Very good experience
I'm shocked at the recent reviews. I have purchased wines several times from Vinissimus and had no issues whatsoever. They offer a great wide range of wines, logistics are great,(by the way packaging is really good) and have to highlight that their customer service is amazing; quick, efficient and informative. I might have been lucky but all purchases I made with them have been very good. I'll keep buying from them and I strongly recommend this company. Thank you Vinissimus and keep doing what you do.
Avoid this company
Awful company. They sent me two wrong bottles of wine and their customer service was awful, rude and unprofessional. Their website is intentionally misleading and the pictures often don't correspond to the wine that you will receive. I will never use this website again and advise everyone to never use it.
This was my go to place for Spanish wine
This was my go to place for Spanish wines, however since Brexit most bottles I order have doubled in price.
As an example, rigol brut use to be about 3 euros, and is now nearly 7 pounds, I understand there is duty etc to add, however a similar Portuguese sight still manages to sell their wines at near enough the same price as it was pre Brexit, so not sure if this is just pure profiteering or not, but it doesn't make vinissimus the same value for money as it was pre brexit.
Awful customer service
I was sent a totally different looking bottle to the image that was on the website that I purchased and I had the most awful follow up customer service (13 emails exchanged with Eva) to the point that I had to argue to have a refund without an additional returns/collection charge because of their mistake.
Avoid this company at all costs
I ordered 12 bottles of wine on 20/12 . When the wine arrived it was the wrong vintage . I phoned customer services who had no idea whether it was mistake at the warehouse or they had sold out ! They agreed to pick up the wine and refund me . This was on 5/1 and the agreed date was 11/1 . I stayed in all day and the courier did not show up . I complained and they agreed on 12/1 at 8.23am to instruct the courier to pick the wine up on 17/1 . I had a hospital appointment at 10.00am on 12/1 and arrived back at 12.40pm and a few minutes later a courier arrived to pick up the wine . A little while later I found an email from the company timed at 12.14pm saying they apologised for all the inconvenience and trouble and that management had decided to let me keep the wine as a present . I asked the company to have the courier return the wine and they agreed to do that . After further exchanges of emails the company decided I could NOT have the wine as a present because the courier had delivered it back to their warehouse . I could not understand the logic in that statement and I challenged them of course but they were adamant I would not be receiving the wine back . I was not even offered a discount or a credit of any amount off future orders . Disgraceful .
The problem experienced has now been fixed. Hence improved star rating from 1 to 4.Thanks

After 3 orders with Vinissimus.co.uk I will no longer be ordering again until the below matter is resolved.
I have recently had a bad customer service experience after the pricing of the last offer, finished before the advertised end of offer deadline.
What that means is that a significant order would have been more expensive.
What started as a enquiry to rectify the matter, has deteriorated into a situation, that simply does not warrant any more spending with this firm, until it is resolved.
This order would have bought my total spend above £1000.00 with vinissimus.co.uk! So I would class myself as a good client.I am also a client that appreciates good customer service
The situation stems from the most recent offers, I received from vinissimus.co.uk, advertising discounted wines at special prices.This offer ran out at midnight of 9th January. (Please note again that the offer came from the vinissimus.co.uk registered web site). Naturally I assumed with this meant that I had time up to 24:00 GMT.(UK Time)
However after speaking with their customer services they refused to honour my screen shotted pricing at the better deal.
I tried to explain that their system is not respecting the offer prices as advertised, because it seems that these are dictated by vinissimus.com. What that means is the UK special pricing, ends at 11pm because Vinissimus.com offers are based on Central European Time clock and and NOT as advertised, the UK time of Midnight! So in effect 23:00 GMT was the end of the deal and not 24:00 GMT
I therefore have no intention of putting through any more orders until I receive a confirmation from vinissimus.co.uk that they will respect the offers that were being advertised, at the prices, my screen shots have shown they were at.
I also feel that this situation warrants an official complaint to British Trading Standards
Good selection but horrible delivery…
Good selection but horrible delivery service. I would not use this vendor as you will always have a delivery problem. I have never seen such incompetence. To be fair, the customer service at least try to be helpful but very little effect. AVOID !!!
Their couriers left 6 cardboard cases outside in pouring rain
The courier having given a very specific range of delivery times, they turned up early while we were out and left 6 cardboard cases in our back garden in the pouring rain…..
We are both in our 60’s with various health issues and had to just leave them there until it stopped raining. By this time the boxes had collapsed and fallen over.
Brexit issues now sorted, reliable and reputable
The Brexit hassles (long delivery times) are now behind this company and they are again delivering well and on time. I have used them for more than 5 years and they always deliver excellent customer service and the wine you carefully select. My last order - November 2021 - took about a week to arrive. Because of the failure of UK to agree a comprehensive trade deal with the EU this company like many others had to change the way they deliver to the UK. They have offered me discounts as an apology for the earlier delays. Vinissimus can't be blamed for the extra UK duty on each order that puts a few pounds on the price. I'm disappointed at how brutal some reviewers can be, but maybe as customers they only had immediate post-Brexit experience.
2 orders - 2 disappointments
2 orders, first, 2 months late being delivered and the wines had been “cooked” in transit.
The second had to be cancelled as after two weeks the wines had not been shipped - because they did not have 50% of the order.

