They openly admit to charging more than the pump price and they will blame the customer for not noticing the weekly prices they give us, they expect us to call and report the incorrect price in order for them to rectify it.
They have also refused to reimburse the cost difference. If you call up as a new customer they say they guarantee a cost saving of at least 5p per litre than the pump price.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Scam scam scam
This is one of the most rediculus experiences I had with possible savings of £180/year as they claimed. They could not open my account for 3 times and when it's confirmed to me by their advisor that I am accepted and can expect the card within few days, I have been given a call in few days and told that i need to pay deposit of £1000 in order to open my account. This is a clear scam. Be aware

20p over the pump price per litre
I thought we automatically got a discounted fuel price using the Wex cards but it turns out we are paying (and have been for some time) over £2 per litre. When I asked if we were maybe paying a surcharge at Morrisons petrol stations they said not, however the pump price is only £1.80 ish at the minute. The assistant wanted to put me through to sales to review the tariff but I don't like companies that take advantage until challenged. obviously we are cancelling the account.

Extramely disappointed with Wex as they still charging us for tracker that have being removed from vehicle 2 years ago, constant problems with login in and was told by them it is my fault. Their staff doesn't reply to email and apparently the called us but can't provide proved that they rang us. Very disappointed after years of using their service

Very disappointed in WEX
Very disappointed in WEX. We have a number of fuelcards for our transport business. WEX are consistently the most expensive each week. We have had promises both verbally and in writing to say that we were going on a new tariff and our price would definitely come down - it has never happened despite their confirmation and promises. Customer services is quite frankly non existant - they fob you off and never call you back. Compared to UK Fuels, UK Fuels, Husk - WEX are by far the worst with customer service non existent.

Utter Joke
We were with them for 18 months, spent over 100K, never missed a payment we changed names. But kept the vehicles and drivers the same then they just stopped all our cards without warning. leaving our trucks stranded. Then said they needed £5000 on account for 18 months to build trust back up. Honestly, this company wouldn't know trust or loyalty if it was sat in front of them. We are now in talks with Shell who after seeing the invoices and money we spent with WEX, said no problem we will get you back on the road. The cheek of asking for £5000, I felt ashamed for them...

WEX charged us for fuel we did not use
WEX charged us for fuel we did not use, for eg they charged us for fuel even though, the card had been stopped. We could only prove this because we had a tracker fitted to our car.
It took 4 months to get our money back, and they didn't give us any compensation for time and phone calls made.
Appalling customer service!
I will never use them again, and advise other companies to check their bills
