Very good company
Very good company, quick and easy, flexible and they make sure everything is okay for your spending - the only thing that lets them down is their interest, but that’s inevitable with loan companies. I don’t have the best credit either and got accepted. They also are very informative but do not hound you.

Avoid like the plague!
Avoid. When claiming for data on my credit file to be deleted, and interest to be repaid they show their true colours.
Accusations of lying on my application (but failing to show proof of this) ignoring my emails requesting data held about me, and refusing to provide me with any of my application details to name a few issues!
They claimed to have checked my income prior to lending after my second loan.
This is a lie. I had no income.
They claim to have emailed to asked my income/expenditure.
Another lie. Luckily I have the original email asking for expenditure only.
Anyone thinking of taking a loan with these people, please watch the ITV documentary on them first!!
Gaining a refund was not my main priority. I simply wanted the data relating to this company deleted from my credit records, after being told previously that nothing would show!
I have now had no choice but to refer to the ombudsman, where, coincidentally, they lose the majority of their cases for irresponsible lending, and end up paying out a fortune.
Uncle Buck could have sorted this without paying me a penny!

In addition Uncle Buck uphold rate by FOS is below the average in “banking and credit” for all businesses for complaints resolved in the 6 month period to 31 December 2018.
We consider that these statistics demonstrate our approach to responsible lending is robust, tested and fit for purpose. We work hard to provide our customers with the best outcomes on a fair basis without the necessity to refer their complaint to the FOS, which helps resolution to be achieved more quickly.

DO NOT USE. Leech of a company. Take you to court over a small amount of £200 borrowed (which now £515). Lend irresponsibly, hound you then take you to court. Will be referring this to Ombudsman

Quick and easy from application to money in the bank. I liked getting an email reminder three days prior to payment date and another with an overview of my account once payment received. I always knew where I was with this loan. Would highly recommend Uncle Buck and will apply again in the future.

They harass you straightaway if your payments a few hours late
Borrowed £100, paying back £170 altogether at £10 a week. All fine. All good. My second ten pound payment is due today but a bill went out before I could transfer more money in. By 10:30AM today, I’ve had an email, a text and two missed calls over £10! I feel hounded so rang the number to tell them so and explained they’d be paid today. The girl on the phone apologised but also said she couldn’t guarantee the calls wouldn’t keep coming until payment was made.
It’s stressed me out and made me feel harassed over £10. Imagine if you took out a 1k loan and couldn’t make a payment. I can’t imagine how unbearable they’d be.
AVOID.
Also rang their complaints department twice and no one answers.
