Very happy customer here

Brought a house that had see the light and they seemed expensive and had slower speeds than others, so shopped around and found Rocket fibre.

It’s been active for 2 weeks and it’s working very well. I have 960 down and 960 up consistently. Everything is working perfectly.

I had quite a lot of questions which were answered very quickly and with great knowledge. Superb support.

The only issue I’ve had is the the eero routers don’t work with my Hypervolt ev charger so I changed to tp-link deco and now all is great.

In summary - very happy and impressed with the service I’m receiving.

Support and customer service excellent! Provision excellent too!

Just moved in to a new build and internet infrastructure was through ONFL. Had a look at providers and Rocket Fibre was well recommended and provided speeds needed.
Set up was simple despite a few issues builder (not Rocket Fibre) related.
Rocket Fibre were brilliant at working with us, the customer, with the builders and the engineers to ensure that we had a connection as soon as possible.
It was refreshing to speak to the same person at customer service (Danielle - who was brilliant!) each time I called, and it added a personal touch and consistent support. I couldn't recommend Danielle and their customer service any more highly.
Functionability through the app is very good and speeds are as advertised.
A really good experience with a provider that I hadn't previously heard of but would now highly recommend!

I changed from my previous supplier…

I changed from my previous supplier because of dissatisfaction and chose `Rocket Fibre because of recommendations from family and friends. It was ease to set up the new account. A few problems on switch over day but a phone call to support sorted them out satisfactorily.

Unacceptable Lack of Transparency in Cancellation and Billing Terms

I contacted Rocket Fibre to ask a straightforward question regarding cancellation: if I cancel on a specific date, what is the exact end of the billing period and what charges will apply?

Despite asking clearly multiple times, I was repeatedly told they are “unable to provide a cease date until cancellation has been processed.” This does not address the question. A customer should not be required to proceed with cancellation before understanding the financial consequences.

Clear billing information and predictable notice periods are basic consumer protection principles. Customers have the right to know how final charges are calculated before committing to cancellation. Being unable or unwilling to provide this clarity places the customer in a position of financial uncertainty.

The responses felt repetitive and template-based, rather than addressing the core issue of billing transparency. Instead of explaining how the end-of-bill date is determined, the same statement was repeated.

For a telecommunications provider, this lack of transparency is concerning. Cancellation policies should be clear, structured, and easy to understand. Customers should not have to escalate or threaten regulatory action simply to obtain basic billing clarity.

Based on this experience, I have serious concerns about the transparency of their billing practices and overall consumer communication standards.

We’re disappointed to see a second review submitted, particularly as it relates to the same set of concerns already addressed.

To clarify, there are no “hidden” or unclear billing practices here. The reason we are unable to provide an exact cease date before cancellation is processed is because the final cease date is system-generated at the point of cancellation, based on the live billing cycle and notice period at that time. This ensures accuracy, rather than providing estimates that could later be incorrect.

At all times, customers are billed in line with clearly defined terms, including notice periods and billing cycles. There is no requirement to “risk” cancellation without understanding charges these are calculated in accordance with the agreed service terms, which are consistent and transparent.

It’s also important to address that this review, like the previous one, follows a request for compensation relating to 34 minutes of pre-planned, third-party maintenance carried out between 01:00 and 06:00, which was communicated in advance and falls outside the scope of compensation.

We reject the suggestion that our billing practices lack transparency. Our team provided consistent and accurate information, even if it did not align with the expectation of receiving a fixed date prior to cancellation being formally submitted.

We remain committed to clear communication and fair billing, and we wish you the best with your new provider.

Unreliable for Remote Work – Missed Meetings and Ongoing Instability

As someone who works from home, I rely entirely on a stable and predictable internet connection. Unfortunately, my experience with Rocket Fibre has been consistently disruptive and stressful.

I have experienced repeated outages, including situations where the connection failed again shortly after being informed that everything was operating normally. These interruptions have resulted in dropped video calls, disrupted remote sessions, and missed or rescheduled meetings. This directly impacts professional credibility, productivity, and daily work performance.

In addition, my static IP address was changed without clear advance notice. For users who depend on remote access setups, firewall configurations, or hosted services, this creates avoidable downtime and unnecessary stress. There was no structured communication outlining the reason, impact, or preventative measures.

Support responses often felt template-based and did not fully address the technical concerns raised. Tickets were closed without comprehensive resolution details, and the escalation process lacks clarity.

For remote workers, reliability and transparency are essential — not optional. The repeated instability and limited communication have significantly reduced my confidence in the service.

As a result, I have already started looking for a more reliable provider.

I hope meaningful improvements are made in service stability, incident management, and communication standards.

However, we’d like to clarify the specific outage you are referring to. This was not an unplanned fault, but part of pre-scheduled maintenance carried out by a third-party upstream network operator. All customers were notified in advance, and the maintenance window was scheduled between 01:00 and 06:00, specifically to minimise disruption. The actual service interruption during this window was 34 minutes.

As this was third-party planned works, it also falls outside the scope of compensation, in addition to being within a pre-announced maintenance window — both of which are standard across the industry.

We understand that any downtime can be frustrating, especially for customers working from home. That said, this was a planned and communicated maintenance window during off-peak hours, designed to ensure long-term network stability and performance.

We also want to address that this review and a second one submitted relates to the same maintenance event, during which compensation was requested for the 34 minutes of planned downtime.

Regarding your other points, including communication and support experience, we do take this on board and are continuously working to improve both transparency and the level of technical detail provided in our responses.

We genuinely regret that you’ve decided to move away from the service and wish you all the best with your new provider.

