Arranged for full service at my home. Got text confirmation would be with me between 10am and 12pm.
At 1pm got a phone call to let me know the guy was going to be late!?
He arrived 420pm. I had no problem with him, he was very polite and courteous.
My annoyance was the lateness of the call and service. I specifically booked for the morning but ended up changing my plans to accommodate the AA, rather than them fulfilling the agreement. Won’t be using them again.

Don't bother. The car went into the MoT bay at 9:45am. I went back to the garage mid afternoon to find out the result, only for the garage to ak if I had had an email from AA Smart Care. When I said "No", the garage said ring AA Smart Care since the garage wasn't authorised to tell me directly the outcome. Over the phone, I managed to drag out of AASC that the car had failed for one major defect and there were three advisories. Before the garage could release the car back to me, I would have to respond to an email AASC would send to either approve the garage to complete all the work, just the major defect rectification or none at all. The issue was that AASC's serve was down and AASC were unable to send the email. The email didn't arrive until 10 minutes before the garage closed for the day. The major defect work was duly authorised and the advisory work declined. The garage then received an email providing them with my authorisation (kind of bizarre since I was in the garage talking to the owner about the situation). The garage duly set in motion the process for completing the major defect (one of those dead easy to repair defects), which they completed the next working day. However, yet again, the communication from AASC to me was appalling. It took AASC a further three days, yes, three days, to inform me that the work had been completed after the work had actually been done. If I could give the AA Smart Care administration team ZERO stars I would. In complete contrast, the garage doing the work did a great job of testing and fixing the car and explaining how the AASC process works, or more accurately, doesn't work.

Excellent service from start to finish, seamless process and very very reasonable on cost
This is the first time I have used their services, will definitely return
Easy to book a date for my MOT at a local garage (4 miles away, none available in my town). I did this one week before the selected date.
Received several emails which said the appointment time would be sent nearer the date of the MOT. On the day before I received an email which said I should take my car to the garage at 8.30am and be prepared to wait for the Test to happen any time during the day. Not at all happy with this, so I phoned the garage myself on the day of the Test and confirmed a specific time.
The garage was excellent.
Can’t argue with the price.

Booked to have brake discs and pads changed,after an initial delay on parts.when mechanic arrived all done and dusted in less than an hour.very impressed.
AA massively let me down the Custer service was so bad no one would talk to me a hug called Rob on WhatsApp was rude showed bad customer service was unprofessional and showered no empathy the call needs to be listened to and he need retraining.
Yiu have no back up emergency back up system as your system crashed and no one updated me on the issues with my car and also you didn’t rehire what the garage had stated what was needed.
This hasn’t be the most stressful and now very costly service and MOT AA YOU FAILED THIS Custoner AND IW ILL NAKEBAURE ALL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY BE WARNED NOT TO USE YOU.

I am writing to express my frustration with the service I've received regarding my vehicle.
On two separate occasions now, my requests for assistance have simply been turned down. Frankly, this is not the level of service I expect, and the lack of availability and consistency has caused me real inconvenience — inconvenience that could easily have been avoided.
I want to be clear: this isn't a minor gripe. Being let down twice in a short space of time raises serious questions about the reliability of your service, and I think it's only fair that other customers are made aware of these issues too.

Was supposed to call me first thing in the morning and never did. Booked time slot for am and before 12 midday. Didn't come till 2 o'clock. I had to ring the company around 11 o'clock as I heard nothing so communication isnt the best. The bloke who came though was spot on and couldn't fault him at all so credit to him. But when your expecting a call as per email states with a time slot and not receiving one is pretty poor in my eyes.

Using smart care supposed to be stress free and deal with any problems through them. But first problem with car, contacted smart care and was told to deal direct with the garage, because there computers were down.
Smart Care, not so smart. Wont be using them again.
