to collect the flowers. When I fed this back to Amelia’s they did not accept any responsibility, squarely placed the blame on dpd the delivery company and worse did not even offer an apology, leave alone any recompense. So wish I had read all the other reviews here before I placed my order! Will never use them again and suggest you don’t either. Shocking service and even worse customer care. Now feeling gutted that I totally “missed the moment” on a special occasion.
Awesome flowers
A big thank you to Amelia’s florist for the flowers they sent today. They look gorgeous! I was a bit worried by the reviews I had read but they emailed me promptly and the flowers were lovely! Thank you! And yes they are not local florist which I had thought but were good none the less!

Don’t use Amelia’s or any other company associated with this company. I ordered flowers 5 days in advance to be delivered on a 40th birthday they arrived 2 days earlier than her birthday without the candle l paid for plus the flowers were nothing special could have got better from a supermarket.I telephoned got a receptionist who tried to fob me off with it’s the couriers fault so l sent 3 emails eventually got a reply saying l would have read most orders arrive on time but some don’t no l didn’t read that as l ordered well in advance. I am being refunded for the no show candle.Don’t waste your money on this shambolic company go elsewhere and unlike me read reviews first!! One birthday surprise ruined by these people.

Ordered a bouquet for a funeral to be delivered on the day to the crematorium.
The “boxed” flowers were delivered 2 days early and left in box against a chair.
The flowers weren’t on display with other memorials at the crematorium.
When I contacted Amelias they said I’d ordered them for the earlier date, which I hadn’t, plus I expected a bouquet not a cardboard box.
No-one has seen the box.
No apology only said it was my problem to solve with the crem, appalling service.
Please do not order anything from the company they are awful.

The flowers arrived same day but the arrangement was extremely average!

Unreliable at delivering on the day requested
What went wrong - did not deliver on my selected date, so do NOT use for special occasions (like my wedding anniversary).
How can company improve - unfortunately I don't think it's possible. My experience is that their customer service is limited to "sorry it wasn't delivered yesterday the courier is delivering it today". You'll get their flowers but no communication of any value.

Absolutely Awful
Ordered a posy for funeral but a horrible basket of flowers were delivered. So so upset as they were for my best friend. Contacted company & was told to email complaint which I did. Was asked for a photo (who takes photos at funeral??). Long story short they say florist did make correct order so calling me a liar!! So angry & upset all I wanted was an apology. I’m going to take this further as they shouldn’t be allowed to get away with this.