Rocket fiber 1GB service

Had Rocket fiber 1GB service installed a couple of weeks ago. City fiber installer arrived promptly and explained the process, they wore over shoe when entering the house and completed the install within a few hours. The Rocket fiber eero 6+ router arrived on Friday for the Monday install, I added it to my Amazon account and set it up with the additional router I had purchased from ebay to make sure the WiFi covered the whole house, other wise wifi in the loft may have been poor. The eero speed test in the app is consistently reporting 900 + up and down without fail. If I test from a wired PC I can see similar results, obviously on wifi speedtest is showing less due to limitation of PC and router WiFi. I ordered my service with a fixed IP address as to allow my Jellyfin server to work correctly as without this my daughter would not have been able to connect to our house. Happy with process from start to finish email from Rocket to inform me of install and no issue with install.

Absolutely rubbish Internet supplier

Absolutely rubbish Internet supplier, please don't bother signing up with them!
Paying for 900mbps.... getting 400mbps at best, even slower upstairs. Ring doorbell doesn't work as the signal is crap, even with a mesh booster.
Tv watching youtube/netflix keeps buffering which it never did before when I was with zen. Customer service is shocking too!

Edited after rocket fibre response.
Complete lies.. there had been quite a few messages before I wrote this review. And nothing has been resolved! My Internet is even poorer now at 200mbps, I even brought another eero to use as a mesh as advised by yourself. Which made zero difference! The tv keeps buffering which it never did before when I was with zen, and my ring doorbell doesn't work because it's very low on signal. Nothing has been resolved!

Serious Concerns About Data Handling and Complaint Process – Avoid

First complain:

My recent experience with Rocket Fibre has raised significant concerns regarding customer data management and complaint handling.

I strongly advise customers to think carefully before storing any card or bank details on this platform.

Communication has been poor, and responses to formal complaints have been slow and unclear. When issues arise involving payment information, you expect transparency, accountability, and proper documentation. That has not been my experience.

In addition, I have concerns regarding how customer data is handled under UK GDPR standards. Companies operating in the UK should demonstrate clear compliance, strong internal controls, and a structured complaints process. I did not see sufficient reassurance in this area.

Another concern is the lack of a visible physical office where customers can escalate matters formally or deliver correspondence in serious situations. For a telecom provider handling recurring payments, this is worrying.

For these reasons, I cannot recommend this provider. AVOID SHARE YOUS CARD BANK DETAILS!

Third Complain:

AVOID – Charging Without Service, Blocking Switch & Serious Billing Concerns

My experience with Rocket Fibre has escalated from a simple billing issue to a serious consumer rights concern.

For 12 months I paid using my personal card after updating my payment details. Despite this, a previous card linked to a former joint account remained stored on the system and was treated as an alternative payment method.

When this issue was disputed, instead of resolving it properly:

• A final bill was issued extending charges until March
• My service stopped working over the weekend
• A cease date was placed in the OFNL system, preventing my new provider from activating service immediately

So I am currently:
• Being billed
• Without working broadband
• Blocked from switching immediately

This is unacceptable.

My home relies on smart infrastructure, including heating and energy systems. With temperatures in Bicester around 2°C, loss of connectivity has had real impact on my household. I was forced to arrange alternative accommodation due to the disruption.

I also strongly question the practice of retaining multiple payment methods without clear and current consent. Customers should carefully review what cards remain saved on their accounts.

The complaints process has been defensive rather than solution-focused, and I have had to escalate this matter to the relevant regulators.

If you value transparency, switching freedom, and clear billing controls, think carefully before signing up.

Proceed with caution. DO NOT SHARE YOUR BANK CARDS DETAILS WITH THIS COMPANY!

Thank you for your review. We take concerns relating to payment security, data protection, and complaint handling extremely seriously, and it is important to clarify the facts of this matter.

Rocket Fibre operates in full compliance with UK GDPR, and all customer payment details are processed securely through regulated payment providers we do not store sensitive card data directly on our systems.

In this instance, the account had multiple authorised payment methods saved for recurring service charges. One of those cards expired, and our records show that several automated reminders were issued requesting that the payment details be updated.

To avoid interruption to an active service, our billing system automatically collected the outstanding balance using an alternative valid payment method already authorised on the account. This follows standard subscription billing practices used across the telecommunications industry.

Following the payment, the customer contacted our office disputing the charge and requesting that funds be returned to a payment card not registered to the customer. The payment method in question had been successfully used for recurring service charges since the account was opened, with no previous disputes or concerns raised. During this interaction, the conversation became aggressive, and the customer stated they would come to our office if the matter was not resolved immediately.

While we always aim to resolve concerns professionally and constructively, Rocket Fibre operates a zero-tolerance policy toward abusive, aggressive, intimidating, or disrespectful behaviour. We have a duty of care to provide a safe working environment for our employees and will always act to protect our staff. Where such behaviour occurs, it is handled in line with our Terms and Conditions.

For transparency, Rocket Fibre maintains a structured and documented complaints procedure aligned with UK regulatory expectations. Although we do not operate a public walk-in office which is standard for many modern telecom providers customers can formally contact us through established channels so that all correspondence is properly logged, investigated, and responded to appropriately.

Our records demonstrate that billing notifications were issued, authorised payment methods were used, and security and data-handling procedures were followed correctly throughout. We remain committed to professionalism, regulatory compliance, and high service standards.

OFNL network connection

Router was delivered in less than a day and the network was set up as soon as the connection went online so our new home was set up with Internet and TV services very quickly.
No problems with the service after the first month.
