They could not generate the code to unlock my Samsung S6. In spite of the disappointment, the communication has been good. 24 hours after I have received the email admitting that they cannot unlock my phone, I was able to get 100% of my refund instantly through their refund site.

Paid for an unlock code.

After 24 hours got an email stating they could not get one for me and that they would reimburse me within five days.

Quick to take the money slow to give it back, most disappointing.

I really wish I had looked here first 😦 the exact same thing happened I will be reporting this to paypal TOTAL SCAM avoid avoid avoid

my request couldn't have been simpler. if they couldnt do that, then they never unlocked a phone. These should be reported to trading standards if not the police... con artists

Unfortunately we have been unable to calculate your unique unlock code at this time. This could have been down to a number of factors from the age of the handset to the code simply not being in our unlock code database or partners database.

You will be refunded in full.

It seems, now that I have used them on three separate occasions, all failed. This company is unable to unlock and do not provide a refund as advised on the website. The first use I didn't bother following up on the refund and wonder how many busy people don't bother following up?? However, the recent two occasions are being passed for investigation via PayPal complaints unless a refund is received forthwith.

failed to unlock 2 devices in 2 days, told me on both occasions they would send a code to my phones within minutes, then after they received PAYMENT, they sent email saying they couldn't do it straight away and had to wait for 24hrs, in 24hrs i received a email saying they couldn't unlock either of them due to unforeseen circumstances, or the handsets could be to old to unlock "WHAT A LAUGH THAT WAS". they said i would receive refund in 5 days DIDNT GET ONE, had to chase them using pay pal 8 days later. then i found out if YOU ARE on pay as you go, with EE 02 or ORANGE i can get a code free straight from EE. so i did that and am currently waiting for my FREE UNLOCK CODE FROM EE.

Paid to get an s4mini unlocked. Got an email about 23hrs later to say they where unable to provide a code due to it maybe not being on their database and maybe because of the phones age. Such a load of c##p. One hr later I got the unlocking code from another phone. Still waiting on my money being refunded!!!!!

I unfortunately didn't read the reviews on Trustpilot before trying to get a code through this company. Just as described by others, 24 hours later no code but the promise of a refund in five days. It is just a con, i think they work on the principle that some people won't chase the refund. I know they pay for ads on Google, but until these sort of things are removed, Google will never have my full trust.

Best to completely avoid this company ... despite their website being full of guarantees they ultimately couldn't unlock my Nokia but the promised refund hasn't appeared. Now I'm left chasing PayPal for a refund. Wonder how many others are in the same boat?

They claim to provide you the unlock code instantly or within hours in certain cases but nothing happen. The only way to contact them is via their site where you "ask" a question that will never be answered...
All the good review are indian people and obviously part of the scam...
it's a shame that Paypal authorize them to use it as a guaranty!!!

I entered all the relevant details into the Unlock-Code-Shop web page and – paid via Paypal.
True to their word, they came back after 24 hours. However, instead of an unlock code, I got an e-mail telling me that they could not supply one and I would be refunded, stating – “Please allow 5 days for the refund to show in your account”.
I waited SIX days and no refund was forthcoming, so I contacted Unlock-Code-Shop informing them that if I was not reimbursed within 48 hours – I would take the matter up with Paypal. A couple of hours later, I was reimbursed.
This could be a coincidence and the refund may have been “in the pipeline” but it did take six days. In my opinion, you will be better off contacting your service provider for an official unlock code, instead of paying upfront for the - possibility - of an unlock code.
