I honestly can't trust Lalamove anymore after this experience.
The rider canceled my booking while he was already on the way to the drop-off location. The worst part is that I had already paid him in cash because my booking clearly stated that the **sender would pay**. Despite that, the rider still asked the recipient for another payment.
What made it even more confusing was that after the booking was canceled, the rider details suddenly changed. It looked like my booking had been reallocated to another rider, and I could no longer see the name of the original rider who had my package. Imagine handing your items to someone, then suddenly the booking shows as canceled and the rider's information changes. That's not trustworthy at all.
The only reason I found out my package was actually delivered was because I personally called the recipient. If I hadn't, I would've assumed my package never arrived since the app only showed the booking as canceled.
Customer support was just as disappointing. Whether through chat or email, they were very unprofessional. They kept ending the chat without giving a clear answer, showed no empathy, and just kept going in circles instead of explaining what actually happened. There was no proper explanation for how a rider could cancel a booking while already delivering it, and no reassurance that this kind of issue wouldn't happen again.
If riders can cancel bookings like this and the system allows rider details to change afterward, it really makes you question how safe it is to trust them with your belongings.

Inside job scam by Lalamove
I entrusted Lalamove with a delivery containing ₱54,000 worth of smart washlets. Instead, I was allegedly matched with a driver account that turned out to be inactive, resulting in the loss of my goods.
What is even more concerning is the lack of updates regarding my complaint. Despite providing documentation, including proof of purchase and details of the incident, no one from Lalamove has provided a clear resolution, compensation proposal, or meaningful progress report.
Given the circumstances, I believe there are serious questions that need to be answered regarding how an inactive driver account was able to be used in this transaction and what safeguards were in place to protect customers.
I am holding Lalamove accountable and will pursue all available legal remedies to recover my losses. If this matter is not resolved promptly and fairly, we will see each other in court.

De iniciar siendo un servicio de calidad ahora ha desmerecido, me han robado 3 paquetes y no hacen nada, los operadores ya lo saben y se está convirtiendo en una plataforma llena de ladrones, hay que tener mucho cuidado al mandar paquetes por Lalamove.

Package Tampering, Forged Signature, and Shocking Corporate Double Standards
I am giving Lalamove a one-star rating due to a severe breach of trust, package tampering, and fraudulent behavior by their rider, followed by a completely unacceptable and biased customer service response.
When the rider picked up the package, the pickup photo clearly showed the box was completely sealed and secured with staples. However, upon delivery, the box had been cut open and the security sticker was tampered with. To make matters worse, when I checked the app, I discovered the rider had electronically forged my signature to falsely mark the package as successfully received.
I immediately reported this to Lalamove with clear photographic evidence of the tampered box and the forged signature. Shockingly, they refused to accept my evidence. Instead, they demanded that I provide CCTV or video footage to prove the package arrived compromised.
To add insult to injury, Lalamove informed me that the rider visited their office and simply gave a verbal justification claiming he delivered the package intact. Lalamove blindly accepted his word without requiring him to provide a single shred of photographic or CCTV evidence—the exact same proof they are unfairly demanding from me.
This is entirely unfair and unsatisfactory. I paid Lalamove to do a job, which includes securing the item in transit. It is absurd that they are shifting the burden of proof onto a paying customer while letting their own driver off the hook based on nothing but an undocumented verbal statement.
Because Lalamove refuses to take accountability for rider fraud and package tampering, I have officially escalated this matter and filed formal complaints with both the DTI and the DICT. Avoid this service if you expect your items to be handled safely and honestly.

Avoid this company - their driver turned up 2 hours late , despite me telling him I had a work meeting . I spent $1000 on a stone table and tv console . I got a message from teh seller saying these muppets were dragging the table on its side across the floor and using it to hold the lift doors open . They also didnt wrap it as agreed . When they turned up they proceeded to drag the table across concrete - I saw the scratched straight away and showed him - he just laughed . Then they banged the stone table top of the door and chipped it . I had an argument with them but they said ' these things happen ' - zero care zero apology . When he left he then blocked me on the app and whatsapp . I complained to LaLaMove , zero interest from them , When you fill out a compensation from , very conveniently they only allow you to upload 4 images and evidence - then reply saying sorry , not enough evidence . I filled again a complaint and had to create my own document - they finally agreed to pay the cost of the booking not the $200 max amount you can claim ! Dont use this company , they simply dont care

I booked from carsadang bago 2 imus to bacoor. the lalamove rider accepted my booking stated 5 mins away in the apps and the exact location is carsadang bago. mins away became 7 mins went to 10 mins and as per checking, the location in already in kawit. Okay, that's fine atleast the rider may earn more than my booking. After more than 30 mins, the rider arrived . finally. The rider is complaining that the item is cake and I understand. But the worst thing is that he's saying that so rude. It's not the first time we do that I said. And he's continuing saying that I will accept that but the item will be spoiled. Confirming that so arrogant. Then okay please cancel the booking and I will find someone else. But he's arguing still saying that I should be the one who cancel the order. I booked the order with grab and delivered smoothly. I reported the case to Lalamove and asking the details of the cancelled transaction becasuse there is no registered transaction in my apps. Only they can say is the Data Privacy Act. Come on. It should be registered in y apps. Only they can say that the concerned has been forwarded to the team. And to whom? who is the specific rider and transaction. But they are not going to tell you because they are lazy to retrieve a file. The worst part, they only forwarding the same copied messages that is not helpful para sumuko ka nalang.

Absolutely disgusted with Lalamove.
The rider Rejeboy Molina picked up my envelope with documents enclosed yesterday and the items have not yet been delivered some 24 hours later despite being a 1-2 hour delivery service. I also paid in cash up front.
The driver has been unreachable through the Lalamove app and has been ignoring my chats.
I contacted the so-called "live-chat" which seemed more like a bot whose only response was to fill-in an insecure and online Google form to complain.
What makes it worse, the complaints department won't assist you AT ALL if you do not have photo evidence of a receipt, do not have photo evidence of you handing an envelope over to the rider, screenshot evidence of your conversation of the chat with the driver.
The fact that Lalamove already has all this information documented in their system as well as their app acknowledging pick-up, payment etc., is NOT, according to Lalmove, proof of anything.
Disgusting company with disgusting ethics and no sense of customer responsibility.

Horrible after-service
I’ve been using Lalamove for many years for business deliveries and have generally trusted the service, but a recent delivery incident has completely changed my perception.
The driver was late and behaved in a hostile and unprofessional manner throughout the process. This resulted in a failed delivery, and we had to arrange our own logistics to collect the order directly from the driver.
Despite providing a clear timeline and supporting evidence, Lalamove rejected our claim and did not address the issue adequately. Delays can happen, but unprofessional driver conduct and poor dispute handling are unacceptable. This experience has severely impacted our trust in the service, and we will be discontinuing usage.
