Nova Melbourne 

BUYER BEWARE ... I only rated them a 1 star to get the review process going.
They sent me a short-sleeved t-shirt not even advertised on their website in a small size. I ordered the Kylie Geometric long-sleeved loose fit in XL (extra large).
I requested a REFUND and many emails later with all sorts of offers of partial discounts
they finally emailed a Return form with an address in China to return the goods.
I paid $31 to return the incorrect goods delivered by Novu and Australia Post organised a tracking number as requested
by Novu which I emailed to their customer support.
The following day I received an email from Novu saying the that it had come to their notice that the package was delivered to the wrong address therefore they could not process my refund.
This address was the one given to me by Novu on their Return form.
This is absolute BLATENT DECEPTION!!!
I am a senior citizen and don't appreciate being ripped off!
This company is not in Melbourne (as the name implies). They are in China and the finance was processed in the Netherlands.
I have reported them to Trust-Pilot and have checked them out with the Scam-Detector's website where they score a very low 6.8/100.
I just wish I had read the reviews on trustpilot before purchasing from Novu-melbourne.
I do hope this helps others avoid the sheer stress I've experienced trying to deal with this company. They will do anything to avoid refunding your money!

Absolutely atrocious! The products were terrible quality and when requesting a return they just kept coming back with more offers! After finally getting them to agree to their returns policy after days of backwards and forwards. Now 4 months after return and still no refund, now my final email chase up has come back with 'address not found'

So glad I read this ladies. I was about to buy from them today thinking they were a Melbourne based company. On FaceBook they posted they were closing down their inter generational family run business due to larger companies under pricing and pushing them out off the market. Making a heartbreaking story to hear of a local small business. I am sick of these companies and have wasted enough money on cheap China product.

ZERO - Fraudulent company selling cheap, rubbish goods from China and nothing to do with Melbourne or anywhere else in Australia. I tried returning the goods following all their instructions and I gave just had the package returned with a sticker “Refused”. Pay Pal were NO HELP!!

I also thought I was buying in AUSTRALIA - not so!
The "dress" that I bought looked ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like the one that was advertised
(see bit of pic I posted).
Order #1096 is burned on my brain if NOVU would like to get back to me!
This dress is shocking - no shape, too big (although says size small) - completely unwearable - looks like a hospital gown.
I asked for my money back but was only offered a percentage.
They are DEFINITELY NOT IN MELBOURNE!

Extremely poor communication; hopeless returns process; extremely poor quality products. Many emails bounced back. Absolute sham. Goods returned to China via Aust Post after email "negotiation" for refund but still waiting after more than 6 weeks !!

Thought I was buying from an Australian Company but it is Chinese. Reviews claimed quick delivery. Ordered 3 April 2024 and it would appear article is still in China. Not sure I will ever get this dress. Don’t recommend use of the Store as very miss leading name and reviews that claim quick delivery.

Returning because of poor quality, these shoes are not worth $79.95 per pair want to return for full refund please advise return address in Australia as I purchased these on an Australian website was never advised they were being shipped from China or I would never had bought them so please provide a return address in Australia, shoes returned to China in December at my expense ($30.00) they opened the return parcel took out my return authorized form taped back up and sent back to me still in original packaging I sent them in and did not refund.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE
I have been trying for a week to return the items I ordered which once received no way reflect what was advertised. I advised the company that the sizing was totally wrong and they said I could return them once I received an email with the return policy and advice.
Once received this is not what is shown on their web site. I was expected to take photos of the items both in their original packaging and out of the packets to show I had not worn them. I duly did this and then received advice that I had 14 days to return to them from the date of advising them (a week later) and was expected to send to China.
I ordered from them because stupidly I thought that a company called Nova Melbourne would be in Australia!
Even more bizarre is that my parcel was sent by Australia Post from Chullora, NSW.
So even if I did send back to China at an inflated cost because it had to be registered and tracked there was no guarantee that it would get back to China in the 14 days from first notification. The ploy of taking the photos and sending back to them makes sure that they won't get it in 14 days.
They are a joke

Don’t buy from this site. When I was charged for 3 pairs of shoes instead of one, I tried to stop the sale. The only response was the form and instructions to return the goods to China when they arrived. I did this and have had no response in 3 months. The bank has been no help and I am out over $200 and postage!

SCAM - I ordered and paid $80 for sandals on Dec16th 2023, march 11 2024 and I have not received the sandals. They don't respond to your emails. I have used the contact us form on the website when my emails were unanswered. Nothing, total scam!!! I only wished I had read the real reviews via google review sites I wouldn't have chucked my money away.

Do not trust this company. It is no stars from me. Like other reviewers the product wasn't satisfactory and though I tried to return it and get a refund they offered various deals to reduce the refund and not return the product. Then they just shut down their email so I couldn't continue to email.them or receive any refund.
I see they are now trading as Nola Melbourne.

Return items to China as they don’t have a warehouse in an Australia. I insisted and proceeded to send it back to China at my expense. It’s been a month and is still in transit in China. When I contacted them with the return details the email gave error message. Never again

I ordered 2 pairs of orthopaedic sandals that were not cheap. When they finally came as soon as I took them out of the letterbox I knew they were cheap and nasty junk because of the plastic smell and the bag wasn’t even opened yet. Anyway, of course I returned them to China!! I provided all of the proof of the return which cost me $25!! So now I am out of pocket for just over $150. I returned the junky thongs before Xmas and now conveniently get no reply to my emails and of course to this day have not received my refund!!! This company is not worthy of any stars. (Should be minus stars).💩💩💩💩💩💩💩

Transaction was good until I received the goods which were cheap quality for the price I paid but mostly because they didn't fit. I requested to return the items, they emailed me back 3 times with offers to pay back 40% of the cost rather than return option. I reluctantly agreed because mailing back to an Asian manufacturer would have cost more. Since I agreed nothing was refunded and emails are now being blocked. A paypal dispute claim was rejected, Paypal are only interested in the transaction part and not the refund part. I will never deal with Nova Melbourne again. Dishonest!

24/7 customer support - its non existent. They do not get back to you, the email bounces back. Like previous reviews, I have read this too late maybe and will not get the refund for the item I purchased - it was crappy

Shoes are cheap and poorly made. After many emails from their support guaranteeing a refund they flatly refuse to refund anything. I even raised a dispute with Paypal and they still refuse to pay a refund, telling me they would refund me if I closed the dispute....yet another lie.

I did not get orthopedic sandals as advertised. I ordered them on line because they supposedly came from Nova Melbourne. They are cheap Chinese rubbish. I tried to return for a refund within a week but was only offered 25% refund. They didn't want me to send them back. They don't even look like the sandals on their site. Definitely not an orthopedic sole.

I had a similar experience as the last few reviews. Terrible product, slow to respond and ended up with a partial refund due to the cost of returning to asia
