Abysmal customer service
Apparently £5K gambling, defaults, 8 other pay day loans and 3 credit cards at max - is not enough to point towards the loans being unaffordable - genuinely gobsmacked.
Money shop this morning in liquidation - Uncle Buck won't be long behind - FOS uphold rate against them is over 90% so don't give up - get your complaints in NOW before they cease to trade.

We have already responded to your previous review on trustpilot. The information you have stated is factual incorrect. Our complaint “uphold” rate with the Financial Ombudsman is currently one of the lowest in the HCSTC sector can be reviewed here: http://www.ombudsman-decisions.org.uk/
It is 35% and not as you state 90%. I can also confirm that we are NOT about to go into liquidation. As previously stated we will co-operate with the Financial Ombudsman.

Dreadful company first of all gave out…
Dreadful company first of all gave out loan to my son who was a student with no income and now after multiple attempts to pay it off they make it impossible to do so.
Have called multiple times with all info necessary to pay but each time they come up with another bit of data protection info they want.
Presumably they are charging more interest by deLaying payment
DONT GO NEAR THEM!
Have wasted hours on this

Awful
I have made a affordability complain that uncle buck refused. I went to the financial ombudsman and they have made the assessment that I they should pay me back for one of my loans. My adjudicator has told them to pay this to me but uncle buck are not responding to my adjudicator despite him giving them extra time. Poor customer service with complaints and not even co-operating with the financial ombudsman.

Irresponsible Lending
Made a complaint about irresponsible lending by this Company. Rather than accept my complaint and discuss with me, they have decided to blame me for getting into the 'payday lending trap'.
I have now reported this company to the Ombudsman, who I am sure will be interested to know why this Company lent money to me when I had 'poor' credit rating, no salary paid into Bank, and on benefits.

Everything was just as expected reminders were early and priciest to when you loan was ready to be paid. I had to chsnge my pay dat due to a change in works pay day chang and the person i spoke to was more than happy to help definitely recommend thank you to all the team at uncle buck

Customer service was great
I've read some of the negative reviews and can honestly say I experienced something quite different. I took a small loan out to cover the cost of something I wanted. I kept up with my first 2 repayments then paid off the final 2 paymets early. When I called them to do so the advisor (who I believe was a manager) was very helpful, explained everything clearly and couldn't have been more polite.

Avoid!
Very bad company to deal with, make mistakes and never admit to it.
Have left a bad mark on my credit report for over 7 years and refuse to mark it correctly so will not go away. My advise stay clear of this corrupt company.
There only interested in lining there pockets with your misfortune!
