I had always had good experiences with lookfantastic in the Netherlands and the UK. However I made an order on 8th May in Portugal, I received no updates on the delivery and for reasons that I still do not understand it was not able to be delivered to the pick-up point. The issue continues as I am still battling to receive my refund. I just keep receiving automated messages from customer service. All with contradictory information or with exactly the same message from a week prior. Unacceptable service.

Awful first purchase experience
I bought something for the first time using a friend’s referral code since we would both, supposedly, gain 10 euros. I followed all the requirements published on the website (it was my first order, I inserted her code when I created my account, my order was more than 35 euros), yet I didn't receive the money. When I contacted customer support, I was told that I could only use 1 code/promotion per payment, which is something that is not mentioned in the FAQ. The worst part is that one of the other promotions was automatically applied, as it was a promotion for people who subscribed for the first time to the Box! So the website put on a promotion automatically and then said that I did not meet the requirements! And that specific requirement is not even listed anywhere! The customer support experience was frustrating and very confusing, it seemed like they had automatic responses instead of giving tailored responses to my specific issue. To add to the confusion, one of the persons from customer support confirmed that I met all the requirements, while other said that I did not. I will not be making any further purchases from this website. I would rather pay more elsewhere than deal with such a frustrating experience again.

Estou muito decepcionado com o site,não sei como funciona no continente,mas a mercadoria não foi entregue na ilha. Perdido no dia seguinte após o envio,sério. Fui avisado que isso acontece o tempo todo com pedidos para ilha,mas acreditei na confiabilidade desta loja online. Há uma semana que escrevo pedidos de reembolso e recebo respostas confusas. O pedido foi perdido,o rastreamento confirma isso! Sem bens,sem dinheiro…

Fast shipping
I made the purchase on a Monday and received both the box and the rest of my items on Friday of the same week. Delivery was fast and items arrived in good conditions.
My only concern was that the box had a picture of a different product than the one in the description (photo was a SWEED mascara and the description had a KVD one). A consult was made and the first response was apologizing for the delays in delivery (as mentioned before there was no issue with it) and I had to send the message again, to which the ''we're investigating answer'' was provided, and still no response.
At the end, I got the SWEED mascara, that was the one I wanted, but this could be misleading for customers and also puts the customer service I could receive in a more serious situation in doubt. Apart from that detail, experience was ok :)

Payment issue
I contacted costumer support because everytime I can not pay by any card on this website.
I've mentioned I tried in other devices, other browsers, including on a anonymous page, etc. The issue is not my bank account balance or my bank. Even more this time that I tried to pay with a gift card and I pay with the card in all other websites and it works - I payed in a clothing website and a pharmacy website and both worked fine.
Costumer support tells me they are going to verify the situation and for me to try again. I tried again and after some days ask if they have any news and they answer me to contact my bank and to not contact them again until I have tried all the troubleshooting????? That I mentioned that I already tried!
Anyway, ended up not being able to use my gift card, because the help was none.
If the site can't solve the situation just let the clients know and I wouldn't waste my time waiting for a solution that doesn't exist.
