They are big thieves and scammers

They are big thieves and scammers. They sell products that then they do not supply. I purchased on board lunches for 3 of us. Not only they did not serve any food on the flight, but the flight attendant was acting as if we were to know that TAROM company NEVER carry any food on board of their planes. She gave us some crackers from a colleague's supply, out of pity that we were hungry. Therefore, I was sold food (69 euro value) that was never supplied nor was intended to be supplied. Hence, calling them thieves and scammers. Multiple emails, phone calls during the next few months to no avail in getting our money back. Last phone call to their customer service I was told that the matter was "subject to investigations"?!?! That is so ridiculous. Such utter disrespect for their customers, it's hard to believe. Just purely fraud. Selling and not supplying after taking my money is a clear breach of consumer rights and a clear theft. I would not recommend them to anyone and I will definitely never use them again.

Sur le vol Paris

Sur le vol Paris - Bucarest du dimanche 19 j’ai été atterré par le non professionnalisme du personnel de cabine, complètement dépassé par la situation. Plus de 3 quart d’heure pour effectuer l’embarquement, des bagages dans tous les sens, des passagers perdus, une hôtesse qui compte les passagers à trois reprises … une atttisue à la limite de l’aimabilité … bref un vol qui s’annonce comme une belle catastrophe compagnie à fuir.

Zero stars

Appalling service from airline. Flight was delayed and fell into the compensation qualification. However the airline did not respond to any of my correspondence. I escaped this to the CAA who also looked into it and had no correspondence from this airline. They agreed that I was due compensation but could not enforce it.

Schlechter geht nicht

Ein von mir gebuchter und bezahlter Flug wurde von Tarom storniert. Auf meine Anfragen (3 x per Email in knapp 5 Wochen), was denn nun geschieht, reagiert Tarom nicht. Geld wurde bis jetzt auch nicht erstattet.

Compagnie aérienne qui vole les clients

Tarom m’a vendu des billets pour un vol qui n’existe pas. Je les ai appelé et fait deux mails aucune réponse de leur part. Ils ont annulé le vol la veille, ce dont je me doutais puisqu’ils n’étaient pas autorisés à voler à cause de la guerre au moyen orient et je n’ai aucune trace de remboursement. On parle de plus de 2000 euros et l’agence « go voyages » Par qui je suis passé est complice de cette arnaque. Du vol à l’état pur !! Une honte !!

Indemnité en attente depuis 6 mois suite à défaillance de Tarom

Le 4 septembre 2025, je devais prendre un vol Tarom/ Air France vers Bucarest, le matin.

Arrivée + de 3 heures à l'avance à l'aéroport, on m'annonce un souci technique sur le vol : l'appareil venant de Bucarest avait dû être changé, ce qui pouvait impacter l'embarquement sur le vol initialement prévu. En résumé, les voyageurs ne savaient pas jusqu'au dernier moment s'ils pourraient embarquer.

Après avoir été vraiment baladée par les agents de Tarom et Air France à Roissy CDG pendant des heures, alors que je voyageais pour un mariage, j'ai finalement été reportée, au tout dernier moment, sur le vol du soir. Les agents et le responsable de Tarom me promettaient 400 euros d'indemnisation à l'arrivée, qu'un comptoir serait installé spécialement pour cela à Bucarest (ce qui est écrit dans le règlement de Tarom, sur leur site internet).

Le vol du soir a lui-même eu du retard, environ 1h30, je suis arrivée à environ 1h du matin à Bucarest, après avoir passé la journée à Roissy CDG, alors que j'étais en vacances et que j'allais à un mariage.

D'autre part, il n'y avait aucun comptoir à Bucarest et je n'ai pas eu les 400 euros qui m'étaient dus.

J'ai fait une réclamation et j'ai demandé mon indemnisation à Tarom plusieurs fois (car aucune réponse à ma première demande, ni aux suivantes ensuite) : sur leur site, par mail, appel, lettre recommandée avec avis de réception. N'ayant aucune réponse ni aucune nouvelle de mon indemnisation depuis (soit + de 6 mois), je poste ce commentaire ici.

J'exige les 400 euros d'indemnité qui me sont dus. J'ai consulté mes droits, et je ferai un recours juridique si je n'ai pas de réponse immédiate à présent, j'ai été plus que patiente. Je ne laisserai pas passer cela.

Experiență foarte dezamăgitoare cu TAROM.

