This ‘business’ doesn’t deserve one star. Other reviewers state that they are liars and cowboys and this is an accurate description that you shouldn’t ignore and I can confirm the poor reviews are accurate. The others do seem a little manufactured and I don’t believe they are honest reviews from actual customers. If you go to their Google reviews this seems a lot more accurate. I wish I had read this page before any dealings with them. They are completely incompetent, I was massively inconvenienced, mislead, and to say I’m disappointed is an understatement. Dealing with them has put me out of pocket, they are dishonest and I’m genuinely disgusted by the way they treat clients. More than 4 weeks ago they made an offer to purchase my car through the Motorway app. Since then they have booked three appointments to collect the vehicle and failed to turn up on three separate occasions, I’m self employed and have taken time off work, I’ve had to arrange alternative childcare and not once have I been given the courtesy of a phone call from the dealer to tell me the driver wouldn’t arrive at the agreed date or time to collect. A phone call to keep me informed would have taken them 30 seconds but frankly they don’t seem to care. So many excuses, the driver is sick, the driver can’t get a train, is lost, it sounds to me like the ‘driver’ either doesn’t exist or isn’t capable of making a journey which is quite concerning. I’ve made countless phone calls to their office, been put on hold, given every excuse they could think of, and the experience has been
Incredibly frustrating. I gave them multiple chances to make things right and they weren’t interested in doing so. Mistakes happen and that’s understandable but the customer experience here is obviously not their priority. It’s a very badly run company and making a large sale or purchase through them would make me extremely uncomfortable now I’ve experienced this lack of service. I’ve fed this back to the team at the Motorway app, they aren’t reputable, and should be removed from their panel and that’s what I’ll be pushing for.
If you’re looking for a new car or to sell your vehicle i strongly advise you avoid these ‘cowboys’ a car is an expensive investment, you should get the experience you deserve and you should be confident that the dealer is reputable and the firm will handle any issues, I’m afraid that is not the service you will receive here. Go elsewhere and good luck to you.
An update: The company’s response is weak and dismissive. They’ve ignored all points raised and blamed the weather.. ok hun. The bad reviews are consistent throughout the year and not just in December. The strikes weren’t the issue, one failed collection was the tip of the iceberg, poor communication, poor management and poor service are. After failing to take accountability even in their complaint response I Strongly recommend avoiding these people.

I certainly unequivocally recommend anybody looking to purchase a high end vehicle from Billy and the team, trustworthy, transparent in all aspects of the transaction, willing to negotiate in order to build future customer relations, they are not just all about sales and getting you out of the door once they have your money !!

Worst experience ever. Bought a car from them last summer. The customer service was dreadful, they kept lying to me saying the car was going to be delivered (which I paid for) then making up excuses like the driver was stuck in traffic. This happened 3 times which resulted in me taking three days off work losing money. When the car was finally delivered the driver had been eating sausage rolls in the car on the journey and it was filthy. She then told us the truth and said that it hadn’t even been cleaned or was it ready to go and there were no issues why it wasn’t delivered other than they hadn’t got the car ready.
The car turned up with one illegal truer and three on the limit. They said they would send out a new tyre which they eventually did after about 5 calls over a month. They then lied again and said they had paid off my existing car finance but they hadn’t. This took four weeks and resulted in me having to just cancel my direct debit which impacted my credit score.
I would never ever use them again. Worst experience ever.

Great service from Rivera, had quick and easy reply’s from the moment we got in contact with our sales advisers Billy & was out the door within days in the perfect car. Definitely recommend & will be returning for future car enquiry’s.

Polished to perfection with zero mechanical inspection!
Don’t be fooled by the glossy online photos . Badly painted break pads , budget tyres slapped on . Worn out breaks . Oh the warranty won’t cover any of it . Zero piece of mind .
After purchasing the GLC from Riviera I’m left with numerous issues that should have been addressed prior to purchase . Guaranteed before my 4 hour drive by riviera that there would be absolutely no issues. Apparently all their cars are highly inspected. LIES.

I had to take it to a garage to get repaired for numerous problems £500 later they will not cover the full bill . Still waiting for payment . Chasing for days …

Bought Range Rover Sport from Riviera, super service, Sales guy Billy couldn’t do enough. I have worked in automotive for around 15 years of my career - there are many franchised dealer who could learn a thing or two from these guys
