Great company for a loan. I found the process straightforward from start to finish.

Bombarded me with calls, even told them I wasn't interested they continued to call me. My circumstances make me a vulnerable customer. Totally irresponsible behaviour. Currently have a complaint being investigated. But I have little faith this will be sorted adequately

So after receiving a final response it has proven a bit of a nightmare trying to get several agents to see sense in what i was trying to offer which turned out to be in my opinion a very fair resolution for both sides.

After several frustrating calls i got a Call back from Ops manager Zoe Quick who was professional, understanding, sympathetic and even went above and beyond to offer myself additional help and advice and more importantly accept my resolution.

She is a credit to the company and i would give her 5 stars personally. However happy that this saga has now finally concluded.

Not had a problem, quick service, little niggle to start with regarding repayment on my pay day they tried to take out too early morning, my wage hadn't gone in to my bank, but a quick phone call sorted it out, no issues after,

First time using this company. The reason I gave 2 stars; payments due to be collected on set day - pay day; however, my wages don’t hit my bank account until 10.30 a.m. The harassment was awful. Happened to every instalment due & had to telephone them to repay. There was no suitable alternative date such as 2 days post pay day when I made the application. The staff were generally ok though when I called

I agree with one of the other reviewers that wrote about borderline harassment. I’ve got a loan with this company and my monthly instalment is due today. The money didn’t come out of my account automatically first thing this morning as I haven’t received the credit I was expecting into my account yet.
It’s 13:05pm and as I write this message I’ve had two text messages and four phone calls from Uncle Bucks since 8am!!!!
Mind you I’m not in arrears nor have I missed a payment yet as we’re still on my due date. Yet Uncle Bucks have contacted me 6 times since 8am. That’s EVERY HOUR!!! I spoke to one of their customers service reps who said he’ll put a stop to it until the end of today (by which point I’d have paid the money due) but that was two hours ago and they’ve since called twice and text once.
DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR!!!

I used Uncle Buck for over a year; always repaying early or on time and suddenly my applications are declined! They advertise that they help people with poor credit but this is not true now that they have gained popularity. Poor form!

Uncle Buck is one of the best loan company's I've seen. I have looked at others ( Peachy for example) but the rates are better at uncle buck. A trusted company you can be confident with

Complaint lodged with FOS for irresponsible lending. Adjudicator found in my favour (in December last year) for a number of loans but UB insisted on sending it to the financial ombudsman, so the process drags on.

Friendly staff, easy application and quick money would recommend 100% thank you for a 5* service

My card was expiring at the end of the month and after speaking to a member of staff to advise them that I had not received card yet and that I would call when I had received it I was then bombarded with 7-10 calls EVERYDAY, where I explained the same thing over and over.😡

Completely unprofessional, no priori checks done into affordability apart from a few questions, never asked to provide evidence but still issued with loans. Was clear I was in financial difficulty from my credit report and was looking for a last resort but no sympathy was shown, just constant emails and calls demanding payment forcing me into a debt management plan and causing incredible harm to my mental health. Never fully checked, too quick to issue with a loan and not enough time spent into true affordability and health criteria. Absolutely disgusting company. Already had a complaint rejected, will be taking further as I feel completely let down. Sad that I have to resort to leaving a review on here to try and get some form of response out of them. Embarrassing.

Have to agree with the last review.. financial ombudsman agreed in my favor still awaiting a refund.. I can clearly remember when they phoned my employer when I missed a payment to ask for it.. this was very embarrassing also the 25 phone calls in a day should I of missed a payment..

Well now, responded to uncle buck on the 18/04/2019 they still haven't replied obviously... What customer service hmmm does not seem to exist..

Ombudsman made a decision in my favour on 28th March regarding irresponsible lending. I've not had any contact from Uncle Buck, despite me emailing on 7th April and receiving a reply saying I would get a response in 3 days. Shocking. Why can't you just do as the Ombudsman has advised? I'm pretty sure if it was the other way round and they had found in your favour you would be harassing me with emails and calls for the money owed