Întreaga situație a fost stresantă și mi-a stricat planurile de călătorie. experiență foarte proastă.

We contacted the company ourselves, even though it's the law that they have to rebook you automatically, and let you know,7 people in that situation. Many hour after we phone them, they reschedule us to next day flight to Toronto. No vouchers for food, no hotel pay, no compensation, no communication, no appologies.
Don't fly Tarom, they are not reliable, or serious Company. No wonder they are almost in bankruptcy. This is not the way to conduct business.
Not recommended. Don't fly Tarom

Tarom est une compagnie qui ne sait pas…

Tarom est une compagnie qui ne sait pas communiquer.
Par exemple, mon vol prévu à 13h10 est repoussé d'heure en heure sans information.
Depart maintenant prévu à 16h.
Ce qui est sûr en revanche, c'est que j'arrête de voyager avec Tarom !

Very poor experience with TAROM

TAROM cancelled my flight one and a half years ago, and until today I have not received any refund or compensation for the ticket price.
I have submitted formal complaints multiple times, but never received any response from the company.
This level of negligence and lack of responsibility toward passengers is completely unacceptable, especially after such a long period of time.
My experience with TAROM has been extremely disappointing, and I do not recommend this airline due to poor customer service and failure to respect passenger rights.

Never again with Tarom

Bucharest is a fascinating city with a rich history, excellent food, and genuinely friendly people. Unfortunately, I strongly recommend not flying with TAROM.

Our experience at the airport was, without exaggeration, the worst we have ever had, and it completely ruined the mood and memories of our three-day visit. The issue was not the old seats or the questionable condition of the aircraft, but the extremely rude and unprofessional staff at check-in, who treated passengers with blatant arrogance.

The problems were so numerous that describing them all would take pages. The core issue seems to be systemic: staff who behave like untouchable civil servants, with no accountability, no performance evaluation, and no real consequences for doing their job poorly — which, in this case, they did exceptionally badly.

I would never recommend flying with this company. There are many alternatives that are not only cheaper, but vastly better in terms of service. Even low-cost airlines offer a far superior experience.

Stay far away from TAROM.

Bad website but great check-in & flight exprience with dog

Yes, their website is terrible. But the on-flight experience is fine! We didn't see any reviews of people flying with a dog so here is how it went for us. We have a 6 month old puppy and travelled between Brussels and Bucharest. They checked his paperworked at check-in and had a quick look at him while he was in the bag, they were very quick and very kind. Customer service was equally helpful and kind over the phone and e-mail when we had additional questions. No complaints!

Valise perdu sans réponse

Vol correct un peu brusque mais raisonnable, par contre la valise a était perdue et oublié dans l aéroport précédent , j’ai du rester 3 jours sur Istanbul avant de la récupérer pour partir dans la destination de vacances j’ai du acheter des vetements nécessaires de toilette et réserver un logement plus longtemps. J’ai envoyé 6 mails et je n’ai jamais au de réponse de leur part pour un remboursement

If they don´t pay me the will get an important sanction

I have a binding resolution in my favor from the Spanish State Aviation Safety Agency (AESA) against Tarom, for which they must pay me 800 euros. Tarom is not responding, so I am going to request that AESA sanctions them and I´ll go to the court. Do you know if they respond or if they are breaking the law?

Je ne comprends pas pourquoi cette…

Je ne comprends pas pourquoi cette compagnie fait partie de l’alliance Sky Team. On est très très très en dessous des standards Air France KLM. Et pourtant à un prix identique à ces compagnies.
Les PNC sont aimables comme des portes de prison. Si vous avez faim ou soif, il faut payer. Comme sur un low cost classique, mais au prix Sky Team.
Et mon voisin a pu boire 4 bouteilles de 33cl de vin Blanc. Sans doute stressé par le vol…. Pas par le prix variable de la bouteille qui a fini à 100LEI pour la dernière….
Prenez Wizair. Plus pro et beaucoup moins cher.

Lost Baggage

This has been the worst and most disappointing travel experience I’ve ever had. The airline lost my baggage and has given no response to my repeated emails. Their customer service staff are impolite on the phone and show a complete lack of professionalism. I am left without any compensation.

I travelled today from Brusseles to…

I travelled today from Brusseles to Otopeni,flight number RO 374.Despite the bad weather with frequent turbulences,the pilots(Mr.Sebastian Georgescu & team) managed a perfect fly,arrived before the scheduled time and landed on the wet runway without any problem.Thank you,TAROM people!
