Pessima esperienza. Il mio pacco è stato rinviato al mittente per un presunto indirizzo errato. Appena me ne sono accorta ho scritto alla libreria confermando l'indirizzo è chiedendo la riconsegna dell' ordine. La libreria invece ha fatto subito rimborso, trattenendo la metà, circa 50 euro di penalità. Da parte mia, mai più!

I'm still waiting for a book I was debited $75.91 for on August 12 that was supposed to arrive in 10 to 20 business days.
Started trying to contact them about a week after that delay passed. But apparently, there's no such thing as Customer Service there.
Meanwhile, they've started offering "Rewards" via my bank for more purchases? Dream on!
I just want the one I've already purchased - or a refund, obviously!!

Compro su abebooks da tanti anni. Esperienza eccellente con un grande servizio clienti serio.

Ho ordinato e pagato 2 copie dello stesso libro. Spedizione inviata da libreria inglese. Apro e di libro ce n'è uno solo. Contattarli è praticamente impossibile, nkn accettano paypal così niente controversie. Da evitare come ls peste.

Ho acquistato due libri per risparmiare sulle spese di spedizione. I libri erano disponibili e ho provveduto al pagamento. Il giorno dopo mi dicono che hanno spedito un solo libro perché l'altro era esaurito senza darmi la possibilità di recedere visto che ne volevo due. Il libro usato che mi è arrivato è a dir poco osceno con sottolineature ovunque e macchie scure molto grandi su molte pagine. Insomma un libro da buttare

Ho pagato la spedizione rapida (8 euro) fidandomi del fatto che avrebbero consegnato in 2/4 giorni.
Nella mail di conferma poi mi avvisano che i giorni necessari sarebbero stati 9.
Supporto inesistente, gli ho fatto presente il problema e mi hanno mandato una mail che parla di tutt'altro.
Non fidatevi mai.

imballaggio ottimo e libro in perfette condizioni, consiglio!

Ho trovato un libro introvabile ad un prezzo stracciato!! È una piattaforma con diversi fornitori sparsi nel mondo quindi io sono stata fortunata, la libreria che lo possedeva (in Germania!) aveva fornito una perfetta descrizione anche dei difetti del libro (usato) e specificato che il libro era in lingua italiana. Ho chiesto una spiegazione al servizio clienti e sono stata contattata subito il giorno dopo, ho pagato con PayPal e il pacco mi è stato consegnato con DHL in soli 3 giorni lavorativi... Direi tutto perfetto!

I ordered a book December 27 and it was ment to arrive on jan 17, but I just received an alert that said that my order delivery was failed, due to an incomplete or wrong address.
I checked the invoice and my address was correct, so...never received my book.
I wrote to the customer care and they did not communicate, just copy-paste me the screenshot of the shipment status, the same I could check myself.

Very disappointing experience, I'll definitely won't buy here anymore.

Ordino un libro dalla Germania. Abebooks mi invia un numero di tracking che non funziona perché in realtà risulta FALSO! Il venditore infatti asserisce (con mail automatica) di inviare i libri con modalità non tracciata.
Esperienza pessima venire trattati da cretini. Mai più.

Perfect copy, received in only 4 working days from German book dealer.

28/12/2024 - After 2 weeks from the order the books are still marked as "They will be shipped" (I am located in Italy) but at the same time I received a confirmation e-mail for the shipment of the two orders, so you can not ask for a refund before the 28 working days of expected delivery time!

03/01/2025 - I finally received the first of the two books. Cheapest standard international mail was used, that is why no tracking info and slow delivery time (11 working days excluding Saturdays)

04/01/2025 - Also second book arrived (pay attention to editions, I purchased the wrong one)

I have ordered many books with this company over the last few years and I always received them properly packed and in a good shape, very competitive prices as well and quick delivery, will probably keep on doing business with this company

Ordinato un libro scolastico, tre volumi,con numero identificativo di ogni singolo volume arrivato errato,restituzione a carico del cliente.
Pessima esperienza.

HO PAGATO IN ANTICIPO HO CHIESTO PIU' VOLTE DELLA SPEDIZIONE ALLA FINE HO RICHIESTO IL RIMBORSO CHE NON ERA PIU POSSIBILE OTTENERE. PESSIMA ESPERIENZA SCONSIGLIATISSIMO INQUALIFICABILI - L'ORDINE RISULTA SEMPRE IN SPEDIZIONE MA NON SI OTTIENE NESSUNA RISPOSTA 1 STELLA E' TROPPA

In general I have great experience with AbeBooks. I purchase from sellers that proved to be good, the quality in most cases is as described. When I need a book from UK, I go to AbeBooks as well.
When shipped from UK I expect longer wait (1 month is kinda expected). Otherwise, quick enough. Still better than purchase from Amazon (do I need to explain why?).

Pessimo e sconsigliatissimo. Hanno pubblicato come disponibile un libro che non lo era, ho eseguito l'ordine, che è stato pagato, e oggi scopro, perché sono andata a vedere a che punto era la spedizione, che il libro non è presente in libreria. Il rimborso non è stato effettuato. Sto cercando di comunicare ed è praticamente impossibile. Spero di riuscire ma credo che sia difficile ottenere i soldi indietro. Sono dei truffatori.

Ho acquistato un libro ma ho dovuto avviare la procedura di reso perchè mi aspettavo un'edizione diversa. Dopo una settimana dall'avvenuta consegna del libro reso ho ricevuto il rimborso. Sono soddisfatto.