No delivery issues UK
Have been using Vinissimus for many years with no problems but was wary of ordering post-Brexit. Read the reviews on Trustpilot, which seemed very negative due to UK delivery problems, but thought I would give it a go to find out for myself. Wine prices are up on their site (they are paying UK duty at their end) but on the other hand delivery charges are down. I ordered a case and while the order took longer to arrive than it would have pre-Brexit, the case arrived no problems and in line with my given delivery dates. So, I remain very happy with Vinissimus.
Speedy service, excellent packing
I have now received two cases of wine from Vinissimus. Be aware that they only dispatch to the UK once a week - on Thursdays I think. So if you order on Friday, there will be a longer turnaround. Also, if you order things that aren't in stock, it will take longer. From dispatch in Spain to arrival at my door seems to take 7-8 days, which I think is great. Packaging is excellent. Staff at Vinissimus are helpful - e.g. checking re substitutions if a vintage has run out - and the choice and price are excellent. I have had no Brexit- related hassles regarding duty costs - this is all factored into the price. So you are paying UK prices, but have a far greater range of choice than at any UK wine merchant. I am extremely happy with Vinissimus UK and will definitely be using them again
I would recommend to anyone in the UK that is not in a rush
Given the transportation issues of importing wines from the EU into the UK, I am not surprised there can be delayed in orders. I was patient and waited around 4wks for my order to arrive, slightly longer than the estimated initial timeframe. The wines come carefully boxed up and well protected. An excellent selection of Italian wines on the website. So cannot fault the selection and reasonably priced too. I would recommend to anyone in the UK that is not in a rush and wants to buy quality wines.

We placed an order with Vinissimus and were a bit worried reading the latest reviews. However, we did not need to worry. Yes, the shipment was delayed 5 days but the customer services team were quick answering and helpful in clarifying the reasons for this. They gave us an accurate timing for the arrival of the shipment. We are certainly very impressed and will order from them again.
My tip would be to order 2 or 3 weeks earlier than you would’ve had before Brexit which is I suspect is the reason behind the delays
Quick refound but complete waste of time - failed to arrange a return
Ordered two bottles of wine that I wanted to give as a present. They did not arrive on time within the delivery date so I asked for a refund, which I was given pretty quickly, and I was told they will cancel the delibery with UPS.
They finally delivered the wine, which I didn’t want anymore, more than a month later. As a gesture of good will I told them I would be happy to return the wine if they could arrange for a collection. I gave them my availability and they also failed to arrange the collection. They seem to think I need to be available 24/7 for them when delivering the wine was their mistake.
The customer service is not professional at all constantly blaming UPS and Brexit but not taking any responsibility for their mistakes. They have a serious problem on their supply chain. Will not be ordering from them again. COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME

Had my order £450+ for 4weeks and did not deliver. Blamed UPS but when I checked with UPS they said they were not experiencing problems. Asked for refund and am still waiting. Absolute con !
UPS is not the problem they are
As with other buyers in UK apparently UPS are the problem but actually if they had customer service they would have sorted by now with another delivery service. I ordered my wine over 7 weeks ago only because I received an email saying they had sorted out their delivery issues with the UK. It is a great shame as their wine choice has always was very good. I really want the wine and loathed to ask for refund knowing how painful that will also be.
