Scam from Lalamove rider and Complaints not attended by Customer Service

3. No one from lalamove customer service live chat with me to assist this matter accordingly. Keep on sending me automatic message that case been handle. And send the Onlineform link which doesnt work. Even already inform them that link can't send.
The driver tried to scam and poor handling by Lalamove customer support
I ordered a delivery and paid fully using my lalamove wallet. Then driver delivered the order , it was all good until the driver started for extra 197 THB charge. I am an expat living in Thailand. I tried to understand why he is asking for the extra charge. I don't speak Thai but i tried to understand the reason by using the translation app. Despite my efforts, the driver didn't explain to me clearly, didn't even try to explain why he is charging extra. He wasn't cooperating to use the translator to talk. He constantly kept asking for additional cash for an order that's fully paid using Lalamove wallet. I had to fight him off and i didn't pay the extra he was asking for, but the whole experience was very unpleasant.
I tried to contact to Lalamove support multiple times, but no help from them. According to them, since i didn't pay the cash the driver was asking, it is all good. The same driver probably pull this trick to all the expats living in Thailand , and when someone is just naive enough , he scams them.
Shame. Will never use Lalamove again, will continue with alternatives.

Customer cancelled order, waste my time & fuel
As a lalamove driver, I have been cancelled order many times by customers which resulte in loss of time and fuel for me but Lalamove does not compensate us at all. If today things are different and I cancelled a customer's order, I actually get penalized by lalamove. Lalamove is unfair and unethical. Do not work for them.

Lalamove - a serious threat to society!
I have filed a complaint with Lalamove but they seem to ignore the seriousness of the event happened to me and it highly might harm anybody. I have pre-booked this driver and when I called him on the day itself, he requested to be much early but too rush for me. Just be nice and I have agreed and spent extra transportation to reach ASAP. Driver and helper were unhappy I was late for 15mins and I have informed them that I am actually felt unwell and might vomit anytime. To make the whole moving smoothly, I told them to select anything item from Storefriendly unit to fit into their truck after I have showed them my unit. I was too weak, have to sit aside and let them proceeded. They just stared at the unit and I vomitted out of sudden on myself. They ran off without any reason or concern and I was very upset, disappointed and disgusted by their behaviour. I was felt so helpless and alone they came to inform me that moving service has been cancelled. When I asked for the reason but they just ran offer without hesitation. How humiliating, inhumane actions and just left me hopelessly. This driver must be punished and must not actively working in this industry especially with Lalamove. His unacceptable attitude can cause serious consequences or harm to anyone who might be sick or elderly or disabled or assistant attention required. Lalamove not only still let his actively working, ignored my reports against him and just informed me that they have blocked him for taking my order. Seriously? Do i still get his service again? What an insult outcome. Lalamove, shame on you and I am very disappointed with all the “fake” actions taken.
Very poor business practices

I used your app expecting a straightforward service: enter the pick-up point, drop-off point, select the vehicle, get a quote, confirm, pay — done. That’s how a delivery platform should work.
Instead, after confirming my order, I got a call from the driver demanding extra money just to collect the items. He said the quoted price only covered him sitting in his car, and that actually picking up the items would cost more.
This makes no sense. A delivery service by definition means picking up the item and dropping it off. Unless your drivers expect items to magically fly out of an apartment window and land in the back seat, this practice is misleading and unacceptable.
The app should be transparent. The quoted price must cover the basic expectation of door-to-door pick-up and drop-off. Customers should not be harassed by drivers asking for more cash after booking.
On top of that, my items were time-sensitive. I tried contacting customer service but discovered you’re only available until 6 PM. I couldn’t cancel the order because cancellation also requires going through customer service — which was already closed.
If there are additional fees, they should be clearly presented in the app during the booking process, not sprung on customers by drivers demanding cash. This approach feels unprofessional and reflects poorly on the company.
I hope this issue is addressed seriously.
Never use lalamove
The driver’s pick up your request and then drop it and then ask you to cancel so they are not charged. This happened two times on one day and made it so my pick up time was too late. I missed out on thousands of dollars of merchandise because Lalamove could not pick it up in time. Even though I gave them 24 hours to do so. Then, when I went to get my money back, they would not. I told them if I did not get a refund, I would write a bad review. This is not a threat. In fact, it is a courtesy. Afterwards, they opened a ticket saying I threatened them with a bad review. Their team is incompetent and insensitive. Please never use them.

I had a very disappointing experience…
I had a very disappointing experience with this delivery company. My item arrived damaged, and despite providing clear evidence, they refused to take responsibility or offer any compensation. Their customer service was unhelpful and dismissive throughout the process.
As a paying customer, I expected at least some accountability, but instead I was left with a broken item and no support. I will not be using their service again and would not recommend them to anyone who values their items arriving safely and intact.
Their reason being Lalamove will not be able to proceed with the compensation
request as there is no receipt/invoice to determine the value of the
item.
How will someone have a receipt/invoice of the furniture after many years of having the furniture? It seems they are letting me know without a receipt as an insurance, dont engage if items are found damage after delivery.
The next dishonest thing is that the delivery man told me it was damaged before moving out from the pick up address. Luckily for us we have a video proof of the item being transported out with no damages. But its still not enough to proof as i do not have the receipt to proof the value of the item.

Not worth any star! Worst customer experience. Booked a day before, then driver canceled last minute. Another driver too over but 3 hours late (so unreliable). Contacted customer service, they cancelled my booking when new driver already on the way. Customer service chat was terrible, let u wait then disconnected the conversation. Will never use Lalamove again, never.
Another problem, the app is asking we give tip before service, this is very wrong.

Worst customer service experience ever. Reached out via the help center, but instead of getting help, I was left more stressed. The support team was unprofessional, unhelpful, and ended the chat without solving anything. Completely disappointed! 0 star for your customer service. Name Michael and Yaya!
