Chose to order from here because they had a decent selection of hard to find Spanish wines. I haven't received my order after more than two weeks and have no idea if it's ever coming. Customer service simply ignore your emails and the phone number is unattended. Take your custom elsewhere.

Quoted delivery dates are wrong. I was quoted 5-8 days and it was 20 days before I received my order. Customer service consisted of completely ignoring my request for a refund and instead telling me lies regarding issues with customs and issues with the truck! Do not use this company.
Quick and easy service
I placed my order on 03/12, had it confirmed the next day by email from them and it was shipped the day after. They gave me an estimate with UPS for 12/12 and my wine was delivered on 10/12, two days early. They were communicative all the way through, I will be ordering wine from them again as their service was excellent.
Yes the company is in Spain but with the speed they delivered you wouldn’t know.
Bad or non-existent customer service
Ordered via web site, tracking number provided not recognised for days. Eventual reply to email. No reply to messaging and calls to Spain-based (WhatsApp) phone number. No real customer service.
Excellent service in dealing with a breakage in transit
As a customer of Vinissimus from a few years ago, some of the reviews here caused me some apprehension when an issue arose in a recent order. However, I have to say that the service I received was exemplary.
The issue was a delay in the delivery, hence my concern. The delay was caused by a breakage in transit (which obviously was beyond Vinissimus' control). My order arrived a few days late, minus 1 bottle, repackaged by the carrier. I then contacted Vinissimus. I was assured that the missing bottle would be replaced and it duly arrived today.
All emails were answered promptly, politely and efficiently. I am pleased to say that I cannot fault the service and my experience was and is very positive.
On the negative side, it became apparent that the 0870 number on the website is no longer functional, and it should be removed. This, understandably, has caused frustration among other customers.
However, for my part, this did not outweigh the care and attention shown by the staff in dealing with the issue that arose and on balance I regard a five-star rating as justified.
Good wines but lack of info
I read a lot of bad reviews here but I’m going to give my honest opinion. The wines took a couple of weeks (a week longer than initially stated) but when I asked customer services they told me they were stuck in customs- basically not surprising since we came out of the European Union. The wines that arrived eventually were fine but there was one bottle fewer than ordered. When I queried this they gave a refund for the missing bottle. So all good but I think they could make it clearer that UK orders may take longer than the predicted date and they could have told me in advance that they weren’t sending all the wines. I won’t use again for this reason which is a shame as I love the wines and they did respond to the issues quickly via email.
Non existent customer service
I have used Vinissimus previously with no issues. However I placed an order in August which is nowhere to be seen.
I have attempted to contact Vinissimus via email, UK and Spanish phone number and social media dozens of times without response. Their phone line times out after 5 minutes every time you call.
I have resorted to marking the transaction as fraud with my credit card provider in the hope that gets Vinissimus’ attention.
I’ll never be using Vinissimus again and I suggest nobody else does.

Whilst they have a .co.uk website they are sending from Spain
While they have a .co.uk website , it turns out all wines are shipped from Spain. Unfortunately they make it worse by using UPS which in my experience never knowingly ever deliver anything close to on time. My order is now a week late and after bouncing around in trucks in the hot weather will doubtless be ruined by now. Avoid.
Misleading “UK” Store – Shipped via Spain & France in Summer Heat!
I ordered wine from Vinissimus thinking it was a UK-based store, since their website is .co.uk and they show prices in GBP.
In reality, the order was shipped from Spain, travelled through France, and finally reached the UK in 9 DAYS— in the middle of summer, with temperatures around 40°C. This is WINE, not canned goods.
When I realised the delay and risk, I asked them to cancel the order before delivery. They ignored my request and gave no response. By the time it arrived, the wine had already been on a long European road trip.
Completely misleading, unacceptable shipping practices, and poor customer service. I will never order from them again, and I strongly advise others to check reviews before buying.
This company is appalling
I wish I had read these reviews before purchasing. Ordered on 20th June and was advised on 02.07.25 it was on its way to be delivered on 08.07.25. This date came and went with no update. I contacted them on 09.07.25 and was told it was held up in customs . I received no contact until 21.07.25 when I was told it would be with me any day. This was the last contact. I have requested a refund and sent numerous emails but have had no response.
The company does not care and only exists to steal money. I have escalated to consumer standards in Spain and fully intend to chase via social media. Please don’t fall for this
Do not place an order with Vinissimus
I placed an order for 12 bottles on 19th June. On 18th July (3 weeks after the suggested delivery date) only 3 bottles arrived. Assuming there was another delivery arriving I unboxed and threw away the packaging. On chasing the remaining bottles I was informed that unless I could supply images of the shipping label, a photo of the outer and inner box and photos of the bottles received they could not make a claim with the shipping company. Effectively I have received 25% of a an order worth over £300 and I’ve been told there’s nothing they can do to complete my order or refund me. Effectively I’ve been robbed of £267!! Zero customer service, despite my being a loyal customer for over 5 years. I have made a claim with my bank to try and get the money back but for everyone else, please steer clear!
Good but status service still needs work.
Ive changed my mind. they are good but their digital customer service (ie status tracking and phone service needs work.
Shipment is a shambles …
I experienced problems with my last shipment but thought I would give the company a second chance.
Ordered more wine on June 11th, shipped on the 16th. Returned to the company by customs for incorrect paperwork.
Company stated they have re-processed my order on the 23rd and shipped it.
It’s now July 2nd and my shipment still hasn’t arrived.
Opened a case with PayPal for a refund, not sure if I will receive my shipment or my refund first.
I will not order from a company based in Spain carrying a UK web address again.
A total scam, avoid like the plague
Like everyone else on here, the oeder was never received and on calling "Customer Service" the call is never picked up after being connected. A total scam, avoid like the plague!!

Very frustrating to work with, They say things have been delivered when they have not been. I don not recommend at all.
Slow delivery
Really slow delivery for items in stock is very disappointing. I don't think I'd use them again. Over two weeks! Also 5 days after they said the courier had it??? No tracking details till the day of delivery. Something isn't adding up.

‘In stock and ready to ship’ means nothing.
My first order in February took 14 days to be delivered, despite all items being in stock and showing as a couple of days for delivery. My most recent order was placed on 01/01/2024 but was delivered yesterday missing one of the bottles. I contacted customer services who have dealt with a quickly and have arranged a refund for the missing bottle, along with a ‘Merry Christmas’ but it simply isn’t good enough. If I’d known that the order was going to take almost three weeks, I would’ve ordered our Christmas wine from elsewhere.
Absolutely awful experience -avoid!
Avoid, avoid, avoid - ordered wine on line but was delayed and then delayed again. Rang and emailed it goes into a void but not heard a thing - utterly disappointed as this was our Christmas wine. Seeing below I doubt I will hear anything and wish I had checked the Trust Pilot reviews.
Dreadful…..total scam.
Dreadful…..scammers in fact, with a premium rate phone line that keeps you on hold, but never reply’s….the wine (cava) I received is flat…opened two bottles and the corks had shrunk so much and they had force metal clips over the corks to keep them from leaking…dreadful…
All this, after I tried time and time again to cancel..
