I have been to watch a few of these events and taken part & I think they are great.

The training is free so we had to get some friends to get tickets, all seemed very reasonable.

I would 100% recommend.

Absoulte joke of a company. The fact that they have not replied to 90% of these 1 star poor reviews tells it's own story.

The worst organised event for Birmingham. Just been told the video didn't work and we were not allowed, to get someone to video it but was told our friends could makes no sense. We raised enough money on ticket sales to be able to afford for the event to be recorded on something better than a gopro that now we find out didn't work.

I am appalled at this company. On 06/07/2024 I boxed at Gateshead. To start with, the rounds were cut short to 90 second rounds. What I am really upset about is what happened because I believe my opponent was getting beat, he decided to grab hold of me and lift me in the air and then spine bust me through the canvas which in boxing is prohibited (See images attached). I banged my head firmly against the canvas leaving me concussed for days unable to continue, and I thought I had seriously injured my back. This should in my honest opinion have amounted to a Disqualification but the referee gave the decision of a win by stoppage to my opponent which is the wrong decision. The referee can clearly see the tackle (see photos). My guests left the venue in disgust. I contacted UWCB on numerous occasions sending over 10 emails. They ignored almany of my emails and eventually responded. They said that they had spoken to a few referees and wanted to talk to me on the phone. I replied saying there is nothing to discuss, and I simply requested a written reply but they are refusing to do that. They are also not arguing to say that it was right, which goes to show in my opinion that the decision was wrong. All I have asked for is for them to put the decision right by confirming it should have been a Disqualification and say sorry, I have not asked for much. I raised money for charity and committed to 8 weeks training, working hard and selling the minimum 10 tickets at £267 to have this done to me and them not even care. I will not give this organisation the time or day after this horrible experience.

Greedy company trying to paint themselves as charitable, they paint the picture that "they" raise money for charity - they dont! All participants are expected to raise £50 each, and then sell at least 10tickets at £25 each, NONE of the ticket money goes to charity so actually ultra take no part in raising money for anyone other than Jon Leonard who runs both ultra events and ultra tickets (who charge a 10% booking fee for themselves making the ticket price £27.50), ultra do not advertise the event nor help with selling tickets and if you dont sell 10 you're kicked off and they wont refund what you HAVE sold, so for the comedy they expect friends and family to pay £27.50 each to see us perform for 5 minutes each, you are better off searching for local open mic nights and getting into comedy that way rather than lining the pockets of someone who pretends their motives are to raise money for charity

Advertised as do five minutes for charity. This is a huge half truth!
The first e-mail says they need you to sell 10 tickets and raise £50 for charity, this seems very reasonable. What they don't tell you is the date that the event is on and how much the tickets are. The tickets are £25, £25 to see a friend or family do 5 mins of amateur comedy. For not much more you can see Jason Manford do 2 hours! On the first meeting they had 75 people, if everyone sells the 10 tickets they will make nearly £20,000. Not a single penny of that will go towards charity only the money you raise goes towards the charity. I understand there are some costs but I'm quite confident that it doesn't cost £20,000 to run one night.

I was posted in the leader board for raising so much for charity twice, then got a text saying as I had not sold 5 tickets. Make them £125, I was not going to be performing.

If you fancy doing comedy go to a local open mic and you will have a lovely time. This company, and it is a company needs to be avoided.

I booked white collar boxing tickets and they changed the venue and date just before the event with no email advising, I found out on fb. I couldn’t make the new one so asked for a refund and was told no as it’s in their Ts&Cs that they can change what they like and it’s basically tough if you can’t make it.

Hahahahahahaha if you have paid on your credit card simply raise a dispute stating that you booked the tickets on the understanding that it was at a certain time and location and they changed it. They will of course argue and send your credit card company their Ts&Cs but they are about as useful as an underwater
hairdryer.

When they issue this response to your dispute simply state that it is not reasonable to expect the consumer to accommodate a change in location and date. When the contract was for the original time/date. Also point your credit card provider in the direction of all the wonderful TripAdvisor reviews on how this now seems to be common practice for this absolute s**t show of a company.

The dispute was found in my favour, because you cannot advertise an event then change it without offering a refund no matter what your Ts&Cs say.

Scammers, went to see my mate fight and was asked to leave just before his fight by the security with no good excuse.

I went to the Planet Ice Ultra MMA

First of all I paid VIP for a 3.30pm. They didn’t start letting people into 4.00pm.

Worst of all, the building was freezing, no warning beforehand that the venue might be cold and the seats were not that stable and wet. There was leaking water above.

Also people were not allowed to stand up and cheer. I completely understand if it standing ip meant blocking people’s view or if people standing meant people moving around, but there was none of that.

The people who got the standing ticket could go upstairs and sit anyway 🥴. What is the point of VIP if people paid for standing probably had a better view because they could stand and sit.

Judging by the reviews below, it seems this company does not care about the service they provide.

Don't buy, they never answer the phone!

