Good experience OTP-JFK
Alot of reviews are from the same late flight. I took them from Bucharest to JFK expecting the worst.. but it was a great flight
1) Flight left on Time
2) Onboars movies had a small but good selection
2) Breakfast included fruit, croissant, bread, scrambled eggs, jam (delicious)
3) Lunch was beef or chicken with tiramisu, fruit (delicious)
4) They have SOCKS, Toothbrush, Toothpaste, EyeMask, Headphones.. never got these on any other airline

Our flight was on 23.10.2025 from Hurgada to Sibiu.H47414
The company didn't tell us anything, just a person who worked there at the Hurgada airport came to the waiting area and told us that there is a technical problem and our flight is delayed for 6 hours and ,after that, this person never came to speak with us again. The delay was more than 6 hours. We where supposed to fly from Hurgada to Sibiu at 11.45 a.m. and in the end we board the plane at 10.30 p.m.
The company was unprofessional and rude.I can't imagine what all the other people felt like, but I was disappointed and treated like shit by this company.

I am extremely dissatisfied with HiSky Airlines. My flight was cancelled without any clear explanation, and I have not received a refund. The customer service has been unhelpful and unresponsive, offering no real solutions or responsibility for the issue. It feels like the company simply ignores its passengers and their rights.
I do not recommend flying with HiSky. Their lack of professionalism, poor communication, and failure to return my money caused significant stress, wasted time, and financial loss. This experience was completely unacceptable, and I hope this review helps others avoid the same situation.
CAMBIO VOLO SENZA PREAVVISO
Prenotato volo con partenza 8.40 della mattina, a 3 giorni dalla partenza provo a fare il check-in e scopro magicamente che il volo è stato spostato alle 16.50 della sera pregiudicando tutto il viaggio e senza aver ricevuto alcuna comunicazione da parte di HiSky ne tantomeno da eDreams tramite cui ho prenotato. Quest'ultima addirittura non sapeva nulla. MAI PIU!

This is honestly one of the worst airline experiences I’ve ever had! The flight was delayed twice, and we had to stand for over an hour just waiting for the bus to take us to the plane.
Then, once we were finally on board, we waited for another hour or more before the flight even took off. My flight was scheduled for 10:00 AM, but it was delayed to 12:30 PM, then again to 2:00 PM, and we were still sitting inside the plane until 3:30 PM without moving!
It was unbelievable — completely unorganized and unprofessional. Even if their tickets are cheap, I will never travel with this company again. Absolutely terrible service! Literally NEVERR AGAINNN❌❌❌‼️‼️‼️
I lost my connecting flight
I lost my connecting flight, because of a 4 hour delay.
I can't blame them for that 'cause i've booked the other flight from a different company ( lufthansa i think).
BUT HOW THEY handled the situation deserves -5 stars.
They played with the delay limits to the maximum , no refund, no rebook, no anwser. They said it was technical , but i can't believe them.
They are cheap/er but it's not worth it.
For direct flights they might be ok...
After the incident they did not give any compensation, covering themselfs with Engine problem-cause that bypasses the E.U. law of 400 to 600€ compensation law!
Other problem the website is really really bad, like it's from 2010.... there is no account , no sign in....
Stay away from them!

OTP - JFK The worst Air line ever in 35 years
The worst Air line ever. Flight from OTP to JFK on October 20.2025.
Judge for yourself. Scheduled for 9:30 , push back for 11:30 and announce for 13:30 . Still on the gate at 14:30 . The gate did open at 14:30 and the passengers been transfer to the plane by bus. At 15:50 the plane start to move .After taking off and few hours into the flight at 18:00 the Crew served the Breakfast and at 23:00 was lunch time . Any time in between ther was no presence of any crew member to ask for a needed glass of water and when I ask for a Coca-Cola , they refused to serve me. The most incompetent Crew Team I ever seen in my 35 years experience flying with most Airlines. Think befor using this Airline

don’t know about other people’s experience, but my flight from Bucharest to Israel went really well — comfortable, well-air-conditioned plane, enough staff, no delays, and no overcharging for luggage. A good one

Se scegli di volare con HiSky non fare piani di partenza ed arrivo sia all'andata che al ritorno.Compri il biglietto e poi giri la ruota della fortuna e se ti va bene parti con un paio d'ore di ritardo o ti ritrovi il volo spostato dalla mattina alla sera dello stesso giorno... ma solo se sei molto molto fortunato.
Flug gecancelt ohne Benachrichtig und ohne Grund
Mein Flug wurde gestrichen ohne Benachrichtig. Ich habe es durch Zufall bemerkt, als ich mich nicht einchecken konnte. Beim einloggen auf der Homepage wird der Flug immer noch als bestätigt angezeigt, obwohl es auf der offiziellen Webseite des Start Flughafen und der eigene Homepage nicht angezeigt wird = also den Flug gibt es nicht. Hisky Kundenservice reagiert nicht auf meine Anfragen.

delay over delay and always...delay. If You don't have enough airplanes, give up so many routes. In a 45 min flight from Timișoara to Bucharest 2.5 h delay. Also Bucharest-Timisoara 2 h delay. Run, do not book them.
