At SHOWW, patient safety and compliance with telemedicine and federal prescription laws are our top priorities. When signing up for a prescription medication like Tirzepatide, all patients are required to complete a detailed medical intake, which includes uploading a valid ID (e.g., driver’s license) and a full-body photo to confirm eligibility (BMI of 27 or higher). For those requesting a higher starting dose, proof of a previous prescription is also needed so our doctor can approve it safely. These steps replace an in-person or video visit and ensure we meet legal and medical standards.

In your case, we received an image of a door instead of a valid ID, and the required body photo and proof of prior prescription were not provided. Without this information, our doctor could not approve your prescription, and your order was canceled promptly to avoid any delays. We communicated this to you multiple times through our secure patient portal and offered guidance on how to submit the correct details. Unfortunately, we couldn’t proceed further without the completed intake.

Regarding your bank transaction concern, we want to clarify our process, which is outlined on our website, FAQs, and checkout page. When a patient signs up, we place a temporary authorization hold on the credit card to verify its validity and prevent fraud. This is standard practice to ensure a smooth process for everyone, including our doctors, who are compensated as soon as they review a file. No charge is processed until the doctor approves the prescription and the pharmacy fills the order. In your case, since the order was canceled, no charge was made, and the authorization hold was released, typically dropping off within 1-3 days depending on your bank.

We regret that we couldn’t resolve this over the phone as you requested. For privacy and security reasons, we can only handle sensitive health and order information through secure channels like our patient portal or chat system. This protects both you and our team.

That’s why patients start at a lower dose and slowly work their way up. This is totally normal. Don't give up now – you're doing great, and your body will adjust to the medication over time.