Dreadful company, awful customer service and very scammy. When they changed their venue and date I realised I could no longer attend, not only they gave zero sh**s but was blunt and stated it was not their problem, that their event, that they profit from has changed venue and date meaning I cannot attend. I emailed asking for a refund, They replied saying will not give a refund and that others would face the same issue as me. Great. Well Done. What an ethical company. After my first email, I gave a fair response and to that I got a copy and pasted response from previous email. They do not care and should not be allowed to operate, whoever runs this company I hope you realise this will catch up to you and when you start seeing your profits drop, know its because you have the worst customer service I have ever seen. Try being decent in future.

Absolutely disgraceful, We missed 1hr 15 mins of the event due to security being so so we could not get in, About another 100 ticket holders also did not get in on time, The fights we came to see a great cost we missed, They did not give a damm, It’s all about making money, I’ve attend quite a few of these events but from now on I will not attend due to the way I’ve been treated, be warned

My family and I attended an Ultra White Collar Boxing event that took place at the Spelthorne Leisure Centre, near Windsor on 8th July, which my son participated in. From the beginning of the event, it was evident that there was a severe lack of organization. Despite arriving in plenty of time, my family and I, along with many other attendees, were left queuing outside the for an extended period. The queuing area offered minimal shade, despite the event being a black tie affair and many attendees, including myself, were wearing full suits. The lack of progress in the queue was perplexing, considering it was a ticket-only event. This situation was further exacerbated by the fact that my family had purchased VIP tickets and already possessed wristbands for entry. Only after enduring an extensive wait and having missed the fighters' introductions did a staff member call for wristband holders to come forward, allowing us to finally enter the venue.
Upon entering, my sister attempted to address the lack of organization with one of the door staff. However, instead of acknowledging the issue, the staff member displayed rudeness and even threatened to remove her from the premises. It is disheartening that a simple request for courtesy and acknowledgment was met with such a negative response. The disorganization continued after we found our table. The table service which is included as part of the VIP package, was unbearably slow, especially considering the prolonged wait outside in the heat. However, despite our efforts, we were unable to attract the attention of the table staff. Several members of our party eventually resorted to joining the lengthy queue at the bar, which was an entirely unacceptable situation considering the extra cost of these services.
However, my most serious complaint pertains to my son's fight and the unsuitable pairing he was assigned. It was immediately apparent from the official line-up photos that this pairing was highly mismatched, as Max towered over my son by almost a full head height. While I understand that pairings take into account factors such as fitness, skill, and experience, I conducted some research myself. It took me no more than five minutes of searching on Facebook to discover that his opponent holds a black belt in at least one martial art, whereas my son had explicitly stated his lack of prior fighting experience. If I could uncover this information, it raises questions as to why the organizers did not take similar measures. Proper due diligence in assessing each participant's background should have been conducted to ensure fair and safe matchups. This pairing was not only unfair but also unsafe, and undermines the credibility of the event.
During the fight, which lasted a mere 40 seconds before being stopped by the referee, my son demonstrated courage and determination. I wish to emphasize that my concern is not rooted in being a sore loser, but rather the unfair and unsafe pairing that occurred. I would have accepted my son's defeat in a fair fight. However, it is evident that this match was neither fair nor safe, and it is imperative to reevaluate the decision-making process involved. Please be assured that this is not only the opinion of myself and my family. Several of the other participants also messaged my son after the fight to express similar opinions.

I wrote to Ultra Events in the week following this event, detailing these concerns, with a request that they Improve overall organization and communication to prevent delays and provide a more enjoyable experience for attendees.
Ensure that VIP ticket holders receive the services they have paid for, including efficient table service and that they conduct thorough assessments and research when pairing fighters to guarantee fair and safe matches. At the time of writing, some 3 months later I am still awaiting a response, hence my writing this review here.

Pre Covid cancelled event, request refund as new date was unfeasible. Was refused and directed to a T&C's that basically is a back of cigarette packet legal stance.

Could take further, but for the money it's not worth the hassle and time taking to small claims to prove their position is unenforceable.

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid.

Was charged twice for an Ultra White Collar Boxing event after the page ‘glitched’ during checkout. I was sent 2 emails with 2 separate order numbers, only minutes apart. I repeatedly tried to contact them, both via the online form and by phone, but they never responded or picked up. After about a month of not being able to get in contact (which seems to be deliberately designed that way), I had to raise the case with my bank, who refunded me via a chargeback. I would recommend using a Visa card to purchase from this company if you *really* have to, as I’ve generally had success with disputes (via chargeback) when having issues with companies not refunding me.

DO NOT use this robbing company ! They moved venue 26 miles away. We cant get there asked for our money back over two months before the event. They wont refund we have had to go yo get help from trading standards!! They are a disgrace and are just robbing people. Stay away

Booked tickets £450 for VIP table . UWCB CANCELLED at the last minute just days before. Won't refund. They have rescheduled for a date most of the table can't make in July. After looking further into them their safety record is highly questionable and regardless of losing the money my son won't be fighting in their match. Their customers service is terrible. The boxer have to sell 10 tickets way in advance to be able to fight. Total unorganized rip off.

Simple, straight forward process. Events was fun, ran well. Security were checking bags and dress code which made for a nice safe night.

I got sold fake tickets by the fighter and white collar boxing won't even return my calls how can you do this to some one £180 on tickets and the tickets are fake
