Don't do it !!!! And read reviews before..still didn't get money back and respond for my emails ...
Good I paid by PayPal and will open dispute...

Unable to provide an unlock code for a standard Samsung Galaxy s5.

I had to chase to get a response. Raised a claim with PayPal and finally got a standard reply.
Still to get refund.

Wish I'd read these reviews first :(

i gave a score of 3 because i got refunded.only ordered it sunday morning .got my refund monday 4pm they couldnt get my code samsung a300fu.i payed through paypal .so i requested my refund which they said could take four days ..anyway got it within ten minutes .using the paypal request ...so i never got ripped off or stung..so all in all .cant really fault them. they tried couldnt do it and refunded ... 26:3:18 4.30pm .' a legit customer from birkenhead wirral

Code worked first time and was cheaper than I had been quoted at my local repair shop, it did take a bit over 24 hours but they kept me updated while I was waiting.

A f**king joke. Still waiting for a refund. Don't use this company.

Avoid... they will never unlock your phone . 2 stars because i get a instant refund via Paypal.

Same as everyone else, quote comes up as £1.99, then jumps to £4.79, email stating code not available, will be sent within 24 hours. Guess what nothing happened, google theunlockdepot.com and get a full refund in 10 minutes back through paypal. Then went to vodafone shop who gave me code for nothing, unlocked in moments for free. Don't mind paying for something when you get want you paid for, not happy when you end up getting scammed for it

Has the Unlock Code-shop ever successfully unlocked a phone? I somehow doubt it, I paid for a unlock code for my Alcatel A3 XL all I got in reply is the message below

Unfortunately we have been unable to calculate your unique unlock code at this time. This could have been down to a number of factors from the age of the handset to the code simply not being in our unlock code database or partners database.

You will be refunded in full.

Please allow 5 days for the refund to show in your account.

I am very sorry we were unable to unlock your handset on this occassion and we would hope you will consider us for any other unlocking codes you may require in the future.

Ordered unlock code for Samsung A5 at cost of £4.79 was told would take up to 24 hours. 24 hours later I got an email telling me they can’t unlick the phone and telling me I’ll get a refund in 5 days.

Do not use this company. The only thing I can think of is that they are using this to collect data on PayPal accounts to sell on.

Quite clearly benefiting from holding people's money. They wait until the last minute and respond with they cant unlock my phone. Here is there response:

Use Direct Unlocks .co.uk but read carefully.

This is a con. Taken my money but never received the code...

Request 2 codes October 2017 usual story wait 24 hours sorry can't generate a code will refund in 5 days (paid in 5 seconds) received one refund after chasing (2 weeks) 4th email today still one refund outstanding. Local shop unlocked both in less than half an hour. Speaks for itself

I filled in the form and sent the payment via PayPal. They responded that unfortunately they cannot unlock my phone and would refund me within five days, this was the end of October now it’s the beginning of January. If you try to lodge a dispute with PayPal they will show you a link to use where you enter your PayPal email address and you’d get an immediate refund. I won’t recommend using this website.

What a suprise, just like others, no code can be provided, i really wouldnt waste your time with these places, just go direct to the phone company it is lockled with. EE will do my sony for £8.99, if i had owned it for more than a year it would have been free

What a rip off. There site states immediate unlock code for 1.95. You go to pay your paymemy and it has shot up to 4.95. But you bite the bullet and pay it. then you get told we cannot generate your code immediately and it will be posted within 24 hours. I havnt waited 24 hours I went to my service provider and got the code for free within 1 hour.

Been like a day and half now, and no code, they say they unable to unlock my samsung core lte.
I see a lot of others on here have the same problem. looks like a scam for sure, im going to contact paypal about this. They will not return emails either

took them the entire day to come back and say they cant do it. the same story as everyone else on this site.Now have run after them for my money

Ordered an unlock code 9th November received email 10th November to say they couldn't supply a code & I would get a full refund in 5 days. Still no refund today 20th November. Having paid via PayPal & reading a previous review were they got their refund via PayPal I went to PayPal site. On there unlock code shop have an instant refund link which I completed & refund was in my PayPal account within a couple of minutes & email received a couple of minutes after to say refund going to the card I used to pay with. Would have been helpful if Unlock code shop told me go to PayPal after 5 days to claim the refund rather than give the impression it would be done automatically
