The lady who looked after our children was super. When we were 15 mins over our time it wasn’t any bother to her, she came on time & when my daughter came downstairs she put her back to bed without any drama.

Let down twice by the same sitter. Both planned nights cancelled, costing loss of table deposit at restaurant for rare night out (£150) sitters didn’t care. impossible to contact for help at short notice. Non reliable service, and expensive. Don’t waste your time.

Amazing service and the new app makes payments really quick and easy.

Our daughter was initially hesitant about starting daycare, but the staff was amazing at helping her transition. They took the time to make her feel comfortable and secure. Now, she can’t wait to go each day! The structured yet flexible schedule allows her to explore her interests while also participating in group activities. I love that they incorporate music, art, and even basic science into the daily routine. The communication is fantastic, and we appreciate the regular parent-teacher meetings to discuss her progress. It’s clear that the staff is dedicated to providing the best possible experience for the kids. Highly recommend!

So helpful and flexible

Fiona made contact beforehand which was reassuring. On arrival, she was kind and caring with all of the children; especially our youngest who was a little nervous.
We had a couple of updates during the evening to put our minds at rest.
The children enjoyed their time with Fiona and are looking forward to next time.

I must preface this review by saying how reliable and valuable this USED to be before the app. I have used Sitters App several times since inception and never get a confirmation from my preferred sitters, or anyone else. It’s not fit for purpose. My preferred sitters privately have confirmed their availability but they accept the job and the app doesn’t accept their acceptance, so it remains unfilled. I’ve had their customer services try to resolve the issue through their technical IT team but it didn’t work so I had to privately book the job on one occasion and abandon my bookings on others, which worries me, as it cannot be relied upon anymore, and, if booked without the app, there’s an insurance gap, should something go wrong- not ideal for either party or, the child.
As prefaced, this service was stellar via the web site- I could make requests at the last minute and without fail, I had four different sitters over time who were all excellent, had experience, were calm and kind with my baby. I’d love it if the app was abandoned. I understand one of my preferred sitters has now left the sitters app as it is so appallingly unreliable. PLEASE FIX! It was a brilliant service in so many ways before - why change a bad thing?

Efficient service and new app is a great addition.

Last night I had my first booking since the new app came in. Worked fine until payment, the parent was unaware she had to pay via the app which made it very awkward. Awaiting payment to go in to my bank after expecting it to clear within 2 hours but after hearing from a friend it took a week and now seeing all the reviews from sitters to say they had to wait 4 days for payment. Unfortunately this isn't a service that works for me, babysitting to me is payment on exit, it should be an option to pay card or cash and the money should be instant. I can see on the reviews that the issues came up mid October and technical teams were looking in to it but still no progress a month later? Will it actually change? Accepting sutters bookings will be done with hard thoughts if I'm willing to wait a week for payment especially with Christmas coming up.

I have been with sitters since 2016. The new app has made me not want to be with them. Last weekend i had a cancelation but the family very kindly paid half as compensation. That was Saturday it is now Wednesday and still no money, why ???. Why did Sitters feel the need to stop the family paying direct either by cash or bank transfer

Sitters has been a godsend at a time i needed some respite dealing with my hyperactive son. The child carers are all very experienced and hands on fulfilling their commitments, my number 1 go to for child care from now on. thank you sitters.

Sitters have made it easier to leave my little one with their dependable associates who are very helpful and also well trained to help our little ones in their care.

Sitter was excellent. Definitely will try to rebook with her. But payment through the app was a problem. Needed to chase main sitters team to get payment sorted as app being set up. Hopefully next time should be smoother

I feel I can trust Sitters and everyone that they add to their roster. Every experience has been 5 star, exemplary and wonderful for our child so far.
