Professional and friendly service. Went out of her way to make everything easy to understand. Highlighted potential areas of conflict and problems and resolutions.

So first things first: my case was about housing disrepair, and we did succeed (partially) on the claim.

We started in October 2021, and only got done with everything in May 2024.

Went through 3 different paralegals/trainee solicitors, which was a bit of a nightmare with paper trail. Not a big fan of this chaotic method they have, so there's lots to improve on their side. I've had to submit/upload the same documents more than once at some stage, which although understandable from a change of case handler point of view, raised a concern over data management, but not about the safety of my data.

The case itself was handled in a somewhat normal manner, just the awkward changes of case handler that caused a bit of delays in my opinion, and at some stages we didn't feel the right approach was taken, and felt some routes were left unexplored. Expectations were set pretty high from the beginning, and slowly brought down. By the end of this lengthy process, I can't say we felt winners. We felt like this was done with, and let's just call it a day.

We really wanted our day in court, and felt a bit let down by not having it, but it is what it is. Sometimes settling might be the best way moving forward.

Had 2 cases open with GLP since March 2024. 1 of them has been resolved very quickly and we received our compensation rapidly. The second case is still ongoing as it's a lot more complicated but it's being resolved in a timely manner with all issues being acknowledged carefully investigated. Really happy so far. Would recommend for house in disrepair issues.
