In a nutshell. Just fantastic service. Spoke to 3 different departments with. They could not be more helpful and made you feel at ease. In particular id have to mention Craig In the transfers department. So, so helpful in handling my pension transfer previously and on this occasion as well. The chap was fantastic. He also went another milestone by organising a financial advisor. This is quite simply why I have chosen to transfer all my pensions to Scottish Widows. Fantastic service.

Really poor.there where supposed to ring me back after 72 hrs they didn't and when I got through I was on again for nearly 45 mins

I was disappointed that I had to contact the customer care centre after waiting 5 days after I was told they would contact me in 48 hours. After that, all seems ok so far.

Well done to the man I was speaking to resolve the problem.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!! Awful company!! I have been dealing with them 6 months to get my deceased mum’s pension paid out. Constantly they are pushing back everything. Saying we haven’t sent enough documents, losing documents, they even sent our documents to our old address from 6 years ago!! Completely breaking personal data breach, which is ridiculous!! I am now worried for my safety as some random person has my documents which they could use for fraud!! And guess what they won’t even do anything about it!! No one cares in that company. Sam Johnstone a manager can’t even get in contact with the “back office” to process the payment. We have sent all bank details and now there is another issue yet again. I have emailed the CEO twice, left a million reviews, posted on social media and still no one will do anything. I’m a young woman trying to navigate grief and phoenix life has made my life ten times harder!! And all the 5 stars reviews on this are fake by the way, they pay people to leave good reviews so the company doesn’t look that bad but don’t believe it!! Utterly disgusting behaviour from the company. DO NOT TRUST THEM.

Couldn't email, so I had to phone which was inconvenient. Lack of updates on progress, had to keep chasing.

My mum saved hard all her life to make sure her funeral was covered and to leave her children with a little inheritance these bunch of cowboys are making it impossible to withdraw her life insurance...fobbed off passed buck to buck..dosent take any stress out of losing a loved one just adds more and more stress and heartache..find a company who doesn't want to prolong paying out..my mum was taken suddenly and we cant give her the funeral she deserves because of these scumbags

It took months to transfer my pension and reply to emails and phone calls from my personal advisor every time we contacted phoenix the process went backwards was told it needed 10 working days then I rang again nothing had happened and was told it was the bank’s fault so the process had to start again received a letter telling me that the process would start on the 15th of the month if I still wanted to transfer my pension I rang on the 11th to tell them to proceed then rang on the 20th they said nothing had happened yet but so sorry it would start now but would take 10 days I was already warned by my financial advisor that they were the worst company to deal with and he was right

Further to my previous review, my tip for dealing with this company is to record your phone calls. Over the past month or so, absolutely nothing I've been told has been true. Money will be paid in by a certain time (three different times) - didn't happen. Complaint made - told I would be called back the following morning - didn't happen. Beginning to suspect deliberate obstruction now, rather than just incompetence, so will be taking complaints further.

Struggling to get two pensions with Phoenix Life sorted.
I have small DB pension that chasing and everytime ring you always say not on system then tell you to look at other system and yes found it!
But my problem is getting updates from you. Everything falls into deep hole.
Rang twice now to be told somebody from admin will ring within 3 working days and request been escalated (told company policy). We’ll never got calls and keep ringing.
Now been told will try and get things done by Friday. Forgot to ask which week and month!!
Only deal via post, so no emails been told. However their complaints can email.
Really frustrated dealing with Phoenix Life.
The second pension also gone badly, complaint in and still not resolved.
I thought Phoenix Life to be respected company but having multiple pensions to deal with, this company has been by far difficult to resolve issues.
