Dear Lookfantastic Customer Support Team, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding a product I received from your store in May 2026, specifically the "Color Wow Raise the Root Thicken + Lift Spray (150 ml)". Upon inspecting the item, I verified the manufacturer's batch code printed on the packaging, which is E4227A. According to the official manufacturing decoding system of Color Wow, this specific batch code indicates a production date of April 2024. According to Article 19 of the EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009, cosmetic products must remain safe and fulfill their initial function throughout their shelf life. While the regulation allows products with a shelf life exceeding 30 months to omit a specific calendar expiration date and instead display a Period After Opening (PAO) symbol—which for this specific Color Wow spray is 12 Months (12M)—this policy inherently assumes that the consumer receives a freshly manufactured product with a reasonable remaining factory shelf life. Given that this product was manufactured in April 2024 and delivered to me by Lookfantastic in May 2026, a total of 25 months has already elapsed since its production. Because the standard sealed stability for hair care products of this type is limited to a maximum of 24 to 30 months from the production date, delivering a product manufactured more than two years ago means its chemical formulation, active polymers, and preservatives are already nearing or at the end of their total shelf life. This leaves no viable margin to safely and effectively respect the mandated 12-month PAO consumer usage period, as the product will completely degrade and potentially become unsafe or ineffective long before the 12-month period after opening expires. Furthermore, I must strongly point out that there are numerous documented cases and public complaints regarding Lookfantastic's warehouse practices, specifically concerning the frequent shipment of outdated inventory, clearancing old stock that fails to respect the legal PAO standards, and subsequently refusing to issue legitimate refunds to customers. I am deeply concerned that your customer service might attempt to deny my refund request based on similarly unacceptable grounds, but I refuse to accept a non-compliant, stale product that has sat in your warehouse for over two years. As a distributor operating within the European market, Lookfantastic is required to ensure that products sold to consumers conform to legal safety and quality standards, meaning they must be fit for purpose and possess full shelf-life viability at the time of delivery. Receiving an outdated item constitutes a non-conforming and defective product delivery. Therefore, under consumer protection laws and EU cosmetic compliance guidelines, I kindly request a full refund for this item or the immediate shipment of a fresh replacement unit from a recent 2025 or 2026 production batch. Please find attached the photos of the product and a clear close-up of the batch code E4227A for your verification. I look forward to your prompt response and a swift resolution to this matter. Imballo perfetto, consegna un po lenta, nel complesso ok, ma vista la spesa mi è stato fatto scegliere un profumo omaggio che non è arrivato per esaurimento scorte, senza propormi attesa per riassortimento o alternative... Ci sono rimasta un po male...

Sono una cliente regolare e sono profondamente amareggiata dal comportamento di Lookfantastic. Ho ricevuto l'ordine n. 757940309 incompleto (mancavano dei prodotti) e la merce presente era danneggiata e con un odore sgradevole. Possiedo il video registrato mentre aprivo il pacco che dimostra in modo inconfutabile che i prodotti mancanti non sono mai stati inseriti.

Invece di aiutarmi, il team investigativo mi ha chiuso l'account, impedendomi di fatto di effettuare il reso gratuito della merce danneggiata dal portale online. Visto che le vostre email di assistenza non funzionano, pretendo di essere contattata per ricevere l'etichetta di reso gratuito e il mio rimborso. Sia io che i miei amici siamo scioccati da questo trattamento e lasceremo recensioni negative ovunque se la situazione non si risolve. (ASSISTENZA LOOKFANTASTIC, STATE DANDO RISPOSTE AL CAVOLO SENZA LEGGERE:

Ho prestato il mio profilo Trustpilot alla mia amica perché il SUO account è stato ingiustamente BLOCCATO da voi e non può difendersi. Di conseguenza, è impossibile entrare in qualsiasi "centro messaggi".

Molto male!
In passato mi sono abbonata più volte alla box di look fantastic. Man mano che ripetevo l'esperienza questa mi peggiorava, ora nella qualità dei prodotti, ora nella size ridicola e per ultimo nella disdetta dell'abbonamento.
Mi hanno trattenuto delle mensilità in più rispetto a quanto scritto sul sito e l'ultima volta per evitare un ulteriore addebito mi hanno costretto a bloccare la mia carta di credito con conseguenti forti disagi tra emissione di nuova carta e blocco di tutte le bollette ad essa collegata per riaggancio sulla nuova: Mai più loro clt!

Ordine effettuato da mia moglie il 5 maggio con consegna con in post quale mai arrivata…controllato il tracking risultava ma presa in carico dal corriere..assistenza clienti PESSIMA! Provveduto a contattarli con una risposta dopo 24 ore ma senza prima aver risolto il problema. Si chiedeva di poter cambiare l indirizzo di consegna e magari non utilizzare in post ma veniva categoricamente negato! Finalmente riceveva messaggio con una nuova consegna che forse adesso arriverà presso indirizzo indicato in origine! Penso che non compreremo più! Davvero pessimo pessimo!!!!!!!! Avevamo acquistato per fare dei regali e vi ringrazio vivamente che siano ancora non arrivati e soprattutto dopo la data che a noi interessava!!!!!!!

Overall, a great purchasing experience. The product quality is fantastic for the price paid, and the delivery was extremely prompt. The only downside was the packaging, which was damaged and torn upon arrival. Fortunately, none of the products were missing or damaged. Highly recommended for the efficiency and great prices

Terrible customer service

I am a loyal and regular customer of Look Fantastic and have been for a good few years now. My most recent order arrived in a busted up box (inside a clear plastic Royal Mail sack). When opening the box one item from a set that I'd ordered was missing. I contacted Look Fantastic via their app promptly explaining the situation and asking them to send out a replacement. They told me that they don't send out replacements (1 item from part of a set) but offered a partial refund. I explained that the product I purchased was a set and receiving only half of it means that the goods were not as described. I advised that I would accept a full refund for the set, or a replacement as per the 2015 Consumers Rights Act.

I then entered a back and forth exchange with multiple customer service representatives who refused to address the point or offer an appropriate solution.

I am genuinely shocked at how appalling the customer service is, and how willing Look Fantastic are to break the law.

I have since opened a dispute via my credit card company, will never be purchasing from Look Fantastic again and will be reporting the company to Trading Standards.

It is now over a month later and I’ve realised Lookfantastic still did not fully refund the shipping costs for an order that never even arrived.

I paid extra for next day delivery for a birthday gift, the parcel never came, and the tracking showed it was never even received by the courier. After waiting 10+ days, I was told it was “lost in post.” Now I’ve discovered they didn’t even refund the full delivery charge for a service that was never provided.

Completely unacceptable customer service and very disappointing handling of the situation from start to finish. I would not recommend this company.
